With less than two weeks before the midterm elections, a left wing online group has released a 30 minute video that features three men who claim the late Senator Lindsay Graham paid them for sex;  one of them says he was just 17 at the time. Graham suddenly passed away over the summer and his sister, Darline, is in a very tight race to retain her brother’s senate seat. Some conservatives have dismissed the video as an “open secret” and an attempt to distract South Carolina voters. One former lawmaker says it highlights something more serious, saying the secrets our leaders keep “comprise them in the most dangerous ways for the security, safety, and prosperity of our nation.” See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This is a bizarre story that needs more context to fully understand. 7 year pro and defensive lineman Jordan Elliot is off the Tennessee Titans after the team says he went to his car in the player parking lot to retrieve a gun after an altercation with a teammate. Those who know Elliot say this is completely out of character for the husband and father of four, and “was a call for help more than a criminal act." However, the NFL has a strict firearm policy; personnel are not allowed to bring guns anywhere at league facilities. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A shocking crime out of Georgia where an elderly woman is accused of killing her 75-year-old ex-husband and his new, 40-year-old girlfriend. 76-year-old Grace Edge turned herself into police after officials say she shot and killed the two and shot and injured the girlfriend’s mother. The sheriff told reporters that Edge and her ex had an on again, off again relationship and that she was “not accepting” of the new situation. To add some perspective to this unusual headline: Less than half a percent of ALL murderers in this country are 75 years or older.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

An Idaho prosecutor is seeking the death penalty against a 23-year-old woman charged with murdering her twin toddlers in 2025. Andrea Shaw has pleaded not guilty, claiming her 18-month-old twins got sick and died after receiving flu shots and their scheduled vaccinations. Prosecutors maintain that an autopsy revealed symptoms consistent with smothering and said suffocation "is the only conceivable explanation" for their deaths. The judge in the Lindsay Clancy case issued a surprise ruling Wednesday, dismissing an attempt by Clancy’s attorney to investigate the lone holdout juror in her murder trial. Kevin Reddington had filed a motion requesting access to the juror’s initial questionnaire, an examination of his cellphone and for him to be questioned in court, but the judge refused to move forward with any investigation into Michael Desronvil. Clancy’s team still has a motion to dismiss murder charges against Clancy in play, citing double jeopardy. That will be decided at the next hearing in early November, where both sides are expected to agree on a potential new trial date. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Would you give up your aisle seat - for a middle seat - on a 10 hour international flight so a couple could sit together? Tomiko Harvey just posted round two on her social media after receiving racist backlash for refusing to do just that. While the vast majority of the tens of thousands of people who have weighed in support Harvey’s decision to stay put, several have pointed out that posting a video of her seat mate crying and the mention of “white tears” lacked empathy and kindness.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Prince Harry opened up in a new interview with GQ, saying “yes of course” he wants to reconcile with his brother, Prince William and his father, King Charles. As Harry was describing the relatability of complicated family dynamics, he added that “Some people don’t want to work it out. I want to work it out.” Harry’s reps have had to clarify that the Prince was NOT referring to his brother or anyone else in the royal family. In the 42 minute interview, the Duke of Sussex also revealed new details about his decision to move his family back to England and what life has been like for his kids across the pond.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey made the rare decision to commute the death sentence of a 53-year-old man convicted in the 1995 killing of a sheriff’s deputy. Ivey said there was “not enough direct evidence to carry out the most serious punishment.” The current district attorney has taken it a step further, publicly voicing concerns about prosecutorial misconduct, asking the courts to overturn Toforest Johnson’s conviction and grant him a new trial. Johnson has maintained his innocence from the beginning, with at least 10 witnesses who corroborate Johnson was nowhere near the scene of the murder and zero physical evidence tying him to the crime. In the race for Ohio Governor, billionaire Republican and Trump ally Vivek Ramaswamy has acknowledged his campaign is behind one of the uglies campaign ads ever released. In it, his opponent, Democrat Dr. Amy Acton’s birth mother calls her own daughter a liar and says she has a serious problem. The real problem, Acton hasn’t seen her birth mother since 1978 when she was 12.  Acton was removed from her mother’s home after her stepfather was charged with raping her between the ages of 10 and 12. Her mother chose her husband over her children and now is smearing her publicly.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
