In this important episode, we sit down with Suzanne Greco—survivor, theologian, advocate, PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh, and founder of Italian Parish Records—to talk about the unimaginable journey that transformed her life. After disclosing child sexual abuse and leaving an abusive marriage, Suzanne found herself confronting not only personal trauma, but systemic failures inside religious institutions meant to protect the vulnerable. Her advocacy work would eventually take her all the way to the United Nations and alongside Pope Francis in the global fight to protect children and support survivors. Suzanne shares intimate through-the-veil experiences that occurred during one of the darkest seasons of her life—including visitations from her abusive husband’s deceased siblings, who came to comfort and support her as she prepared to leave her marriage. She also recounts a profoundly healing encounter with an LDS clergyman whose unexpected words became a pivotal part of her spiritual and emotional recovery. Jeffrey Olsen: In Part 2 of our conversation with Jeff Olsen, we continue exploring the profound insights he gained from his Near-Death Experience following the tragic automobile accident that changed his life forever.
