SUMMER BREAK IS OVER SO WE ARE BACK WITH WE HAVE TO GO BACK FOR SEASON 8!!! CHECK OUT WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO OVER THE SUMMER AND WHAT IS COMING UP FOR THIS SEASON!!

Well, we did it, we remembered to end the season. HA! Listen, it's not easy doing podcasts with pottyheads, but we made it through. This episode is about the classic (interpretive) piece of propogandic film Reefer Madness. Made in the 1930's as a warning to America's youth at the *supposed* dangers of marijuana. It has it all...as Stefon would say-intrigue, abuse, murder, self-un-aliving, and just a slew of fake scenarios that the men of the mid-30's were trying to "Tell the Children" to be aware of. Coming out of the "Roaring 20's", America was having a shifting moment into absolute zzzzzzzzz snoozefest. Listen to us talk about the film and analyze the message and perception. Stay tuned for an end of season BONUS episode where a very very rough cut recording of us actually watching the movie, no mics, no headphones, no noise cancelling equipment just raw unfiltered moments.

This was such a fun episode and something a little different than what we normally do! So if you've been paying attention then you would know that season 7 has been the Cannabis inspired season-from tv shows, movies, documentaries and now everything in between. If you've been paying close attention then you would know that Catt is a buddytender at a local dispensary in the Reno/Sparks area. Her boss, co-worker/friend has created an amazing app for the cannabis community called KannaMatch. Jakob-the creator joins us on the episode along with another co-worker/friend Cam, who has been helping Jakob get the app live. The app is a one-stop-shop for cannabis education, inventory, and you can even skip the lines and shop on this app. We also share fun stoner stories of our own and from listeners who have written in. !!!!!!!!RECREATIONAL CANNABIS USE IN NEVADA IS FOR PEOPLE 21 AND OLDER!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE KEEP IT OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND ENJOY IT RESPONSIBLY!!!!!!!!

WOOOOOO! Come with us to the Emerald Triangle for some investigative journalism. The area has the reputation of being a very mysterious place, with rugged terrain and MRDR!!

We are back with the continuation of High Maintenance the HBO series. As before we loove this series, it's just a slice of life, human experience, and we were very satisfied with it. As per usual there will be SPOILERS for this show and otherr shows and books that we are watching and discussing. Next week we will be back with a very special guest and episode. For a little hint visit Kannamatch.com and then you'll get an idea of what we are gonna be talking about and with whom. The show next week is Murder Mountain, a Netflix documentary that is about the bloodshed in the Emerald Triangle.

Given the unfortunate lack of weed media we are choosing to do High Maintenance in 2 parts; the webseries and the tv show on HBO. Both are magic and deserve their own time, but we also needed to take up some space on the episodes. This show has definitley stood out for both of us among the stereotypical weed media floating around, it was such a vibe. The episodes are short, sweet and packed full of human experiences that The Guy meets from selling weed in NYC. We fully recommend watching this show before you listen but the spoilers are minimal.

We are going back back to 2008 with this classic stoner/action/buddy comedy! The Cinemaniacs join us once agaon for one of our favorites. Arguably the best of the best in it's genre, quotable for days and just an overall hilarious movie. This movie was so iconic that the fictional strain became a real life one in honor of this film. We ask the questions: Why was Franco cancelled? Does the movie hold up? Was Red the true hero or just a dude trying to survive?

Join us as we talk about this original Netflix show from 2017 that follows the characters in Ruth's Alternative Healing. Kathy Bates is a Freedom Fighting hippie from the sixties who opens a legal dispensary in California. She has a rag tag group of hilarious characters that make up this oddly arranged sit-com. Find out if it was dope or swag for us!

Well, good people we made it to the end of another Deep Dive! Join us as we talk about the last season of the epic Weeds. Where are we on the show for season 8? Is Nancy the villain in this story or was she just a mom doing what she had to do to survive? Team Andy? Silas' glow up and Shane's glow down! And of course we end this with FMK-Weeds style! Come back next week for our Lighthearted start-Disjointed
