The Unfinished Business Agenda | SZN 4 EP 20
2026/09/18
For the Season 4 finale of The Black Gay Agenda, Micah B, Dupree and AP are looking back at the conversations, arguments and moments that stayed with us long after the mics went off. We revisit some of our most debated takes of the season, from princess treatment and Pride to separating the art from the artist, and decide whether we still stand on what we said. Then things get personal. AP opens up about becoming more intentional in his friendships and questioning how he shows up as an older brother. Dupree gets vulnerable about his career, redefining success and finally starting therapy. Micah reflects on going no contact with his father, moving to Atlanta, letting go of other people’s expectations and learning to recognize success without constantly comparing himself to everyone else. Before we close the season, we ask ourselves: What are you avoiding? What are you still trying to prove? What are you ready to leave behind? And what needs to happen before your next chapter can begin? Plus, we’re looking ahead to Season 5, where we’re diving into love, sex and relationships, and introducing The Black Gay Agenda: RAW during the offseason. PUSHERS, thank you for riding with us through another season. The After Dark Agenda II | SZN 4 Episode 19
2026/09/04
This episode is from the vault. Can a relationship survive when the love is strong but the bedroom chemistry is not? And if the connection is worth saving, can opening the relationship help or create an even bigger problem? In The After Dark Agenda, Micah B, Dupree ,Alex and AP get completely unfiltered about intimacy, size, hookups and physical compatibility. The fellas debate whether bad bedroom chemistry is enough to end a relationship, whether 12 inches is actually too big, what qualifies as “husband dick,” strict bedroom roles and why ethical non-monogamy should never be used as a quick fix for an already struggling relationship. They also get into hookup red flags, fetish-heavy dating profiles, public play, aftercare, STI testing, PrEP, condoms and the importance of communication, consent and sexual responsibility. This episode is intended for mature audiences. PUSHERS, could you stay in a relationship with someone you loved if the bedroom chemistry was not satisfying? Let us know in the comments. 40 FOR 40: HELP US TAKE SEASON 5 INTO THE STUDIO We want Season 5 of The Black Gay Agenda to be fully in studio, and we need the Pushers to help us get there. The Baggage Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 18
2026/08/28
How much of the baggage you carry actually belongs to you, and how much was packed by your parents, past relationships, religion or simply trying to survive? In The Baggage Agenda, Micah B and AP get honest about the experiences that continue to shape how we love, trust, communicate and show up in relationships. The conversation explores childhood wounds, mommy and daddy issues, anxious attachment, hyper-independence, emotional unavailability, parental alcoholism, going no contact, religious trauma, loss and accepting that a parent may never become the person you needed them to be. They also debate whether a partner should be expected to have patience with baggage they didn’t create, whether someone needs to be fully healed before entering a relationship and when trauma stops being an explanation and becomes an excuse. PUSHERS, should your partner help you carry baggage they didn’t create? What is one piece of baggage you’re ready to put down? HOSTS Micah B

The Pick Me Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 17
2026/08/21
This week on The Black Gay Agenda, Micah B, Dupree and AP are getting into pick-me culture in the Black gay community and the ways we sometimes change ourselves to be accepted, desired or chosen. What does being a “pick me” actually look like for Black gay men? The fellas unpack gay men who distance themselves from other gay men, the pressure to perform masculinity, internalized homophobia, masc-for-masc culture, femininity, dating and desirability, and the idea that staying home, having less sex or avoiding queer spaces somehow makes someone more relationship-worthy. Then the conversation gets personal: Have you ever wanted somebody to pick you so badly that you stopped picking yourself? Dupree opens up about toning down his femininity, AP reflects on changing parts of himself while dating, and Micah shares how seeking his father’s approval affected the way he lived his life and approached relationships. Plus, AP drops a VERY interesting take about gay men who love sports that the Pushers are definitely going to have something to say about. Ultimately, The Pick Me Agenda is about what happens when you stop performing for everybody else, embrace who you actually are and finally choose yourself. This Week: Micah B, Dupree & AP

The Linkup Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 16
2026/08/07
What does it really mean to “link up”? This week on The Black Gay Agenda, Micah B, AP, and Dupree explore one of the biggest conversations happening in the Black queer community: why meaningful connections can feel so difficult to build. From dating and friendships to networking and community, the hosts unpack the challenges of forming genuine relationships in a world that often prioritizes quick interactions over lasting connections. Whether you’re looking for love, building stronger friendships, expanding your network, or simply searching for community, this episode is a reminder that meaningful relationships don’t happen by accident—they require intention, vulnerability, and showing up. In this episode: • Dating versus building genuine community • Loneliness in the Black gay community • Friendship and emotional vulnerability • Dating apps and modern dating culture • Green flags and red flags in relationships • Communication, exclusivity, and expectations • Building healthier relationships and stronger community • Why connection matters now more than ever ⸻ Presented by Jack’d MEET THEM HERE: Jack’d App Your next crush is one download away. The R&B Rundown Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 14
2026/07/17
Is R&B really dead, or has the genre simply evolved? This week, Micah B and Dupree are joined by guest host Michael Anthony for a full celebration of R&B music, culture, and the artists who continue to shape it. The conversation covers Lauryn Hill’s legacy, Frank Ocean’s Blonde, Usher’s recent music, the artists carrying modern R&B forward, and why so many listeners believe the genre has lost its way. The Community Check-In Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 13
2026/07/03
This week, Micah B, Dupree, and Justin take a step back after another Pride season to ask one important question: What happens after Pride? The conversation begins with a Letter From the Pushers that revisits the ongoing debate around Pride, sexuality, and respectability politics. The hosts reflect on the backlash from a previous conversation and explore why Pride can celebrate sexual freedom while remaining rooted in protest, visibility, advocacy, and community care. From there, the crew checks in on the state of the Black LGBTQ+ community. They discuss supporting Black queer artists beyond Pride Month, the responsibility of creators and organizations, the impact of reality television and media exploitation, and why civic engagement, voting, and year-round community building matter just as much as showing up to Pride. The episode also celebrates Black queer joy, entrepreneurship, local organizers, and the people creating meaningful spaces for our community every day. Honest, reflective, and rooted in love, this conversation is a reminder that Pride doesn’t end on June 30. The work, the joy, and the community continue all year long. ⸻ Executive Producer Micah Butler Producer Justin B. The Hot Seat Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 12
2026/06/19
This week, Justin B. Smith, AP, and Dupree are in the hot seat, and nothing is off limits. Presented by Jack’d, the crew kicks off Pride season with a conversation about dating apps, Pride weekends, friendship, relationships, self-sabotage, attraction, masculinity, and the lessons they’ve learned while navigating life as Black queer men. From building the perfect Black Pride starter pack to discussing what catches their attention on dating apps, the conversation quickly turns into something deeper. The hosts open up about friendship evaluations, showing up for the people you love, the realities of dating, and the ways ego, fear, and past experiences can get in the way of meaningful connections. They also tackle bigger conversations around the Black gay community, respectability politics, anti-femininity, dating preferences, activism, and the responsibility we have to show up for one another. Funny, vulnerable, messy, and surprisingly heartfelt, this episode reminds us that sometimes the hottest conversations happen when you’re willing to be honest. Special thanks to our sponsor, Jack’d. The Pride & Joy Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 11
2026/06/05
This week, Micah B, AP, and Dupree celebrate Pride Month with a conversation about joy, community, chosen family, and what Pride really means beyond the stereotypes. After a listener asks whether Pride has become too focused on sex, the crew gets into respectability politics, queer liberation, and why Pride has always been about much more than parties and hookups. They discuss the freedom that comes with living authentically, the importance of finding community, and the moments that make Pride feel meaningful beyond the nightlife. The conversation also explores chosen family, coming out, navigating relationships with parents and siblings, Black queer representation, and the responsibility we all have to protect our joy while uplifting one another. Funny, heartfelt, and affirming, this is a reminder that Pride is about more than celebration. It’s about community, resistance, visibility, and joy. ⸻ Executive Producer Micah Butler ⸻ Shop TRXDE Apparel https://trxdeapparel.com Use promo code BLACKGAYAGENDA for 10% off your order. ⸻ Watch our latest Another Conversation interview with Keiynan Lonsdale https://youtu.be/JicS6Au_-0M?si=71VNpNuPAS20d3TQ ⸻ Follow The Black Gay Agenda https://instagram.com/theblackgayagenda Follow the Hosts Micah https://instagram.com/itsmicahb AP https://www.instagram.com/whereisalexpin Dupree https://www.instagram.com/dupreetheartist
The Wildcard Agenda Pt. 3 | SZN 4 Episode 10
2026/05/15
This week, Micah B, AP, and Dupree close out the midseason with another Wildcard episode, where every topic is on the table and the conversation can go literally anywhere. The episode opens with conversations around internet outrage, fan loyalty, and whether audiences actually allow artists to grow. From Chris Brown and Tyler Perry to Teyana Taylor and award season discourse, the crew gets into why certain celebrities receive endless criticism while others are protected no matter what. From there, the conversation gets even messier. The crew debates petty behavior versus justified reactions, dating age gaps, sugar daddy stories, financial struggles as creatives, and the emotional reality of trying to grow while still carrying other people with you. They also get into the pressure Black creatives face online, why Black audiences sometimes struggle to give grace to Black artists, and the difference between accountability and performative hate. Funny, shady, reflective, chaotic, and unexpectedly deep, this is The Black Gay Agenda exactly the way the Pushers love it. ⸻ Executive Producer Micah Butler Producer Justin B. The Talk Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 9
2026/05/08
This week, Micah B, AP, and Dupree get into the conversations many Black queer people wish they had growing up. The episode opens with a Twitter Talk centered around the viral Vinny Watson and V12 Lounge controversy, and the internet debate around leadership, humiliation, respectability, and why Black queer people often receive harsher criticism online. From there, the conversation turns deeper. The crew unpacks the talks they never had around sex, religion, masculinity, fear, coming out, financial struggles, and what it looks like trying to figure yourself out while also undoing everything you were taught. They also get real about rejection, chasing dreams, emotional survival, and creating the kinds of safe spaces they wish existed when they were younger. Funny, vulnerable, messy, and honest, this is one of the realest conversations of the season. ⸻ Follow The Black Gay Agenda https://instagram.com/theblackgayagenda Follow the Hosts Micah https://instagram.com/itsmicahb AP https://www.instagram.com/whereisalexpin Dupree https://www.instagram.com/dupreetheartist
The Be Honest Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 8
2026/05/01
This week, it’s Micah B, AP, and Dupree getting real… like actually real. We kick things off with The Quickie and set the tone early, because this episode is all about honesty, even when it’s uncomfortable. From there, the conversation opens up with a series of “be honest” questions that push everything to the surface. From dating habits to communication issues, the crew gets into the ways we show up in relationships… and the ways we avoid saying what really needs to be said. We get into: • Staying in situations out of comfort vs actually liking someone • Avoiding honesty to protect people’s feelings • Treating people like options while acting like they’re more • Knowing when you’re being inconsistent or emotionally unavailable • And recognizing when you are the problem The conversation also shifts into friendships, accountability, and the things we peep but don’t always say out loud. From riding the fence to calling out patterns, the question becomes… are you really being honest with the people in your life? Then things turn a little messier. We get into sex, attraction, and the double standards we all participate in… from overlooking red flags because someone looks good to doubling back when the sex is just that good. In the final stretch, the crew reflects on themselves. From communication habits to family relationships, finances, and personal growth, this episode forces one question… what are you avoiding being honest about in your own life? This one is funny, messy, and a little too real. ⸻ Follow The Black Gay Agenda https://instagram.com/theblackgayagenda Follow the Hosts Micah https://instagram.com/itsmicahb AP https://www.instagram.com/whereisalexpin Dupree https://www.instagram.com/dupreetheartist
The Female Hip-Hop Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 7
2026/04/24
Let’s be real… every time y’all talk about the greatest female rapper, the conversation gets real selective. This week, Micah B is out, but Alex, AP, Dupree, and returning former cohost Justin B. Smith step in and hold it down. We kick things off with The Quickie asking one question… who is the greatest female rapper of all time? And from the start, the answers get real. From debates around Nicki Minaj vs. Missy Elliott to conversations about impact, versatility, and who really transcends the genre, the tone is set early. From there, the episode turns into a full breakdown of female hip hop, past, present, and what’s next. We get into: • The Mount Rushmore of female rap and who actually deserves a spot • The influence of legends like Lil’ Kim, MC Lyte, and Da Brat • How artists like Sexyy Red and GloRilla are shaping the current sound • The difference between personality, hits, and real artistry • Whether a short run is enough to be considered one of the greats The conversation also explores how the sound of female rap has evolved, who has truly challenged the genre, and what it takes to have longevity in an industry that has not always made space for women, especially Black women. In the Agenda Moving Forward, the focus shifts to the future. From rising artists like Monaleo to the growing visibility of new voices across cities, the question becomes clear… who is really next to take the torch? This episode is fun, opinionated, and a real conversation about the culture, the impact, and the evolution of the rap girls. ⸻ Follow The Black Gay Agenda https://instagram.com/theblackgayagenda Follow the Hosts Micah https://instagram.com/itsmicahb Alex https://instagram.com/xandert82 AP https://www.instagram.com/whereisalexpin Dupree https://www.instagram.com/dupreetheartist Justin B. The Silent Struggles Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 6
2026/04/17
This week, Micah B, Alex, AP, and Dupree get into a conversation that goes deeper than expected. We kick things off with a Quickie segment, Queerchella, where the hosts build their own dream queer music festival, choosing headliners and debating who really deserves top billing. What starts as a fun moment quickly turns into a bigger conversation about taste, impact, and who actually moves the culture. From there, the energy shifts into something heavier, the reality of silent struggles. From burnout and isolation to masking pain, self medicating, and navigating mental health in a world that does not always make space for it, the crew gets real about what it looks like to be okay on the outside but not on the inside. They unpack the difference between protecting your peace and isolating yourself, the pressure to stay strong for everyone else, and why so many people struggle to ask for help, especially in Black and queer communities. The conversation also touches on Mental health and masking Friendship, family, and safe spaces The impact of capitalism on emotional well being Grief, addiction, and personal healing Why vulnerability still feels unsafe for so many of us The hosts also share personal stories they have never fully opened up about, from depression and financial struggles to loss and rebuilding. This is not just a conversation, it is a reminder you are not the only one going through it. ⸻ Follow The Black Gay Agenda https://instagram.com/theblackgayagenda Follow the Hosts Micah https://instagram.com/itsmicahb Alex https://instagram.com/xandert82 AP https://www.instagram.com/whereisalexpin Dupree https://www.instagram.com/dupreetheartist
