Financial Friday: Less Death More Freedom
2026/10/23
FF: Less Death; More Freedom
They sell socialism as something that provides "free" stuff to people - like free healthcare and free education. So why are Canadians coming to the U.S. for better healthcare? Why would someone from Cuba create a makeshift raft to use in hopes that they can make it to the U.S.? People around the world are starting to realize that the promises made by governments aren't turning out the way they thought it would. They are starting to realize that the free stuff isn't as good as the things they paid for before. Governments are changing the meanings of words in order to get the results that they want from the citizens. They take actions to gain more control over the people. If you want a better life, you need to take responsibility for yourself, learn what you need to know to make better decisions, and take action to make the changes you need. If you fail, it is on you. If you succeed, it is because you chose well. You will not need to wait for some 3rd party to step in or hope that what you get from that 3rd party is what you'll want. You can achieve prosperity and freedom by taking responsibility for yourself. Only then can you create the life you want for yourself!

Where's the Outrage??

Where's the Outrage??
Drs. Ricky and Larry Siegel hosted their weekly "Sex Talk with the Siegel Brothers" podcast to discuss the lack of outrage and political attention regarding women's issues, particularly following the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade. They examined how women's anger and advocacy efforts are often dismissed or marginalized, citing historical examples like the medicalization of "hysteria" and the recent decline of movements like Me Too. The brothers discussed various double standards affecting women's healthcare, economic opportunities, and personal autonomy, emphasizing how issues like abortion, contraception, and workplace discrimination impact women's lives and well-being. They concluded by urging men to actively support women's rights through voting and advocacy, arguing that women's issues are ultimately men's issues that require collective action to address.

Political Plots and Ploys
2026/10/22
Political Plots and Ploys
The government's decisions work against you, making it difficult to become wealthy. The government is not only inflating the currency but also owns part of over 30 companies. France has done this already with companies like the Renault car company. You can not use the old methods to get ahead. We need to recognize the ploys that the government officials are using prior to the election. A few weeks ago, we were not supposed to like Russia. Now, we have made a deal with them that bails us out with our lack of diesel. Politicians want to take the red diesel from farmers to give it to the truckers. They can make a lot of promises, but there are frequently unintended consequences that make things more difficult in the future. We need to be aware of the moral hazard of actions like bailouts. What is the trajectory of America? Join us as we talk about some of the plots and ploys that are going on this election season.

How to Rebuild Your Life After a Crisis: Finding Purpose, Resilience, and Joy
2026/10/21
Guest: Stratton Horres
Episode Overview
What happens when everything you've worked for suddenly changes?
After nearly 45 years as a successful trial lawyer, Stratton Horres received an aggressive cancer diagnosis that forced him to confront his mortality, leave his career, and rediscover who he was beyond professional success.
In this inspiring conversation with Dr. Allen Lycka, Stratton shares how a life-threatening diagnosis became the catalyst for profound personal transformation. From struggling with the loss of his professional identity to training for and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, he discovered powerful lessons about resilience, gratitude, love, and living with intention.
Drawing on his book, From Crisis to Kilimanjaro, Stratton reveals why overcoming adversity isn't simply about surviving difficult circumstances. It's about discovering who you are becoming.
Whether you're navigating a health crisis, approaching retirement, experiencing a major life transition, or searching for deeper meaning, this episode offers a fresh perspective on rebuilding your life after unexpected change.

Ask, Seek, Find

Ask, Seek, Find
In order to get what you want out of life, you will need to ask for help at some point. Why do some people find it difficult to ask for help? It is much easier to find someone who has accomplished what you want to do and ask them how they achieved it. Asking someone for help can save you time, effort, money, and hassle. If you already knew how to get what you want and did that, you would already have it all. We talk about where people get stuck as well as how to move forward. Asking for help can not only help you achieve more but it can bring joy to the person that you've asked to help. We talk about how both the bible and a billionaire talked about the same things to find success. Learn how you can use this to make your world a better place!

Gina Gardiner & Friends - Ravinol Chambers You Don't Find Purpose Once You Keep Discovering It
2026/10/20
Ravinol Chambers is an Irish-born monk turned movie maker, focusing on stories that cross boundaries and aim to connect us as humans, at the deepest level.
As a teenager in Dublin he wanted to be a stockbroker, but his search for deeper meaning was to take him east, on a very different journey.
After studying Psychology at university, he committed most of his twenties to a life of devotion, meditation and service, studying and living by the philosophy of the ancient Vedas, as a full-time Krishna monk.
During this time he spent a year living in India, studying the ancient books of wisdom alongside the culture and traditions that seek to support a life, lived in pursuit of higher ideals.
Ravinol and his British Indian wife have been happily married since 2006 and have two boys.
Making this film has challenged the gender roles in their own marriage and made them deeply consider the importance of bringing up their boys to be gender equitable, in a world that often sends messages to the contrary.
The film poses the question - how can we take tradition, culture and wisdom from the past, and bring it into the future, so it is practical and helpful?
'A Girl Can Touch The Sky' is Ravinol's debut feature-length documentary.

The Vault Expert - Beyond the Headlines: Intelligence, Prevention and Community Safety with Michelle Humphrey
2026/10/20
What if the key to preventing a crisis isn't more surveillance, but asking better questions before something goes wrong?
This week on The Vault Expert, host Patti Katter welcomes Michelle Humphrey of Servius Group, an intelligence professional with 20 years of experience supporting national security missions, including counterterrorism at the Department of Homeland Security, counterintelligence at FBI headquarters, and strategic intelligence supporting the Department of Defense.
Michelle shares how her father's experiences during the Iranian Revolution, her multicultural upbringing, and the events of September 11 shaped her path into intelligence analysis.
The conversation moves beyond the world of federal intelligence and into our own communities. From schools and businesses to churches and local law enforcement, Michelle explains how connecting information, recognizing warning signs, and building relationships can help organizations identify vulnerabilities before they become emergencies.
Patti and Michelle also tackle misconceptions surrounding surveillance, discuss career opportunities in intelligence, and explore why effective prevention often starts with listening to the people closest to a community.
It's a conversation about critical thinking, protecting others, and understanding the bigger picture before a crisis unfolds.

The Easy Way and the Hard Way
2026/10/19
The Easy Way and the Hard Way
Webster called the U.S. an "empire of reason." Are we continuing that tradition or straying from it? Do we understand how and why this country started? Some people don't even know what country we fought against to get our independence. If you don't understand the Constitution and what makes the U.S. different, then you will want to learn before making decisions that might get you farther from the life you want. While many of us believed what we heard on TV or from teachers, we have learned that too much propaganda has been used over many decades. We need to be able to think for ourselves so we can make our own decisions. Is it easier to just take a government handout or believe what a media person says? Maybe, but is it better for us in the long run? What would happen if we climbed the ladder ourselves? Initially, it may seem harder, but as you keep moving forward, it gets easier. How can we live the life we want? It won't come from hoping some third party will hand it to us. It will take action from us. Join us as we talk about some of the problems and solutions that are occurring. It doesn't matter if we have a high IQ, are starting with a lot of money, or have the physical skills that someone else has. What matters is how we achieve great things in spite of any the obstacles or challenges. Learn what you need to know to make the choices that lead to your success!
