Why the term "blue economy" won't attract investors with Pedro Bobião
2026/10/09

In today's episode, we speak with Pedro Bobião, founder and managing director of Vide de Grunwald, a Lisbon, Portugal-based consultancy specializing in territorial development, internationalization, and the blue economy. Bobião argues that "blue economy" isn't a helpful label when talking with outside investors. Instead, he says, seafood companies should pitch more specific, traditional business propositions that investors already know and understand.
