A week late after the dreaded ManFlu outbreak for Rob, the guys return to recap a bonker's Bathurst finale which saw GM throw away the win with a crazy fuel strategy risk they didnt need to take... The BTCC finale produced some great racing and some retirements! Chilton and Osbourne waved goodbye to the driving seat while one of the greatest broadcasters in the land Louise Goodman hung up the microphone.... Gutting The on track action wasn't too bad either!! Collard Fiesty, Ingram twos up, Sutton 5 timer & Doble the Indy King..... Tom Ovendon grabs the Mini Challenge JCW Crown by 1 point, Porsche titles wrapped up too!

Will Gibson Returns!! After his first year running the UK Legends Championship, Will talks candidly about the challenges and especially the mental costs of running a UK Club series. Meanwhile the lads also breakdown the Bahlaysiarain GP that started with shambles as the cars did a CTRL-ALT-DELETE when the rain came....... The WRC title came to Britain for the first time since Richard Burns and it came 200 meters from the finish! As the season heads to the finish line in the UK the club racing world hits more issues, Marshals have contacted the show to express issues into 2027, the rising world living costs have already started to take effect.. grids are down and its gonna be tougher still from here on out. Finally more discussion from a hot topic last week, with Rob in particular wanting to make the point.... Personal attacks are not good and should be condemed. but criticism is part of the top level motorsport..

No Guests this week but....Well... Silverstone saw Ash Sutton become the all time great with 5 BTCC titles, but away from this formidable achievement was the furore around Kawashima's Arrival in the ex-Collard Hyundai, Socks giving 7 drivers a trip to the clerks and a golden performance from Callum Voisin. Elsewhere the boys download a Donington Finale weekend for the Legends, look back at a fun day out at Ford Power Live & talk about the freak that is Aaron Cooke after a brilliant debut in the GT Cup Jolt Mclaren

Kyle wells is not the household motorsport name...yet, a young lad with immense talent. His dad Ian and Kyle sat down on the sofas to chat about a proper father and son story up the ranks in motorsport. Ninja Karts and nights at the oval tracks then turned to circuit racing in the JSCC where standout performances were often twinned with heart ache and set backs. Kyle also goes into a promising start in the Porsche Championship before crossing the paddock to the Innovation racing GT cup program for this year, as it stands at the time of recording. Kyle could well win it this year in the Ginetta... Just goes to show....Ovals breeds talent.

Mikey Dobles 4 years in the BTCC have been the ultimate underdog story, From winning 2 Championships on the same weekend in Club and National Motorsport to the BTCC with the Humble PMR Vauxhall Astras, he proved a point in his first season by proving hes no slouch. He gives a very candid view on driver changes in the championship, TCR spec cars as the BTCC, the perhaps unfair view from some of the fanbase on the NGTC regs and racing. He also touches on his first pole position start turning to disaster at Silverstone, the triumph of his first win and the teams first since 2019!! Of course we do touch on the devestating fire that wiped out the team assets and the quite literal phoenix rising from the flames as they arrived this year with Brand new build Audis.

Just the boys this week after a mega month of August Guests! China GT produced heroics and an alarming neglect by the rescue crews! F1 happened at Monza (Ask Scott) before finally the boys disect the BTCC Croft meeting, Ash Sutton was supreme, Ingram under the Cosh, Cook was Rapid and battered around at the same time before they finally look at.....Track Limits...

Aaron Cooke is certainly someone who..chances are you have seen on the racing social media world. He was one of the first to embrace the POV view when racing or testing, Aaron is no stranger to success, jumping into ovals and dominating in anything he could race, winning multiple titles before exploring the world of circuit racing. Of course Aaron is no stranger to the podcast, having joined the boys (Albeit for 5 minutes!) at the Legends pre season test day at Donington earlier in the year, Settle down for tales of Multiple MR2 championship wins, Nearly winning 10k alongside Dan Silvester in Funcup and the C1 24hours in europe....including a runaway wheel !!

Tom Gray will commonly be seen in the TOCA Paddock frequenting the garages with his Wooden Spoon and a great take on the racing.. He joins the boys in the sofas to chat about the current BTCC Paddock.. The Plato to CPRL Saga and the Fan reaction to it all, Nic Hamilton, racing himself in the CALMS Series and the ARDS test that nearly ended in disaster.!! Being saved from a steak before a rental kart crash, C1s, the debut in the BTCC at his home circuit of Snetterton and much much more.!! His career proves that you can come from nothing and still forge a path to the very top of British motorsport and its a bloody long and hard way to the top! Tune in folks

Rob and Scott descended to the Hampshire speedbowl to catch up with Mini Challenge Trophy returnee Alex Keens and Porsche Carrera Cup Driver and Podcast OG Max Coates!!! A well overdue catch up with both drivers, especially since the last time we caught up with Max it was a rather emotional event!

Paul Harvey returns to the podcast he helped create with Rob to catch up with the boys. Very quickly they dicect a difficult F1 season so far that is starting to look like a disaster with continued struggles of the power units, Rob and Scott look at a very sunkissed weekend at Thruxton which they attended, Rob then looks at the venue itself which is starting to be upgraded by the new owner. More circuits are utilising time away from racing, test and trackdays to put on events, in particular goodwood and thruxton... is this a way forward? Much more including a reflective 18 months for Paul including a few life adjustments...& and few cars! Sim racing in COVID memories.... They then breakdown the Funcup Championship from its humble beginnings nearly 25 years ago to a real revival in the last couple of years! Jamies also has a candid chat about challenges faced during covid and finding a close friend from the world of gladiators who quite literally saved his life..

Sarah Dennis is no stranger to the Club Motorsport scene with the family Puretrack Racing Team, Starting off in humble roots with her dad, after working for Subaru in the BTCC she lost her dad in Covid and kept a promise to start racing again. Now working in the BTCC AND running an endurance racing team. she joined the boys to talk about it all.... and as you can guess with Sarah.... its a giggle..
