Kingdom Stories - Ep 2. ft. Lauren Dolson, Ashlea Russ, Jeremiah Weismann
2026/09/28
Lauren’s story is one of God reshaping her priorities through seasons of loss, uncertainty, and surrender. As she encountered God through His Word and community, He began to change her heart and redirect her focus toward the mission field right outside her door. Inspired by the story of her own parents—whose lives were transformed through a neighborhood Bible study that led their family to Christ—Lauren began opening her home and helping start a Bible study in her neighborhood. Through simple acts of obedience, she is now sharing the hope of Jesus and praying for generational impact right where God has placed her.

Ep. 183 - Your Story Is Part of the Story: The Blood, the Dragon & Our Testimony ft. Steve Griffioen, Jeremiah Weismann, Libby VanSolkema, Tryg Veker
2026/09/16
What does it mean to triumph over the dragon? Revelation 12 says we overcome “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” In this episode, we explore how the gospel gives us victory and how our stories become part of God’s bigger story. Matthew 1:5–6 shows this through Rahab, Ruth, and David—unlikely people whose stories became part of Jesus’ lineage. Your testimony matters. God is writing a story through you that extends beyond you. Preacher: Rod VanSolkema Text: Revelation 12, Matthew 1, Mark 5 Sermon Link: CLICK HERE
Ep. 182 - The Wolf Will Lie Down with the Lamb (Isaiah 65-66) ft. Cayden Kregel, Haley Kregel, Libby VanSolkema, Tryg Veker
2026/09/10
In this episode, we sit down with Resident College Pastor Cayden and his wife Haley to discuss the conclusion of Isaiah, where we get this beautiful picture of God restoring creation. All animosity between predator and prey is gone, all injustice is rectified, and the world is restored to the way it was always supposed to be. What does clinging to this hope mean? How would it change our lives now if we knew it? Preacher: Cayden Kregel Text: Isaiah 65-66 Sermon Link: CLICK HERE
Ep. 181 - The Tyranny of "Busyness" and the Hope of Jubilee (Is. 61) ft. Brent Becker, Shannon Popkin, Rod VanSolkema, Tryg Veker
2026/09/03
We live in a world that constantly tells us to do more, move faster, and keep up. But what if our busyness is keeping us from experiencing the freedom God intended for us? In Isaiah 61, Jesus announces the hope of Jubilee: a freedom from bondage, restoration for the broken, and good news for the weary. In this episode, we explore the tyranny of busyness and the invitation of Jesus to stop striving, receive His grace, and live from the freedom He provides. Ep. 180 - Come With Nothing To Offer (Isaiah 55-56) ft. Erik Veker, Matt Stowell, Libby VanSolkema, Tryg Veker
2026/08/27
We sit down with Middle School Pastor Erik Veker and Executive Pastor Matt Stowell to chat about Isaiah 55-56. In Isaiah 55–56, God invites the thirsty, the hungry, the broken, the outsider, and the one who feels unworthy to come and receive his grace freely. Yet our hearts are experts at finding reasons why the invitation couldn’t possibly include us: I don’t belong. I have nothing to offer. I’ve gone too far. God couldn’t really want me. In this episode, we walk through Isaiah 55–56 and explore the heart objections we bring to God’s grace: and the surprising ways God responds to each one. His invitation isn’t based on what we can bring to the table, how good we’ve been, or whether we feel worthy. It’s based on who he is. Ep. 179 - By His Wounds We Are Healed (Isaiah 53) ft. Hayleigh Amey, Rod VanSolkema, Libby VanSolkema, Tryg Veker
2026/08/22
We sit down with Hayleigh Amey to unpack Isaiah 53 which gets us to the heart of the gospel: our sin is potent, but Christ’s blood is more powerful. We unpack the paradoxes of salvation: that salvation is achieved through humiliation, received through humility, and that suffering is the pathway to glory. How can the suffering and rejection of one man accomplish salvation for many? And what does the humility of Christ mean for the way we receive the grace He has accomplished? Join us as we look deeper into Isaiah 53 and the suffering servant who was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities, and ultimately exalted in glory.
