Chris Johnston was the first guest on today's show. He first touched on Seth Jarvis being selected to team Canada, which then posed the question… Who should feel most snubbed? He then gave his thoughts on what Draisaitl had to say following the Oilers loss to the Flames. The trade deadline is looming, he shared whether or not the Oilers will be aggressive this year and finished with some words on the red hot Blue Jackets and Panarin signing in L.A. and not Seattle.   It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   We then dove into MMMMMM That's Good presented by The Italian Centre Shop.   Mike Garafolo wrapped up hour two on today's show. The boys started with some travel stories before we dove into the football talk. He touched on Sam Darnold, then gave his final thoughts on Super Bowl 60.

It's the final day of the week, meaning it's the final Nielson Show of the week. Lt. Eric made a veteran decision taking today and Monday off. So... The Dave Jamieson is stepping in for LTE.   The fellas start off the show by catching up, telling some stories, Febreze talk, Zach Hyman was snubbed and Skiier's are doing what at the Olympics!? We got Jamo's thoughts on the Elks offseason thus far.   Right after the break we discussed which is currently the biggest NHL rivalry… then we got into all sorts of Oilers talk. What's to blame the most, management, coaching, players and goalies.   To cap off hour one we Cracked Some Packs powered by Wayne's Sports Cards & Collectables.

What's going on, are the goalies the biggest issue, does the bottom six need to play more and who should the Oilers look to acquire come trade deadline. Luke Gazdic was the first guest on today's show. He started off with his thoughts on last night's Oilers game. Touched on the ice-time being deployed for the forwards, the struggles on the penalty kill and what's going on with the goaltending all the sudden. As the trade deadline approaches, he touched on whether they will make any acquisitions and finished with some words on Panarin getting traded to L.A..   It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   In the middle of hour two, we got into I Got Beef! What are the boys beefing about today?!   To finish off hour two, Reid Wilkins stopped by! He gave his thoughts on who's the funniest EST staff member, his beef and of course some Oilers talk following last night's 4-3 loss.

The Edmonton Oilers head into the Olympic break having lost their last three games. On today's show, we dive right into last night's game where the Oilers lost to the Calgary Flames by the score of 4-3. YIKES.   The boy's went around the room sharing the initial thoughts on last night's game. We then heard from a spicy Leon Draisaitl after last night's game.   After the break, we got right into The Prolux Lighting Morning After Show! In this segment, we took a deep dive into last night's game. What was the key moment, what the super stat and who were the fourth and 38th stars…   To finish off the hour, we heard from Kris Knoblauch after last night's loss and played a new YTT original called Eyes Wide Open after Trev said he could keep his eyes open for an hour.

He also shared his thoughts on where a potential Artemi Panarin destination could be. The Leafs are in town tonight so he gave us his thoughts on where this team is and where they're headed. He finished with a Super Bowl prediction.   It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   After the break we got into Weekly Confessions from Spectrum Rent All! What are the boys confessing today?   To finish off hour two we got Fired Up for Gemco Fireplaces. Today, YTT is fired up and Dusty FINALLY brought him the hard copies of Arlington Road and The Big Lebowski!

We are back with another edition of The Nielson Show coming at you this fine Tuesday morning and we've got an Oilers game to preview on today's show as the Edmonton Oilers welcome in the Toronto Maple Leafs. We start the show today by playing all sorts of tunes starting the Leafs rap song.   We then got right into The Morning Announcements to recap all the action last night in the NHL.   After the break, the fellas gave another legendary rendition of Tales of The North as the Oilers welcome in the Leafs.   We did eclipse 150 likes in the 6 o'clock hour, so we played another YouTube Trev banger about his championship over the weekend. Huge shoutout to Koskinen for putting this together.   We finished hour one with some Artemi Panarin discussion.

Darren Dreger was the first guest on today's show. He gave his initial thoughts on the Oilers play as of late. Is there still a goaltending problem or is this all defence? He gave his thoughts. He also touched on whether or not he thinks Calvin Pickard will be claimed off waivers. This week will be the Olympic Trade Freeze, he shared whether or not he thinks there will be any movement before the Olympic break. And we finished with some Olympic and Toronto Maple Leafs discussion.   It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   In the middle of hour two, we got into MMMMMM That's Good presented The Italian Centre Shop. What's good today was Dusty announcing that he is finally going to see LeBron James in March and how good the tampering window has been so far for the Elks after signing Taylor Powell.   To cap off hour two, Mike Tanier stopped by to give his thoughts on Belichick not being a first ballot hall of famer, what the biggest story is heading into Super Bowl 60, and his overall thoughts heading into that one.

Eric and YTT will touch on their weekends as we had The Second Annual EST Funspiel in which lots of fun was had!   Morning Announcements was the first segment we hit on today's show to recap everything that transpired in the world of sport.   The CFL tampering window is well on its way and that's what the boys discussed in the middle of the first hour.   To finish off hour one, we gave our good, our bad and ugly from the weekend.
