Helping Kids Deal with Bullying Without Making it Worse

This week on Parents You've Got This - The Expert Guide to Parenthood we are discussing bullying. This is a big word - and a loaded one - and something that as a parent, you never want your child to experience.
Bullying behaviour can take numerous forms, from verbal teasing to physical threats, exclusion, mean comments, online threats, or malicious posts or messages in chat groups. It is intentional, repetitive and reflective of a power imbalance.
We welcome our Child Psychologist Dr Deirdre Brandner to help us all navigate this tricky topic and provide us with a tool kit to help our children build the skills and resilience they need if they see or experience bullying behaviour.
