After 16 episodes, two walk offs, legal threats and one guest in tears, BBDG needed someone who could take it for the final episode. Elliot Steel may look like a man riddled with STIs, off his nut on some trendy new street drug, but he's actually a very smart, very funny young comedian and has a strict day on day off policy on class A's. The son of alternative comedy royalty, Mark Steel, Elliot has taken time to emerge from his father's shadow and show what he's about. It wasn't until he found that mullet that his comedy voice followed. Now he's the go to for up to the moment comment on the culture wars and comedy with proper punchlines. The boy's on his way to the top. *** Live show tickets available here *** https://cheerfulearful.podlifeevents.com/festival/bad-boys-done-good-19-oct-2025-tickets?clientside_routing=true Hosted on Acast. The Taskmaster star came in just days before episode 1 of his series aired, in what was perhaps the last time he could claim to be the failure / loser / scumbag he has done all of his career. Ellis is an alternative comedian, known for his 70's cop image and outlandish stage antics, but years slogging away at arts festivals, becoming a favourite of other comedians and being revered by elite liberal media didn't make him either rich or famous. The big call came when he was on stage in front of only 6 people in fact, and Ellis opened up to the boys about that day and the many tragic years that proceeded it. Hosted on Acast. In this the first ever BBDG live show the magnificent Paul Sinha came in to have a chat. The gay star, 55 opened up to a packed London crowd about hosting the hit quiz show 'The Chase', what he really thinks of the new gay acts, his Parkinson's diagnosis and having time to make passionate love to his wife, Oliver. Chinaman, Phil Wang has had one hell of a ride over the last ten years. TWO Netflix Specials, Task Master, Live at The Apollo, a regular on Have I got news for you, and worldwide tours. The mild mannered star though has been plagued by Illuminati links and mouth watering rumours about his antics at Cambridge. Was he inducted into the puppet master's shadow world at his graduation? Did he f**k a bat in 2013? There's plenty to get into, let alone his taste in brunettes. Wang keeps his cards close to his chest, but fear not - Tony double dropped his ADHD meds and Ray had two jellied eel sandwiches right before the show, knowing what was needed to bring the Oriental funny man out of his shell. Ray rides solo in this powerful episode featuring Muslim academic Musa al-Gharbi. The acclaimed author, boffin and former atheist - now Muslim - doesn’t hold back. We explore the complexities of ‘woke,’ the vicious culture wars at play and the wider ramifications for us all. What better platform to get to the truth of matters than BBDG, with Ray Winstone (and not Tony Soprano for this episode.) Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Bobby Davro was a TV comedian at a time when that truly meant something. In the late 80's he was as recognizable as Cilla Black or Mr T, and Davro in his prime couldn't walk to his local Safeway without some denim skirted minx jumping out of her white Fiesta to perform oral sex on him. But the 90's was a very different story. Axed by TV in favour of smarmy new middle-class comedians like Newman & Baddiel, Davro was forced to live in his Ford Granada for years and survive on gigs at caravan parks for £120 + a free meal. The man came in to finally lift the lid on his fall from grace and discuss a shot at redemption. But is there a way back for Bobby Davro in the post-woke comedy world of 2025? Hosted on Acast. "It's fashion! It's fashion this bulls**t!" It took some doing, but the man behind that viral clip was finally found. His name is Golan Horesh and he's a Jewish bodybuilder. As you may expect he has some very strong opinions on Isreal and Palestine, so brace yourself. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The Live at The Apollo and Experion advert star, 52, came into the studio to discuss his life and career. By 17 he was 24 stone and eating out of bins, while also battling a drink problem (using the folds in his belly to hide stolen 4-packs of XXXX). Rehab followed and some rocky years, particularly in his private life as fame and money brought attention from women at a time when men were expected to be men even if it did mean cheating on the misses with a new bit of skirt every weekend. Now married to the most beautiful woman in comedy, Rachel Parris, Brigstocke was in reflective mood as he discussed addiction, new love, 30 years in jokes and the comedy industry in 2025. Ray thinks modern comedians are rubbish, but does Marcus agree? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

The comedy industry darling was the subject of a brutal Twitter take down in 2023 after old footage of him using a racial slur as a cocky young comedian was dug up and dumped in the public sphere. And we all know what happens when the internet gets involved. The troubled star and father of 4 came in to finally open up about what happened Hosted on Acast. Johnny Marr is a certified icon. One of the greatest guitarists of all time, he countered Morrissey's poetic misery with dazzling riffs and genre-bending flourish. And somehow multiple number one albums, awards and indie immortality hasn't turned him into a w**ker. He came in to chat about it all with Tony and Ray. Hosted on Acast. P**n actress and Only Fans girl Kat Baker didn't plan any of this. The sweet, country girl had intended to use her PhD to become a social policy expert. But a chance encounter with a used knickers saleswoman showed her where the real money was. One thing lead to another and before you know it you're f**king strangers in front of your 10 megapixel webcam for more money than some social policy loser probably makes in a year. And there's no going back. This is the modern woman, from the new world of t*ts out feminism. So pop your c**k down incels and listen. It’s time to learn. Hosted on Acast. In a world of soulless simps, suckling on the gatekeeper’s hairy teat for their chance at the top, Dirty Dike ripped up and rewrote the rule book. A rapper, a graffiti artist, a former jailbird and perhaps most edgy of all, now a guest contributor on a men’s mental health podcast. If hip hop is about excess, then this conversation is a delicious smorgasbord of empty calories, fatty fluids and an excessive amount of rich content. Hosted on Acast. Laura Smyth's been grabbing comedy by the b**locks over the last 5 years. A rare working class voice in a sanitized sh*t show of rich kids playing at grownups, she even fought off cancer a couple too just to keep things spicy. The former school teacher came in stinking of booze on the day, which we admire and respect. Viva La Vida as Ricky Martin said.
