Something Reached for Their Car on a Dark Road: One Night, Two Witnesses, No Explanation
2026/10/27
Bethany, a longtime listener of Codega's Codex of Curiosities, shares the spiritual awakening that followed the loss of her infant son Cruz in 2018, along with a strange entity encounter that she and her husband witnessed independently on the same night. Bethany walks through the messages she believes came from Cruz, including a dream a stranger felt compelled to pass along and a moment where she heard her son's voice break through her grief, before describing the night everything changed: camped out in her car on a dark country road, Bethany entered a dream state and saw an impossibly tall, two-dimensional being with pale skin, oval eyes, and long talon-like fingers wrapped around her car's side mirror. What makes the account remarkable is that her husband Sean, wide awake in the driver's seat, described the exact same being in matching detail, down to the witch-like hands, without any prompting from her. Bethany and Rye dig into what the entity might have been, why she felt curiosity instead of fear, and how a tarot pull of the death card lined up with the night it all happened. In This Episode •      Bethany, a longtime listener of the podcast, describes herself as a lifelong skeptic who never believed in the paranormal until her world changed in 2018, when she lost her infant son Cruz to SIDS at five months old. That loss became the starting point for a years-long spiritual awakening she still doesn't fully understand.   •      Shortly after Cruz's death, a woman Bethany barely knew reached out with an unsolicited dream: an older man rocking a baby, with a clear message that "we're okay." The timing lined up with the first anniversary of Cruz's death, and the description of the older man matched two grandfather figures Bethany and her husband had lost around the same time, though Bethany admits she wasn't ready to process it as anything more than strange at the time.   •      The real turning point came later, during a difficult period when Bethany was living apart from her husband Sean and working through unprocessed grief. In a moment of raw honesty with a family member, she heard what she describes as her son's voice, speaking as a five to seven year old, asking whether something good could still come from his death. It marked the start of her shift out of a dark period and into a more open relationship with the unexplained.   •      As she reconciled with Sean and leaned into tools like tarot for processing her emotions, Bethany pulled the death card for the first time, a card she associates with letting go of old patterns rather than literal death. That same night, while trying to put distance between herself and an old friendship, she and Sean ended up camping overnight in their car on a quiet, wooded road.   •      While asleep against the passenger window, Bethany entered what she describes as a dream state with multiple simultaneous perspectives: her own, one from above the vehicle, and one from her husband's point of view in the driver's seat. In it, she saw an impossibly tall, two-dimensional being, dressed entirely in black, with pale skin, oversized oval eyes, and long, talon-like fingers wrapped completely around the car's side mirror and resting near her window.   •      Bethany woke to the sound of squealing tires as Sean sped them away from the spot at dawn. Without telling him what she had seen, she began asking careful questions about what had scared him, and his answer matched her own account almost exactly, down to the witch-like, elongated fingers and the unnaturally pale skin, even though neither of them had described it to the other first.   •      Sean later admitted that when he saw the being staring in at Bethany through the window, he tried to back the car into it. Instead of being struck, the figure appeared to mist out of the way and stayed visible in his rearview mirror until it evaporated as they crested a hill at sunrise.   •      Unlike similar accounts Bethany has heard, including one involving a sleep paralysis style encounter with long spindly arms, she never felt fear during the sighting, only intense curiosity, as if the being were simply observing her. She theorizes it could be something ancient, tied to people going through major spiritual shifts or awakenings, though she's quick to admit she doesn't have a firm answer.   •      Bethany closes the conversation teasing a separate, unsettling discovery involving a heavy, decomposing object she and Sean uncovered that she plans to detail more fully in a future episode.   Best Line of the Night "I believe more in the things I can't see than I do in the things that we do see." Bethany, on how losing her son reshaped what she's willing to believe. Near Death Experiencer and Whistleblower Part 2: Back From the Other Side and What He Wants You to Know
2026/10/25
PART 2 OF 2 Near death experiencer and whistleblower Greg, the creator behind the Uprising 144K channel and a former medical field worker of more than 20 years, picks up his story at the moment he slips back into his body on a canyon rock while still being in heaven, two places at once with two minds. Greg describes opening what he calls the eyes of light, seeing God in everything alive, and realizing heaven is right here. He then asks God the question he carried since his childhood prayers, "Where were you?", and shares the answer he says he got. Greg tells what happened when his highly religious brother came over to check on him and heard God's voice coming from inside him, why he believes people in scripture trembled before God, and how his experience led to his health research. The conversation covers what Greg says is in our drinking water, why he uses carbon distillation, molecular hydrogen, Lourdes, Masaru Emoto's water memory work, the medications and microplastics he says end up in the water supply, and where to find his protocols and videos.  In This Episode •      After lying in God for an hour or more, Greg started to open his eyes and slipped back into his body on the rock while still being in heaven. He says it felt like having two minds. The one on Earth was completely still, and he opened what he calls the eyes of light. He saw God as the light in everything alive, the canyon, the rocks, the trees, the river, and realized heaven is right here. He came away convinced the human body is a temple that should be respected, and that his lifelong sadness came from feeling disconnected from God, not from a lack of money, cars or success.   •      Greg got to ask the question he'd carried since he was a kid who prayed constantly and never got help: "Where were you?" He admits he was angry and thought God had better have a good answer. God showed him a vision of watching him pray as a child and told him, "I couldn't interfere, for if I had, you would have never found me." Greg says the pain of not having God created the burning desire and gravity that pulled him back, and compares it to the prodigal son. He never questioned God again.   •      Greg's brother, who is highly religious, had been watching from far away and came over because Greg had been lying still for so long. Greg could hear God's voice and his brother couldn't. As his brother stood to leave, Greg's hand grabbed his wrist with what felt like infinite strength, the sound got louder, and his brother's vision went completely dark in full daylight. His brother tried to run and was told there was no place to run. Greg told him not to be afraid, and when he spoke, his brother's sight came back. Greg tilted his head back, the sound came out of him, and his brother realized it was coming from inside him. Greg believes this is why people in scripture trembled before God: the light reveals everything in your soul in one second.   •      Greg explains that he named his channel Uprising 144K after the 144,000 beings of light in the Bible, and that he has spent over a decade sharing what he learned, largely about health. After more than 20 years in the medical field, he says his own heart condition was confirmed healed by his cardiologist without surgery. He shares a story of a man with severe gout who followed his protocol and, Greg says, was symptom free after four months, and a surgeon who measured his own results. Greg stresses he isn't making medical claims and that he only shares what he personally uses. Everything starts, he says, with clean water.   •      Greg shows a third-party lab report where forever chemicals (PFAS) read zero after carbon distillation, and says he learned the method by watching how creation cleans water: the sun lifts it, it leaves impurities behind, and it comes back as rain or snow. He says some water filter companies have faced lawsuits and some filters can make water worse, and mentions mypurewater.com with the code uprising144k. He then moves to molecular hydrogen, saying the Japanese found it in the waters of Lourdes, that more than 2,000 studies exist, and that he calls it the source of life. He covers Masaru Emoto's water memory work, a Japanese father who built a hydrogen device for his seriously ill daughter with help from companies like Toyota and Yamaha, and why oxygen oxidizes while hydrogen acts as a tiny antioxidant that can reach the mitochondria. That device is sold through holyhydrogen.com.   •      Greg says his channel has been shadowbanned and throttled, so he asks listeners to follow him on Rumble, Instagram and X as backups, and he shares his email, [email protected], and points people to myhydrogenprotocol.com, where his protocols are a one-time fee. He and Rye plan another conversation. Before wrapping, Greg says children are hurt most by water contaminants, and that medications people take end up in the water supply, naming birth control, antibiotics, painkillers and antidepressants, plus microplastics. Rye closes by saying alternative medicine may be what we need, Western medicine is great for broken bones and surgery, and everyone should stay vigilant about what they're fed and given as medicine.   Best Line of the Night "I couldn't interfere. For if I had, you would have never found me." Greg, relaying what he says God told him about his childhood prayers. Near Death Experiencer and Whistleblower Part 1: What He Saw on the Other Side and What He Brought Back
2026/10/23
Greg, the creator behind the Uprising 144K channel and a former medical field worker of more than 20 years, shares his near-death experience (NDE) in full detail. It starts on a giant rock beside a loud canyon river, where his heartbeat kept skipping and stopping, and it leads through a dark corridor, a being of light he now believes was the Holy Spirit, a trip through stars he calls doors, a council that told him they'd been waiting for him, and a meeting with God that he describes as a cosmic river. Greg explains how he ended up in two places at once, lying on the rock and standing in heaven, and what happened when his highly religious brother came over to check on him and heard God's voice. From there the conversation moves to the research Greg says followed: what he says is in our drinking water, why he uses carbon distillation, the molecular hydrogen work that earned him the name hydrogen man, and the Essene Gospel of Peace, a book he says describes his experience almost exactly. Greg also finally gets an answer to a question he carried since his childhood prayers, "Where were you?", and shares where to find his protocols and videos. In This Episode •     Rye opens by asking Greg to walk through his near-death experience. Greg explains it didn't start with the NDE itself. At 18 he had an overdose that was meant to end his life, and the ER doctor called it an absolute miracle that he survived. It left him with severe heart damage, and a cardiologist later told him his heart was weakened and he likely didn't have a ton of time. In the ER that night, Greg says he saw beings of light standing beside him, speaking in one voice and repeating "you'll never do it again." He didn't believe them then, and at almost 50 he says they turned out to be right.   •     Years later, on a trip to a canyon with a few people, Greg wandered off alone and ended up lying on a giant rock beside a river so loud he couldn't have heard anyone yelling at him. He lay there for almost four hours, getting so quiet in his mind that he could hear his own heartbeat. Because of his heart condition, it skipped, paused and sometimes flatlined, and each time it stopped, Greg says he felt himself drifting somewhere deeper. He let it happen.   •     The dark corridor from his earlier overdose opened again. Greg compares it to walking through the valley of the shadow of death. There was no light ahead, only a pull like drifting down a river, and a presence that wanted him afraid. Greg says it knew everything about him, every fear and which strings to pull. It started with distractions and temptations, then escalated to his worst fears, bugs crawling over his body and into his nose and ears. Greg says the other side runs on emotion, so he stayed calm, let it all happen, and watched his body decompose into the earth before everything went black for ten or twenty seconds.   •     Then came a burst of white light and a being Greg describes as female, though he says there's no sex on the other side. He now believes it was the Holy Spirit. He felt everything she felt, he says, and everything inside him was exposed, like being naked in his emotions. The first thing he blurted out was "I want to be like you." She answered, "You are me and I am you." Greg argued, calling himself trash and her perfect, but says she didn't need to respond. She held him like a cosmic mother, and he says he felt a healing he'd never known. A Bible scholar friend later pointed out that scripture refers to the Holy Spirit in female terms, which Greg ties to the white dove at Jesus's baptism.   •     As she led him out into the heavens, Greg felt a tether at his belly button, tied to his body and to every attachment in his life. He says it looked like a spiral, like DNA or a rope, and that love and fear were bound together in it. A choice came over him: go back or go with her. His emotions said go back to the people he loved, but a flash of logic reminded him he'd wanted out for a long time. He says deciding to let go felt like jumping off a cliff, and that he thinks this is the point where people can be tricked through love. Rye connects this to Colossians 3, which he'd read at a men's Bible study the night before.   •     Once he let go, Greg says the being took him to a star, and the stars turned out to be doorways. They traveled at what he calls borderline violent speed, hopping from star to star while he merged with her at each turn. He ties this to a Psalms verse about the sun as a bridal chamber, which his Bible scholar friend had never noticed before. Years later Greg found the Essene Gospel of Peace, a book said to be translated from ancient writings by a Vatican archives translator, and says it describes stars as vaults that need the spirit to open them, matching what he saw. He admits plenty of people criticize the book and says he's a skeptic himself, but that nothing else he's found described his experience so accurately.   •     The journey ended at a gathering of beings that felt like a council, and oddly, like a dinner. They spoke in one voice and the first thing they said was "We've been waiting for you." Information about his life came flooding in, including who he was before he was conceived and the promises he made before birth. They showed him the womb, where he felt warmth, no hunger, no pain and a peace he'd forgotten. Greg explains why we don't remember it, because the body and brain aren't developed yet, and shares his own opinion that the spirit enters at the first breath. Peace is now his favorite emotion, and he believes the entity in the dark corridor was trying to rob him of it because fear is how you get controlled.   •     The council made sounds that blended in the center of their circle and opened what Greg could only call a door. The beings told him it was being opened for him, and he walked through to meet God. Greg describes a being too large for an ocean to compare to, moving like a river and like wind, with the energy of the law is the law, and a voice like the sound of many waters. He believes the beginning was sound more than word. He walked into God like a baptism, leaned back, and says information poured through him, every bit of it an answer. God told him, "There are no questions here, only answers," and Greg lay there for an hour or more.   •     This is the moment Greg is in two places at once. He started to open his eyes and slipped back into his body on the rock while still being in heaven, which felt like having two minds. The one on Earth was completely still, and he says he opened what he calls the eyes of light. He saw God as the light in everything alive, the canyon, the rocks, the trees, and realized heaven is right here. SWAT Officer Reveals His Scariest Bigfoot and Dogman Encounters
2026/10/20
Drewski, a former law enforcement officer and five-year SWAT veteran who now hosts the Cryptid Warfare podcast, breaks down his years running a cryptid research and investigation team through the mountains of Tennessee and Alabama, hunting Bigfoot, Dogman, and whatever else is actually out there. Drewski traces his path from a childhood spent in the library reading about Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster to a 2011 SWAT manhunt in the Colorado Rockies, where his team heard something pacing them on two legs that even his captain ordered scrubbed from the official report. The conversation moves through a 2015 sponsored Bigfoot expedition in Mammoth Cave where infrasound nearly dropped him to the ground and thermal cameras caught an eight-foot creature running up a mountainside, a tense night in eastern Tennessee where his team fired warning shots at a tree as unseen creatures circled their camp, and a cave investigation tied to a local legend of three rogue mountain witches. Drewski also details a deafening, unexplained roar that hovered directly over his camp in Alabama's Bankhead National Forest for five full minutes, and lays out his theory that Bigfoot, Dogman, and similar cryptids fall into three categories: physical and government-made, spiritual, or interdimensional. He closes with hard-earned safety advice for anyone getting into cryptid research themselves. In This Episode •      Drewski, a former law enforcement officer who spent seven years on the job and five of those on SWAT, now hosts the Cryptid Warfare podcast and runs a cryptid research and investigation team. His interest started in the library as a kid reading about Bigfoot, Mothman, and the Loch Ness Monster, long before a career in law enforcement put him back in the field.   •      The turning point came around 2011, when Drewski's SWAT team was sent into the Colorado Rockies on a manhunt for an escaped convict. Moving up the mountain in formation, Drewski and another teammate both reported hearing something pacing them on two legs on opposite sides of the group, a sound distinct from any four legged animal. When the team stopped moving, whatever it was stopped too, taking two audible extra steps before going silent, and their captain later ordered the detail scrubbed from the official incident report entirely.   •      A friend from the area later told Drewski what locals called it: a wood booger, regional slang for a Sasquatch type creature. The encounter and the word sent Drewski back into research, and by 2016 he and a friend had launched Cryptid Warfare as a podcast, built around their shared interest in cryptids and the biblical narrative around fallen angels. After a hiatus for scheduling and family reasons, Drewski relaunched it around 2019 and has run it since, describing it now as a judgment free space for people to share their experiences.   •      In 2015, Drewski joined a sponsored Bigfoot expedition in Mammoth Cave National Park in Tennessee as security for a group of researchers and journalists. Driving back to camp around 3 a.m., the group found an abandoned vehicle with its doors open and belongings scattered on the ground. While checking the vehicle, Drewski felt a deep, guttural growl as physical pressure, like standing against a concert subwoofer, and nearly passed out. Infrared footage caught a roughly eight foot, five and a half foot wide creature sprinting up the mountainside, and park rangers shut the area down the next morning as a crime scene, citing people who had gone missing nearby.   •      Years later, Drewski's team responded to a woman in Mountain City, Tennessee who reported homeless people going missing near her property, along with mutilated animals, including a half-eaten goat and a calf thrown into a tree. After months of preparation, three members of the team camped near her land with perimeter trip alarms set around the site. Overnight, the alarms went off on all sides in sequence, pebbles were thrown at the campers, and one teammate became physically ill after hearing a close growl, a reaction Drewski attributes to infrasound.   •      As the activity intensified, Drewski fired several warning shots into a tree to scare off whatever was circling the camp, aiming at a solid backstop rather than into the open woods. The next morning, the team followed broken branches and a wide, trampled path up the mountain to the Appalachian Trail before it disappeared. They told local law enforcement and the homeowner that the area showed strong signs of cryptid activity, and recommended she treat her property with anointing oil and cayenne pepper to help deter it.   •      Separately, Drewski's team investigated a property near a cave in Tennessee after a resident left a tobacco offering at its entrance and, according to Drewski, inadvertently opened something up. The homeowners reported their cabin being shaken and clawed, cameras being physically turned, and chickens being killed, while a neighbor who saw repeated six to seven foot shadow figures moved out entirely. Local research tied the area to a legend of three rogue mountain witches sealed inside the cave centuries earlier. Exploring the cave themselves, Drewski's team found bones, strange carvings, and a shadow figure that ducked around a corner, confirmed by multiple team members, before they chose to back out rather than corner whatever it was.   •      In Alabama's Bankhead National Forest, widely known for Dogman reports, Drewski's team camped overnight with cryptid researcher Jessica Jones after hearing secondhand accounts of growls coming from very different heights, including from up in a tree. On a later trip to the same area, Drewski and a teammate were the only two awake around 2:45 a.m. when an intensely loud, jet engine like roar seemed to hover directly overhead for about five minutes before cutting off instantly, a sound the rest of the sleeping team never heard. The next day the group found juvenile sized footprints, seven to eight inches long, near their camp.   •      Drewski breaks down what he believes these creatures actually are, sorting his years of field experience into three overlapping categories: physical and government engineered, spiritual, or interdimensional. He ties the physical theory to secret research programs and Genesis six, the interdimensional theory to hollow earth and portal concepts, and the spiritual theory to accounts from former Satanists who describe using entities like Dogman as protectors or weapons. He also connects the phenomenon to biblical end times prophecy, specifically Luke 21:11 and Revelation 6:8.   •      Drewski closes with practical advice for anyone getting into cryptid research themselves: never go out with fewer than five people, train extensively with your gear before you need it, tell someone exactly where you are going and when you will be back, and do as much research as possible before setting foot in the field.   Best Line of the Night "They're spiritual, they're government-made, or they're interdimensional." Drewski, on the three categories he puts every cryptid encounter into. UFO Secrets & Disclosure with Cheryl Costa | Codex Origins
2026/10/18
Codex Origins re-release: UFO researcher, journalist, and author Cheryl Costa goes through 20 years of UFO sighting data, 167,632 reports from 2001 to 2020, broken down by state, county, and ZIP code. Cheryl explains which ZIP code leads the country (85001 in downtown Phoenix), why Los Angeles County ranks number one overall, why most UFO sightings are reported between 6 and 11 pm, and why she believes only about 1 in 257 people actually report what they see. She also lays out the five drivers behind where sightings happen, from population to broadband access, plus the influencers she ties to bodies of water, geological faults, and toxic waste sites. Cheryl is the author of the UFO Sightings Desk Reference books with co-author Linda Miller Costa, a former UFO columnist for the Syracuse New Times, and spent 32 years at Lockheed Martin. In this conversation she also covers a 17-page report she sent to a congressman’s office, a CIA scientific division paper from around 1950 that already spotted the summer pattern, and her own theory on how visitors might actually get here. This is a Codex Origins episode, an early conversation from the Codega’s Codex of Curiosities vault, back with remastered audio. New Codex Origins episodes land every Sunday. In This Episode •           Cheryl says she has talked to about 150 major newspapers in the country and none would publish her sighting numbers, because they told her it would scare everybody. She talks about her first book, the UFO Sightings Desk Reference: United States of America 2001-2015, and the New York Times story that ran on April 24 and 25, 2017. She also tells how she flunked geometry in high school, then taught herself algebra and trig in her late 20s after making a mistake balancing her checkbook, and ended up publishing a book of statistics. •           Cheryl walks through a CIA scientific division paper from around 1950 that plotted about 130 sightings by month and wrote “summer madness” in the margins. Her own data, with far more points, shows the same peak in the northern states in June, July, and August, a flat line in the Deep South with a dip in the summer heat, and February as the worst month in the country. She also covers April 16, 2008, when Indiana logged 25 sightings in one day against its usual three or four a week, the Kokomo lights clusters, and a Texas spike across about 12 communities that never got press. •           The pink book covers 2001 to 2020, weighs two and a half pounds, and ranks all 50 states down to the county level. Cheryl explains why it is bright fuchsia (so you can spot it from an aircraft, and because two women published it), who asked her to testify in Washington in 2019, and the congressional hearings push tied to a spending bill. She says she sent a 17-page technical report to a congressman’s office and has heard nothing but silence since, and that she may end up testifying before Congress. The book is dedicated to Coral Lorenzen, whose group APRO came before MUFON. •           Downtown Phoenix, ZIP code 85001, is the number one ZIP code in the country for UFO reports in the 20-year period, with 1,500 more sightings than the next closest ZIP code. Maricopa County ranks second among counties, and Los Angeles County ranks first, even though downtown Los Angeles itself only ranks around number 25. Cheryl also explains why TV producers keep asking her for a hot spot where they can park camera crews on a rooftop and wait, and why it is not that easy. •           Cheryl names the drivers behind sighting numbers in every state: population, temperate weather, leisure time, hours of darkness, and an observer’s access to broadband. About 70% of sightings happen between 6 and 11 pm, and about 60% of those fall between 8:30 and 10:30 at night. Of roughly 3,530 counties, 105 reported no UFOs at all in the 20 years, and she says mostly rural farming states lack the broadband that makes reporting easy. North and South Dakota rank 49th and 50th. •           Then come the influencers, which only some places have. Cheryl says states touching the Great Lakes logged thousands of sightings, and that Florida’s 1,200 miles of coastline against Texas at about 450 explains a lot. Her colleague Tom Conwell pinned sightings on a giant wall map and found they seem to cluster around Superfund toxic waste sites. She also points to geological faults, calderas, and volcanoes, South Carolina earthquakes lining up with the state’s top sighting counties, military sites with nuclear weapons technology, the Navy fleet, high media coverage that sparks more reports, and the generational effect, where grandparents’ stories of the Battle of Los Angeles or the Phoenix Lights send families outside to look up. •           Cheryl explains how she and Linda built all 50 state editions, each titled UFOs in (State) and Where to Find Them. They published them in about six weeks between Halloween and the winter solstice, starting with Ohio, and color coded each cover by census region: powder blue for the Northeast, orange for the lower South, green for the Midwest, and purple for the West. She credits a college course in methods engineering for helping her organize the work. •           Cheryl runs the big numbers: 167,632 reports from 2001 to 2020 works out to about 8,400 a year, 700 a month, 161 a week, and 23 a day. She then asks what happens if you throw most of them away. If only 30% are real, that is about 210 a month. If 1% are real, it is still around seven a month. Her own swag is about 5%. She also explains how she and Linda estimated that only about 1 in 257 people report what they see, which lands near 43 million, and how that lines up with the Gallup figure of 16.74% of adult Americans saying they have seen a UFO. •           Cheryl gives her own take on how visitors could get here, pointing to recent work coming out of the CERN laboratories that she says could mean a 20 minute trip into the fifth dimensional bulk covering a 50,000 year journey. She talks about interdimensional travel, whether the UFO flurry that began after the 1945 nuclear tests came from outer space or inner space, and why she thinks the hidden material sits under atomic energy rules that never expire. •           Cheryl shares her own history with the subject: seeing her first UFO at about age 12 in 1965 with her parents in upstate New York, a sighting on Christmas Eve 1971 at Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam, and her service in the military. She tells how a government review of her security clearance played out after she publicly came out as transgender, and how she answered it. She says she has been an experiencer since around age five or six, that things still move around her home, and that she no longer sees it as the negative experience she once did. She also covers her seven years writing the New York Skies column, which ran 238 articles, and her move to the Roswell Daily Record in 2023. Best Line of the Night “Don’t you think it’s press worthy that we’ve got 210 starships a month, every month for the last 240 months, coming to the United States?” (Cheryl Costa, on what happens if just 30% of the reported sightings are real) Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/codega-s-codex-of-curiosities--6244705/support. 📬Inquiries: [email protected] 📺 YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channe... 💻Website: www.codegascodex.com Support the Show! 🛒Codega's Store: https://codegas-bodega-shop.fourthwall.com/ 📦Amazon: https://www.amazon.com.mx/hz/w... 🪙🔘🪙🔘🪙🔘🪙🔘🪙 Noble Gold Investments Link: http://noblegoldinvestments.com/Codegascodex Affiliate Disclosure: We may earn a commission if you use our affiliate link. Yeshua, Enoch, Archangel Michael, Sama'el, The Divine Council Story Behind the Toys
2026/10/16
The divine council worldview, the Book of Enoch, and the Elohim of the ancient Near East get a full walkthrough from Jeff, a former youth minister and college minister who spent 13 years in ministry before building a toy company around what he'd learned. Jeff traces his journey from a high school student's request for a study on angels and demons, to two weeks of searching through Jewish, Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Muslim traditions, to discovering Dr. Michael Heiser and The Unseen Realm. He breaks down Psalm 82, where God takes his place in the divine council and Elohim singular stands among Elohim plural, why Yahweh is "species unique," and why Baal, Zeus, Thor, and other gods look like the same figures rebranded across cultures. The conversation moves through Enoch, the eyewitness narrator of the story Jeff is writing and the figure later Christian tradition knows as Metatron, the scholar of heaven, then through the opening chapters of Genesis, including who Cain was afraid of and why Jeff reads Genesis as epic poetry. Jeff also shares the Chronicles of the Elohim action figures from Kaleo Legends, including Enoch, Yeshua, Mikha'el, Sama'el, and Azra'el, the glorified body design behind them, the 42 more figures he has planned, and the pre-Adam war among the Elohim that his story is built around. In This Episode •      Jeff spent 13 years as a youth minister and college minister, after a career as a concept artist and character designer in the game industry. When he left ministry he went back to art and took a prototyping job at Mezco, a job he loved, until he realized none of the toys they were making carried any real value for him. The toy he wanted to make didn't exist, and he had learned enough about the process to start his own company.   •      The divine council started for Jeff with one of his best high school students, who walked into his office and asked for a study on angels and demons because nobody wanted to talk about them in depth. Jeff wasn't sure there was enough in the Bible to fill a month of lessons, so he asked for time and spent two weeks searching through ancient Jewish tradition, Catholic and Eastern Orthodox sources, and some Muslim traditions.   •      He then found a podcast hosted by a Messianic Jew, where the guest was Dr. Michael Heiser. Jeff remembers thinking Heiser was either insane or onto something core he had never seen before. He spent the next couple of weeks buying The Unseen Realm and Heiser's angels and demons book, binging the Naked Bible podcast, and deciding that Heiser's understanding of ancient Hebrew, and of reading the text with the ancient Israelite in mind, was legitimate. He had grown up in the church, walked away for a while, and found that everything was the same when he came back. If there was a deeper layer, he wanted to know what it was, so he started studying Hebrew and teaching divine council worldview material at the church where he worked.   •      Jeff gives a short version of the divine council worldview. In Psalm 82, God takes his place in the divine council and renders judgment among the gods, which puts Elohim singular in the presence of Elohim plural. That was a big problem for the monotheistic worldview, and Jeff says he is still monotheistic. In his view Yahweh sits at the head of the council and asks lesser Elohim to assist in creation, and while Yahweh is Elohim too, there are no Elohim like him. He is "species unique," and the Bible strips the lesser gods of his attributes, with some staying loyal and others rebelling, just like humanity.   •      Jeff points to the creation account, where God says "let us make them in our image" and then the very next verse has God alone creating. The traditional church says that's the Trinity, but Jeff says that doesn't fit what Moses would have believed, who held what he calls the two Yahweh point of view, an ancient Jewish idea. He adds that Job describes the divine council present at the foundation of creation, singing and celebrating with God, which means the Elohim were created before the physical world. They aren't eternal like Yahweh, but they've been here since the opening days of creation.   •      Rye asks whether the Elohim could be read as the gods of other pantheons. Jeff says yes, and uses Baal, the storm god tied to thunder and lightning, as the best example, then points out that Zeus and Thor fill the same role in other cultures. He believes these gods have been around a very long time and rebrand every century or so, resetting under new names once people figure out who they are and stop worshiping them. Jeff stresses that he's saying "likely," and expects a scholar somewhere may email him about it. Rye adds Anubis, the dog-headed guide to the underworld, plus Aztec and Mayan examples, and the idea that each of these gods may rule over an area with lesser gods under it.   •      When Jeff and his team started designing characters around the divine council, they wanted the story told as an eyewitness testimony, like a biblical narrative. Enoch was the natural choice to be that eyewitness and co-host of the first story. In later Christian tradition Enoch becomes Metatron, the scholar of heaven, who observes all things and takes notes. Enoch and Yeshua are the two central protagonists, joined by Michael, Sama'el, and Azra'el. Sama'el is the antagonist who in later Jewish tradition is the serpent in the garden, the nahash, and Azra'el keeps the watchers and rebellious Elohim in Sheol and the abyss below it. Jeff uses the Hebrew names on purpose and admits some people won't know how to pronounce them.   •      The story Jeff wants to tell first goes back before Adam, to the first several days of creation when the Creator makes the Elohim for a purpose. He wants to show what those Elohim were doing before humanity, and what a rebellion looks like when it's only gods fighting, some loyal to the one true God and some not. He is writing that story alongside the figures. He describes it as inspired by ancient Near East mythologies, drawing on ancient Judaism, Mesopotamia, Christianity, and Egypt, and says the percentages are flipped from Narnia or Lord of the Rings: about 85% biblical mythology with 15 to 20% fantasy wrapped around it. It is not a story to teach in Sunday school, he says, but one to enjoy.   •      Jeff reads Genesis as epic poetry rather than eyewitness testimony, because Moses wrote it after the Exodus. That means there is a tremendous amount going on in the opening chapters that nobody has any way of knowing. He asks how long Adam and Eve were in the garden, and then asks about Cain, who after killing Abel says someone will kill him. Cain is one of the first six people the Bible tells us about, so who are the other people? Jeff's take is that it's possible God made more people but found favor with Adam, the same way he found favor with Noah, Moses, and Abraham and Sarah. Rye adds that he's heard Adam and Eve had many more children than Cain and Abel.   •      The first five figures in the Chronicles of the Elohim line are Enoch, Yeshua, Michael, Sama'el, and Azra'el, with 42 more planned. Jeff built the design on Paul's idea of glorified bodies. A body that doesn't age or get hungry is close to immortal, so he made the armor the body itself, a second skin that flexes like the Winter Soldier's arm, which can be damaged but also replaced and repaired. The figures stand about seven to seven and a half inches tall. Next up are giants at 10 inches, with Gilgamesh the one Jeff most wants to make, then Valkyries, Egyptian and Greek gods with an elongated twist, and a Seraphim design that could be the most expensive toy he has ever worked on.   •      The company name Kaleo is a Greek word meaning to be called or summoned by your god or gods, which fit how Jeff felt leaving Mezco. He started the company with his brother years ago, planning video games, and a trademark dispute with a company in China forced a rename, so he asked his brother if he was using Kaleo and took it. Jeff says there are no Christian toy companies making anything for older audiences beyond toddler figures, and that Tolkien and C.S. Lewis inspired him because they were bold enough to put their faith into a fantasy narrative. The balance is hard, because catering to Christians risks losing secular collectors and the reverse. The first five figures are up for pre-order at kaleolegends.toys to help finish production.   Best Line of the Night "These gods have been around for a very, very long time, they just rebrand every century or however long." Are You Part Nephilim? The Bloodline Trait Nobody Talks About, with Ryan Pelton
2026/10/13
Ryan, host of The Ryan Files and a 30 year professional Elvis entertainer based in Branson, joins the show to break down his theory that Nephilim bloodlines and traits may still be present in people today. Ryan explains how a personal expedition to Peru, exploring sites like Sacsayhuaman and Machu Picchu, pushed him to start his own podcast digging into ancient history, giants, and the Book of Enoch. The conversation covers the Genesis 6 account of the Watchers and their offspring, a theory that demons are the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim seeking bodies to inhabit, and a striking pattern linking RH negative blood, taller stature, red hair, and green or blue eyes to reported modern day alien abduction targets, traits Ryan shares himself. Ryan also discusses deep underground military bases and the missing 21 trillion dollars reported by Catherine Austin Fitts as part of a larger picture he believes is being prepared behind the scenes. Ryan hosts The Ryan Files, where he's interviewed researchers including Gary Wayne, Timothy Alberino, and Dr. Michael Lake. In This Episode •      Ryan hosts The Ryan Files and spent 30 years as a professional entertainer, including performing as an Elvis impersonator, before COVID era soul searching pulled him back toward his Christian upbringing and eventually into ancient history research. He still performs seven shows a week out of Branson while running the podcast on the side.   •      The turning point came during a personal expedition to Peru, where Ryan explored sites like Sacsayhuaman, Machu Picchu, and several glacial and archaeological locations, and found himself unable to shake the question of how these structures were actually built and what that means for accepted ancient history. That trip, paired with a persistent feeling he describes as a nudge from God, eventually pushed him into starting his own show despite his initial reluctance.   •      Ryan frames the Bible as, in his view, the most accurate history book ever written, arguing that the Genesis 6 account of angelic Watchers descending on Mount Hermon and producing offspring with human women describes a real physical conflict, not just a spiritual one. He credits conversations with researchers like Gary Wayne with reshaping how seriously he takes this material.   •      The conversation turns to a theory Ryan holds firmly: that demons are the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim killed off after the flood, described in the Book of Enoch as spiritual orphans, neither fully human nor fully angelic, left to roam the earth and actively seeking bodies to inhabit, a pattern he connects to New Testament accounts like the demon Legion casting itself into a herd of pigs.   •      Ryan raises an uncomfortable theological question along the way: if the Nephilim were part angelic and part human, were they ever actually redeemable through Christ's sacrifice, which was made for humanity specifically. He doesn't claim a definitive answer, but uses the question to frame a broader theory about a spiritual army being assembled for something still to come.   •      That theory extends into modern day alien abduction reports, where Ryan points out a recurring physical profile among reported abductees: RH negative blood, taller than average height, fair skin, and red, blonde, green, or blue coloring, traits he shares himself as someone with RH negative blood, red hair, green eyes, and a height over six feet. He floats the idea of a deliberate breeding program aimed at maximizing a lingering angelic bloodline in the general population.   •      Ryan also touches on deep underground military bases, high speed rail systems connecting them, and the reported 21 trillion dollars in unaccounted government spending raised by Catherine Austin Fitts, tying it all into his broader belief that something is being prepared behind the scenes ahead of major events described in scripture.   •      Ryan wraps up by directing listeners to The Ryan Files on YouTube, where a start here playlist includes his conversations with Jamie Walden, Timothy Alberino, Dr. Michael Lake, Derek Gilbert, and Gary Wayne as a good entry point into the show.   Best Line of the Night "Demons need bodies." Ryan, laying out the core of his theory on what demons actually are. Are There Ruins on Mars? George Haas Investigates a Nuclear War on Mars And The Real Star Wars
2026/10/09
Researcher George Haas, founder of the Cydonia Institute, breaks down over 30 years of studying NASA and ESA imagery of Mars, arguing the planet holds evidence of an advanced, ancient civilization wiped out by nuclear war. George walks through the decades-long controversy surrounding the Face on Mars, first photographed in 1976 and re-imaged by NASA in 1996, and details astrophysicist Dr. John Brandenburg's research into Xenon 129, a chemical signature for nuclear explosions detected in Mars's atmosphere since the Viking missions, pointing to two suspected blast sites roughly a million years old. The conversation covers a remote viewer's decades-old account of pyramids and tall, elongated-headed beings on Mars, comparisons between structures found on both the Moon and Mars, and a detailed formation nicknamed the Parrot, backed by published science papers citing 22 points of anatomical accuracy. George co-authored the Cydonia Codex and the Martian Codex, and his current book, The Great Architects of Mars: Evidence for the Lost Civilization of the Red Planet, is available now. In This Episode •      George Haas spent the 1980s as a working sculptor showing pieces in New York and New Jersey galleries before a single NASA press conference redirected his entire career. He graduated high school in 1976, the same year NASA's Viking mission photographed a mesa formation in the Cydonia region of Mars that bore an unmistakable resemblance to a face, and George has spent the decades since studying that formation and the wider Martian surface in extraordinary detail.   •      George walks through the twenty year gap between the original 1976 Viking photo and NASA's 1996 re-imaging with the Mars Global Surveyor, describing the second image as a public letdown since it was released unprocessed, fueling a controversy he covered in his first book with co-author William Saunders. That renewed public interest is what pulled George fully into Mars research, eventually leading him to found the Cydonia Institute in 1991.   •      The conversation moves into the research of Dr. John Brandenburg, an astrophysicist who has published multiple papers and books on Xenon 129, a chemical isotope recognized as a telltale signature of nuclear explosions since America's own nuclear testing in the 1940s. George explains that NASA's own atmospheric instruments, carried aboard Mariner 9, the Viking landers, and the Mars Global Surveyor, have consistently detected unusually high levels of Xenon 129 in the Martian atmosphere, which Brandenburg's research ties to two above ground nuclear blasts, one over the Cydonia region and another over the Utopia region, roughly a million years ago.   •      George brings up a separate account from a well known remote viewer who, decades before more recent ancient astronaut theories became popular, described seeing pyramids on Mars and tall, elongated headed beings during a session, along with references to a conflict involving a mysterious sixth planet.   •      He draws a broader parallel to how ancient cultures like the Sumerians, credited with founding mathematics and the sciences later inherited across the region, are taken seriously for their technical achievements while their own writings about the Anunnaki are dismissed outright as myth, arguing that selective belief doesn't hold up.   •      George spends time comparing specific formations he's identified on both the Moon and Mars, arguing certain structures share enough similarity across both bodies that they're unlikely to be coincidental or purely the product of erosion and lighting.   •      One of the more detailed formations George covers is nicknamed the Parrot, located in an area he calls the RG Basin, theorized to have once been a port city beside a body of water. George says the formation has been independently reviewed by veterinarians and covered in two published science papers citing 22 separate points of anatomical correctness, far beyond what he'd expect from simple pareidolia, since cloud-like silhouettes typically lack secondary details like eyes, joints, or toes.   •      George closes out directing listeners to the Cydonia Institute, where all of his and his colleagues' peer-reviewed science papers are available to read for free, alongside videos and further research. His current book, The Great Architects of Mars: Evidence for the Lost Civilization of the Red Planet, is available through Bear and Company, a Simon and Schuster imprint, with a Kindle edition that includes embedded high resolution images of the formations discussed.   Best Line of the Night "Since Viking, they've known something happened on Mars. Were There Giants Before AND After the Flood? The Nephilim and What Followed
2026/10/06
Returning guest Bennett from Broadcasting Seeds breaks down his new book, The Second Incursion: Fallen Beings, Giants, and What Walks Among Us Still, arguing the war against giants described in Genesis 6 didn't end with Noah's flood, but restarted after the Tower of Babel. Bennett explains the bed of Og of Bashan, a Raphaim king whose iron bed measured over 13 feet long, walks through the difference between Nephilim and Raphaim, and lays out a theory that 70 divine beings were assigned to the nations scattered at Babel, some of whom went rogue and repeated the same corruption described before the flood. The conversation covers a theory that ziggurats and pyramids built across the ancient world functioned as an attempted gate between heaven and earth, worldwide traditions of hidden people from Sasquatch to the fae, and how Neanderthal and Denisovan DNA might connect to this same ancient bloodline. Bennett's book, The Second Incursion, is available now. In This Episode •      Returning guest Bennett from Broadcasting Seeds joins the show to unpack his new book, which tackles a question he says most churches never touch: what if the flood didn't actually end the war with the giants? Bennett opens by explaining the bed of Og of Bashan, one of the last surviving Raphaim kings, whose iron bedframe is described in Deuteronomy as roughly 13 to 14 feet long, a detail he argues was deliberately emphasized to convey both its size and its unusual iron construction.   •      Bennett lays out his own working distinction between Nephilim and Raphaim, defining Nephilim as giants that existed before the flood and Raphaim as their post flood counterparts, while stressing that this is his own synthesis pulled from researchers like Gary Wayne, Chuck Missler, and Michael Heiser rather than a settled consensus.   •      The core of Bennett's second incursion theory starts at the Tower of Babel: after God scatters the nations and confuses their languages, Bennett argues that 70 divine beings, or Elohim, were assigned authority over those newly scattered nations, with Israel reserved for God himself. He believes at least some of these beings eventually went rogue in their own territories, effectively repeating the corruption of Genesis 6 on a smaller, more localized scale.   •      Rye and Bennett discuss a theory that ziggurats and pyramids built independently across cultures worldwide weren't simply religious monuments, but attempts to construct a literal gate or portal between heaven and earth, mirroring the ambition behind the original Tower of Babel.   •      The conversation turns to the subtitle of Bennett's book, which claims some of these beings still walk among us today. Bennett connects this to worldwide traditions of hidden people, from Sasquatch and Dogman sightings to older folklore like the fae and the Tuatha De Danann, arguing these separate traditions may be describing overlapping phenomena.   •      Bennett also brings the conversation into modern genetics, raising the mystery of exactly what Neanderthals and Denisovans actually were, and floating the theory that traces of Nephilim or Raphaim bloodlines could be part of the explanation, noting that most humans alive today carry small amounts of this ancient DNA without knowing what to make of it.   •      Bennett closes out by introducing his book directly: The Second Incursion: Fallen Beings, Giants, and What Walks Among Us Still, which covers Genesis 6, the second incursion after Babel, biblical references to corruption spreading beyond humanity to animals, and ties in the DNA evidence discussed earlier in the episode. He's already got a follow-up book in the works digging further into the genetic angle.   Best Line of the Night "What they're trying to do is build a gate between heaven and earth." The Book of Enoch's Forbidden Fallen Angelic Pact and The Second Wave of Nephilim
2026/09/29
Biblical scholar Cody, who studied at Moody Bible Institute, joins the show to unpack what the Bible actually says about giants, the Nephilim, and the days of old and also afterward from Genesis 6. Cody explains two competing traditions for how Nephilim bloodlines reappeared after Noah's flood, breaks down the divine council worldview and the angelic hierarchy described in the Book of Enoch, and connects biblical figures like Goliath and Nimrod to this same giant lineage. The conversation covers the Watchers' pact on Mount Hermon, Azazel's role in the wilderness scapegoat tradition, elongated skulls and whether Egypt's pharaohs carried Nephilim blood, and why ancient civilizations worldwide built ziggurats and climbed mountains to meet their gods. Cody runs Logic of God. In This Episode •      Cody, a Moody Bible Institute graduate who has spent years studying second temple literature and ancient texts most people have never heard of, joins the show to dig into what the Bible actually says about the Nephilim and giants. He explains that biblical authors often assumed their audience already understood references that modern readers pass over entirely, including the strange line in Genesis 6 about giants being in the land in those days, and also afterward.   •      That phrase, and also afterward, opens up two competing explanations for how giant bloodlines survived Noah's flood. One Jewish tradition holds that some Nephilim clung to the outside of the ark, though Cody notes this idea gets little support elsewhere in scripture. The more developed explanation follows what's known as the divine council worldview, popularized by Dr. Michael Heiser's book The Unseen Realm, which points to a second wave of fallen angels reproducing with human women, possibly tied to events at the Tower of Babel.   •      Cody walks through how titles like Nephilim, Raphaim, and Anakim appear to function almost interchangeably across different biblical accounts, particularly during Israel's conquest of the promised land. He connects this same bloodline to figures like Nimrod and Goliath, both of whom fit the profile of unusually large, violent individuals with what he calls an insatiable drive to conquer.   •      The conversation moves into the Book of Enoch, which describes a group of angels making a mutual pact on Mount Hermon before descending to earth, complete with a named leader, Samyaza, and a chain of command beneath him. Cody draws a parallel to the divine hierarchies found in Exodus and in pantheons across nearly every ancient culture, from Egypt and Greece to Norse and Chinese mythology, suggesting a shared, structured system of these beings governing different nations.   •      Cody also raises Azazel, another fallen angel named in Enoch, and connects him directly to the wilderness scapegoat ritual described later in the Torah. He and Rye discuss whether the same pride that led these angels to accept worship as gods mirrors all-too-human examples like the pharaohs of Egypt, some of whom are associated with elongated skulls that Cody suggests could hint at a partial Nephilim bloodline.   •      Rye and Cody discuss a theory that ziggurats and other mountain-shaped structures found across ancient civilizations weren't just architecture, but deliberate recreations of the mountains where these beings were believed to meet with humanity, a pattern Cody sees repeated in cultures with no direct contact with one another.   •      Touching on more fringe corners of giant lore, Cody discusses accounts of giant remains linked to cannibalism, including the Lovelock Cave findings, while noting this falls outside his core area of study. He closes with a caution about divination practices like Ouija boards and tarot, arguing that people who believe they're contacting a higher self are often unknowingly communicating with familiar spirits who already know a great deal about them.   •      Cody runs Logic of God, found at logicofgod.com and across major platforms, and is currently writing a new book on church deconstruction titled Deconstruction of the Church: A Call for Reformation of the Protestants, which argues that healthy deconstruction and a pursuit of truth beyond what any one pastor teaches is a valuable part of a Christian's faith journey.   Best Line of the Night "You're most likely talking to familiar spirits that are watching everything." Cody, on what actually answers back during a Ouija board or tarot session. Guest Can Be Found Cody runs Logic of God and is active across all major platforms under that name. Face to Face With an 8 Foot Sasquatch in the Tennessee Woods with Darrell Denton
2026/09/25
Bigfoot researcher Daryl Denton recounts the 1992 hunting trip in rural Tennessee that kept him out of the woods for seven years, and the years-long ordeal at his own home that followed decades later. Daryl describes coming face to face with an eight foot tall, snarling Sasquatch, known locally as a Woodbooger, that ripped a tree limb from its base and let out a scream he says lasted what felt like five minutes, all from a tree stand he couldn't easily escape. The conversation moves into a much later chapter of his life, when something began stalking his own property, tearing apart every barn cat overnight, braiding his wildest horse's mane, and ultimately throwing a headless goat at his front door during a two and a half month campaign of harassment. Daryl now researches these creatures full time and co-hosts Two Real Cryptid Legends alongside Bigfoot researcher Ron Morehead on the United Public Radio Network. In This Episode •      Daryl Denton opens with the encounter that changed the course of his life: a black powder deer hunting trip in November of 1992 on his grandfather's rural Tennessee farm, during opening week of muzzle loader season. Daryl and three close friends had hunted the same five mile radius of connecting farms for years without incident.   •      Settled into a tree stand overlooking a creek, Daryl heard something enormous moving through a thick thicket of cane, snapping shoots he knew from experience took real weight and force to break. Expecting the biggest buck of his life, he readied his black powder rifle, only for something roughly 15 to 16 feet of cane-height movement to stop just short of the clearing.   •      What stepped out instead was a creature Daryl estimated at eight feet tall, standing on the game trail before leaping a 10 to 12 foot wide creek in a single step and walking directly toward his position. It turned and looked straight at him, its face twisted with what looked like an old injury or deformity on one side of its mouth, showing its teeth and growling.   •      Frozen in the stand with only one shot available and a reload time of nearly two minutes, Daryl watched the creature walk a few feet away, grab the scent rag he'd hung in a nearby tree, smell it, then tear an entire limb out of the tree and throw it to the ground, all while maintaining eye contact. It let out a scream Daryl describes as feeling like it lasted five minutes, though he estimates it was closer to five seconds, unlike any sound he'd heard before or since.   •      That encounter kept Daryl out of the woods entirely for the next seven years before he slowly worked his way back in, eventually turning his fear into full time research and field investigation into Bigfoot and Sasquatch sightings, including attending events like the first annual Paris Dogman conference.   •      Decades later, Daryl describes an entirely separate ordeal that unfolded at his own home, where something began stalking his property for roughly two and a half months. Every one of the roughly 30 barn cats that lived on his land, ones he'd fed nightly for years, turned up torn apart, seemingly grabbed behind the head and pulled apart by something far stronger than any known predator in the area.   •      The harassment escalated from there: flood lights broken, a pool gate bent, tree limbs and shrubs torn up, and strangest of all, the mane of his wildest, unrideable horse found carefully braided, something no person could have safely gotten close enough to do. Daryl, who was serving as mayor at the time, brought in local officers to patrol the property, but the activity would stop the moment they arrived and resume the second they left.   •      The situation came to a head one night when Daryl spotted two of the creatures walking past his front windows onto his wraparound porch. After flipping the porch lights on and hearing them flee, something slammed hard against his front door minutes later. Opening it, Daryl nearly tripped over a dead, headless goat, an animal that belonged to no one in the area, left directly in his doorway.   •      Daryl finally walked into his own front yard in the middle of the night and shouted a direct challenge into the dark, daring whatever was out there to finish it, and sat outside armed until daylight. Whatever had been stalking his property never returned. Daryl now co-hosts Two Real Cryptid Legends alongside longtime Bigfoot researcher Ron Morehead, airing every other Monday night at 10 Eastern on the United Public Radio Network.   Best Line of the Night "Come on. One of us is going out. Me or you? I've had enough. Let's get this on." Off Planet for 9 Days, The Strangest Alien Contact Story You've Never Heard of
2026/09/22
Samuel Chong discusses The Thiaoouba Prophecy, one of the most detailed alien abduction accounts ever published, originally written in French by Michel Desmarquet, a French Australian landscaper from Queensland with no formal education. Samuel explains how he discovered the book in 2014 while searching for extraterrestrial contact accounts, and breaks down Michel's claim that he was taken from his backyard in 1987 for a nine day journey to another planet. The conversation covers the parallel universe explanation given for disappearing planes and ships, warnings about humanity's greatest dangers, an alternate history of ancient civilizations and the pyramids, and details in the book that reportedly predicted Nazi Germany's atomic weapons program and a real NASA project years before either became public knowledge. Samuel also breaks down the book's explanation of ghosts, reincarnation, and the astral body. In This Episode •      Samuel Chong has spent years bringing one of the more detailed alien abduction accounts in print to readers across Asia, and joins the show to break down the story behind The Thiaoouba Prophecy. He first found the book back in 2014 while searching Amazon for firsthand extraterrestrial contact accounts, hoping to find advanced information that could help humanity progress faster.   •      The book centers on Michel Desmarquet, a French Australian landscaper living in Queensland with little formal education, who in 1987 woke suddenly in the night, left his wife a note saying not to worry, and walked into his backyard where he says he was lifted into the air and met a nine or ten foot tall extraterrestrial being.   •      Samuel explains the being's account of a parallel universe theory tied to real-world disappearances, describing certain regions where planes, ships, and people have vanished without explanation. According to the story, these events are connected to naturally occurring portals between dimensions rather than anything supernatural.   •      Michel was reportedly shown a series of warnings about humanity's greatest self-inflicted dangers, described as an evolving list of vices and systems capable of destroying society from the inside. Samuel walks through how these warnings tie into the broader purpose of Michel's trip.   •      The conversation shifts to an alternate history of ancient civilizations, including a description of advanced pre-flood societies and a lost pyramid Samuel says was reported to be several times larger than any pyramid standing in Egypt today, used for spiritual practices tied to communication across long distances.   •      According to Samuel, Michel was told the entire purpose of his nine day trip was to document exactly what he experienced without adding his own opinions or embellishments, a condition he says Michel honored to the letter when writing the book afterward.   •      Samuel highlights several details in the book that he says line up with information Michel had no way of knowing at the time, including references to Nazi Germany's progress toward atomic weapons and a real Cold War era space communications project, both included in a book written by someone with no internet access or formal science background.   •      The book also lays out an explanation for ghosts, reincarnation, and what happens to a person's consciousness after death, describing an astral body that separates from the physical body and gradually returns to what the book calls the higher self over a period of days.   •      Samuel shares that the book took Michel roughly a year to write, originally in French before being translated into English, and reflects on just how much of the material the two of them still haven't had the chance to fully unpack.   Best Line of the Night "It can't be made up. That's how far out it is." Rye, reacting to just how detailed and outlandish Michel's account really is. Attachments, Possession, and a House Full of Entities That Started a Paranormal Society
2026/09/18
Lisa, co-founder of the Cryptid Women's Society, joins the show to share the personal encounters that led her to help build a research group dedicated to investigating Bigfoot, Dogman, cryptids, and UFOs across the South Pacific and beyond. Lisa recounts living in a New Zealand house that acted as a funnel for paranormal activity, including an unusually solid apparition of a Victorian woman at the dining table and a recurring seven foot shadow figure the household nicknamed George. The conversation covers a vanishing sailor boy, a hovering entity nicknamed the drippy monster, the lost continent of Mu and its ties to Pacific island oral history, and a personal UFO sighting involving a shapeshifting cloud and two black triangle craft over a parking lot in Mexico. Lisa also breaks down her views on entity attachments and possession from a paranormal investigator's perspective. She co-runs the Cryptid Women's Society, with new episodes releasing every Monday night on YouTube. In This Episode •      Lisa co-founded the Cryptid Women's Society alongside her friend Juliet a few years ago, and traces the group's origins back to a New Zealand house the two of them shared that acted as a kind of magnet for paranormal activity. Nearly everyone who spent time on the property reported something strange, with kids from the household comparing notes on shared experiences years later.    •      One of Lisa's clearest memories from that house happened while sneaking down the hallway to the bathroom in the middle of the night, not long after having her son. Looking into the dining room, she saw an unusually solid, fully detailed apparition of a Victorian woman sitting at the table, lit by moonlight streaming through the glass doors, detailed enough that Lisa says she could still sketch the woman's profile from memory today.   •      The household came to know a recurring seven foot tall shadow figure they nicknamed George, who they later identified as a hatman after researching similar entity reports elsewhere. Lisa raises the open question of whether naming and researching an entity like this can actually open the door to more activity, since other beings followed, including a small sailor boy seen only once or twice in the lounge, and a hovering, dripping shadow entity that appeared over multiple members of the household while they slept.   •      The conversation shifts into deeper research territory with the lost continent of Mu, which Lisa says is well documented in Hawaiian oral history and described by Pacific Island elders as a landmass large enough to island hop across, connecting Fiji, Hawaii, and New Zealand before it was lost. Lisa places herself in the camp that associates this lost landmass more with Lemuria than Atlantis.   •      Lisa shares her own UFO sighting from years earlier in a parking lot in northern Mexico, describing a single, oddly undulating cloud in an otherwise clear sky that seemed to signal her to look up. Off in the distance, she spotted two black triangular craft on an apparent intercept course, followed shortly after by the cloud vanishing and a single black triangle drifting silently over the horizon for the better part of fifteen minutes, seemingly unnoticed by anyone else nearby going about a normal day.   •      Later in the conversation, Lisa distinguishes between what she calls entity attachments and outright possession, arguing that most paranormal investigators eventually learn to recognize when someone is carrying an unwanted attachment just from how they tell their own story, even when the person themselves has no idea anything is there.   •      Lisa can be found at the Cryptid Women's Society, with a website, active Instagram and Facebook pages, a Patreon membership program, and new episodes releasing every Monday night at 8 p.m. Eastern on YouTube.   Best Line of the Night "That was the most clear apparition I have ever seen in my life." Flagged DNA, a Secret Handler, and Missing Time in a War Zone
2026/09/15
Government contractor Rich Barker breaks his silence for the first time about a series of unexplained events tied to his overseas deployments in Iraq. Rich recounts having his DNA flagged during a routine blood draw, discovering years later that a close friend was actually his handler, and waking up three days later with no memory after a sudden illness while playing cards on a military base. The conversation covers a do not detain flag placed on his license without explanation, his eyes reportedly changing color between black, gray, and yellow depending on his mood, and a striking memory of a fellow DoD contractor transforming into a seven foot tall dog-like creature in front of him. Rich and Rye discuss possible explanations ranging from MK Ultra style programming to bloodline-based recruitment, and Rich shares his own ongoing search for answers, including his discovery that no DNA testing service in the country operates outside of government control. In This Episode •      Government contractor Rich is going public for the first time about a string of events he still can't fully explain, starting back in 2008 when financial hardship pushed him to take an overseas contracting job for the money. What began as routine maintenance work on military bases in Iraq slowly turned into something Rich now believes was a long-running recruitment effort he never agreed to.   •      A man Rich considered a close friend, someone he trusted enough to store his motorcycle with, turned out to be quietly monitoring him the entire time. The friend would show up with unsettling knowledge of Rich's private conversations and repeatedly told him he needed to start playing by the rules, a phrase Rich now understands as pressure to comply with a recruitment he never consented to.   •      Before deploying, Rich went through what he was told were routine vaccinations and a blood draw, supposedly for identification purposes in case something happened to him overseas. He didn't question it at the time, but it's the moment he now believes his DNA was first flagged by whoever was tracking him.   •      One of the strangest incidents happened while Rich was playing cards with a female DoD contractor outside their living quarters on base. He suddenly felt ill, went to lie down, and woke up three days later with only a slight headache and no memory of what happened in between, an experience he kept to himself for roughly a decade before telling anyone.   •      That same DoD contractor, who Rich says was deployed directly through Langley to Ramadi, was rumored among his contacts to belong to something referred to only as a wolf pack. Rich describes a specific memory, one he isn't fully certain is real, of watching her transform into a seven foot tall, pale, fur covered, dog faced creature right in front of him while the two were hanging out.   •      Rich later discovered he had a do not detain flag attached to his license, something no one explained to him at the time and that he only learned about after being waved through a situation that should have gotten him in trouble. Years afterward, when he finally pressed his handler on why he'd been targeted in the first place, the answer was simply that his DNA had been flagged during that original blood draw.   •      That answer sent Rich down his own research path into bloodlines, epigenetics, and whether trauma itself can alter a person's genetic markers enough to draw attention. His wife has told him his eyes visibly change color depending on his mood, going jet black when he's angry and shifting to gray or yellow at other times, something Rich has no medical explanation for.   •      Rich also describes trying to independently verify his DNA results, only to discover that every genetic testing service in the country, no matter how private it appears on the surface, is ultimately tied to government oversight. He was later told by his handler that he'd been declined from whatever program was being considered for him because he was deemed uncontrollable.   •      Rye closes out the conversation weighing the possible explanations for everything Rich described, from MK Ultra style psychological programming to a bloodline-based recruitment pipeline, noting that mental and physical changes like the ones Rich experienced tend to intensify after deployment. Both agree there's likely more going on beneath the surface of ordinary contractor work than most people realize.   Best Line of the Night "Why did they pick me? I'm just a mechanic. I'm a nobody." Rich, recalling the moment he finally pushed his handler for a real answer. What Really Happened to Andy? The Hunt for Answers
2026/09/11
Rye is joined by a panel of fellow paranormal podcasters, Graham from Grimerica, Bennett from Broadcasting Seeds, and Brad from the Awakened Podcast, to revisit one of the strangest guest stories from the show's early episodes. The group replays and breaks down Andy's account of a summer spent working as a night auditor near the Soaring Eagle Casino in Michigan, where he was dog sitting alone in a trailer bordering an empty field. Andy describes weeks of disturbing dreams and unexplained scratches before the night everything came to a head: a door bursting open during a storm, the family dog vanishing into the dark, and Andy waking up on the ground after being knocked flat by something he never saw in an open field with no trees anywhere nearby. The four hosts weigh in with their own theories on what really happened that night. In This Episode •      Rye brings together three fellow paranormal podcasters, Graeme from Grim America, Bennett from Broadcasting Seeds, and Brad from the Awaken Podcast, for a panel revisit of a guest story that's stuck with him since one of his earliest episodes. Each host gives a quick shout out to their own shows and current projects before the group settles in to replay and react to the original interview together.   •      The story centers on Andy, who at the time was a student at Central Michigan University working a summer job as the overnight auditor at a hotel near the Soaring Eagle Casino. With the dorms cleared out for summer and nowhere to live, Andy arranged to stay alone in a trailer bordering an empty field in exchange for watching a neighbor's elderly golden retriever, Chief.   •      In the weeks leading up to the main incident, Andy describes increasingly unsettling dreams about being chased through the trees behind the trailer, along with unexplained scratches and irritated, puffy marks appearing on his skin that he couldn't attribute to the couch he was sleeping on.   •      On the night everything escalated, Andy was in the shower during a heavy storm when he heard a loud crash. He came out to find the trailer's already flimsy front door banging open in the wind, and Chief nowhere to be found inside. He threw on clothes, grabbed a flashlight, and ran outside into the storm, able to track the dog's location only by the distinct sound of the bell on his collar somewhere out in the dark, treeless field behind the trailer.   •      While running full speed toward the sound of the bell, Andy was suddenly knocked flat by something he never saw or heard coming, hard enough to split his nose and cut up his face, in a stretch of open field he confirms has no trees or obstacles of any kind. He has no idea how long he was on the ground before waking up in the rain.   •      When Andy finally made it back to the trailer, the bell sound and the dog were both gone from the field, but Chief was sitting calmly on his dog bed inside, completely dry, without a single drop of rain on him, despite the storm still going on outside and despite the trailer having been thoroughly searched and found empty just minutes earlier.   •      The panel spends the rest of the episode reacting to the story in real time and offering their own theories on what might have physically or paranormally knocked Andy down in an open field, and how the dog could possibly have ended up back inside, bone dry, without ever being seen coming or going.   Best Line of the Night "The dog doesn't have a drop of water on him." Andy, describing the moment he found Chief back inside, completely dry, despite the storm outside.
