Freedom in Christ | Cory and Kristy Meade | Wilmington
2026/11/01
We don't typically think of ourselves as being prisoners of war, but one of the realities of this fallen world is that we live in a state of captivity. The good news is that Jesus sets us free from our captivity and our sin. But there is a cost in being free, in that the closer we want to be in Christ, the more of ourselves we have to give over to Him. Sometimes that means giving up things that we may like, or that feel comfortable. But if it's not Him, it's got to go.
Join us in Wilmington as Pastor Cory and Kristy Meade explore the reality of our freedom in Christ, and how we can access that freedom today.

What is Shaping Your Life? | Byron Wicker | Mooresville
2026/11/01
Peter described Lot as a righteous man, yet his life in Genesis is anything but righteous. How can we reconcile these two portrayals? This passage teaches us something important about righteousness: we can be righteous before God even as the world shapes our lives, which can bring much sorrow. Abraham was not perfect, but his life was marked by faith in God's promises, encounters with God, and a willingness to obey. He was God's friend. His relationship with the Lord shaped Abraham's life.
Join us in Mooresville as Head Pastor Byron Wicker explores the intersection between right standing and right relationship through the stories of Lot and Abraham.

Champion of the Lord | Byron Wicker | Mooresville
2026/10/25
When we think about becoming a champion, we often imagine someone who is strong, gifted, confident, and naturally equipped to succeed. We tend to think God would choose the most impressive people to accomplish His purposes. But God does not always choose the people we expect. He often chooses people the world would never select. You do not have to be impressive in the eyes of others to be useful in the hands of God.
Join is in Mooresville as Head Pastor Byron Wicker encourages us to fight for our calling with the knowledge that God has given it to us uniquely.

Hear, Listen, and Obey | Cory Meade | Mooresville
2026/10/18
In the story of Saul's disastrous reign as king, the Prophet Samuel reminds him that God values his obedience over sacrifice. Obedience can be a hard pill to swallow, as our humanity sometimes drives us to think that we know best in a given situation. But the Bible encourages us to hear, listen, and obey.
Join us in Mooresville as Pastor Cory Meade explores the Biblical notion of obedience and some of the things we struggle with in following through.

2026/10/11
Esau traded his birthright for a single meal, exchanging a lasting inheritance for temporary satisfaction. His story challenges us to consider whether fear, fatigue, or the desire for comfort has caused us to undervalue God's promises and plans for our lives.
Join us in Wilmington as Head Pastor Ryan Meade explores the value of our inheritance in Christ, the danger of trading God's best for temporary pleasure, and the grace of Jesus that forgives, restores, and empowers us to live differently.

2026/10/11
In times of transition, will we trust God for fresh direction or rely on what worked in the past? Through the contrasting stories of David and King Asa, the Bible reveals the danger of a religious spirit that substitutes formulas for relationship and success for obedience.
Join us in Chapel Hill as Head Pastor Matthew Bollinger encourages us to ask, listen, and obey Jesus, trusting Him to lead us through every new challenge in life.

The Well at the End of the Road | Byron Wicker | Mooresville
2026/10/11
Beersheeba lay at the southern edge of Israel's settled land. In a sense, it was the end of the road before the wilderness, the last place to find water before entering the desert. Yet sometimes what feels like the end of the road is actually a place of encounter, provision, and preparation for what lies ahead. Seasons change. Circumstances change. Our lives change. But God remains. The God who was faithful in the previous season remains faithful in the next.
Join us in Mooresville as Head Pastor Byron Wicker continues his exploration of wells in the Bible and what significance they carry your our spiritual walks.

The Well | Byron Wicker | Mooresville
2026/10/04
There's something about wells in the Bible. They provided water, but the were also places where people gathered, formed relationships, and had significant encounters with God. God has dug wells in our lives that we need to steward. Over the years, He has dug wells in our lives that we need to steward. Over the years, He has dug wells of His presence, faith, Scripture, revelation, worship, prayer, and relationships with Him and others. We must recognize when somethin or someone is trying to plug the well.
Join us in Mooresville as Head Pastor Byron Wicker explores the Biblical precedent of wells and applies them to our spiritual walks.

Join us in Mooresville as Pastor Cory Meade looks at what we can learn about loving our enemies from Jonah, who found that task to be too much.
