Starting Lineup Questions for the 2026-27 Sacramento Kings
2026/10/04
Nick and Ray borrow an exercise from Paul Garcia of Spot-Up Shot, who posed questions about the San Antonio Spurs, and ask themselves some questions about the Sacramento Kings starting lineup for the upcoming season, with the aim to revisit their predictions before the start of the next season. They go through their queries and predictions about the upcoming season for their projected starting lineup: Darius Acuff Jr., Zach LaVine, Keegan Murray, Maxime Raynaud, and Domantas Sabonis. They start out with Acuff Jr., speculating about his shooting development, his defensive adjustments to the NBA level, and how quickly he can learn to read NBA defenses. Then, they move on to LaVine, including questions about his playmaking responsibilities and his timeline with the team. After that, they cover Keegan Murray, discussing their expectations and hopes regarding his offense next season and his degree of defensive responsibilities. They cover Raynaud next, talking about his reported recent weight gain, his offensive development, and his potentially expanded defensive role. Finally, they wrap up by debating their questions about Domantas Sabonis, including his potential impact on the young players for the Kings and his future with the franchise.
