In this episode, I’m joined by Phil aka Specimen A and Ivory as they step into a new chapter together. We go deep into their journey through the breaks and underground scene, how their collaboration came about, and the process and reasons for their new incredible album Girls Money Drink and Drugs. We also talk about launching Knuckle Duster Records, what it means to take ownership, and the realities of creating something on your own terms. Honest, raw and most importantly real, this one is about music, identity and building without compromise.

In this episode, we are joined by High Rankin, a DJ, producer and plugin creator who is notorious in drum and bass and dubstep for creating some of the funniest and most memorable tracks and videos the scene has ever seen. He is an artist who has gone viral multiple times, toured the world, and lived the full reality of being a full time dance music artist. We talk through his career, unforgettable and wild moments, questionable business ideas, choreographed dancing DJs, hiding in cupboards, if Cilla Black is still alive and plenty more. We were really looking forward to recording this episode, and it delivered on every level.

In this episode, I’m joined by Fatty from PENGSHUi a band blending heavy metal, bass music and grime into music and live shows that make them one of the most exciting acts in the UK right now. We talk origins, how some of their biggest tracks were created, building energy for the live show, remixing The Prodigy twice, and what it takes to make it when you do not fit neatly into any scene. Raw, funny, and properly real, if you care about artists who still take risks and show the world who they truly are, this episode is for you!

Quick check in from me, talking through what I’ve learnt so far from the podcast, what’s coming next, and why it’s never been more important or urgent to double down on whatever you’re feeling creatively. Thank you again to everyone who listens, shares, and reaches out. Lots more to come in 2026........

From punchy, high impact drums to some of the most recognisable sample packs in electronic music, his work has shaped how a generation of producers make tunes. In this very special episode, I’m joined by an actor whose presence on screen and stage has made him one of the most distinctive faces in British film and television. Jamie Kenna has played leading roles in Peaky Blinders, Brassic, House of the Dragon, Coronation Street, and films like Green Street and Stormbreaker. In this episode I'm joined by a legend whose name is stamped into the foundations of jungle and drum & bass. DJ Hype is one of the true originals a DJ, producer, label boss, and tastemaker who helped shape not just the sound, but the attitude of the culture. From pirate radio and sound clashes to dancefloor anthems, he’s always brought razor sharp skill, uncompromising energy, and a deep connection to the roots of what makes this music what is it is. For me personally, he was also the very first dj I ever saw in a rave all the way back at Dreamscape 12 so this is a very special episode for me and we go deep on music, family, life and everything in between

In this episode, I sit down with two absolute legends of the jungle and drum and bass scene  Brockie & Det. Its no exaggeration to say this is a DJ & MC duo who helped shape the sound and spirit of an entire culture and this conversation goes far beyond the usual history. But beyond the music, Tom’s story is one of self discovery. Recently diagnosed with ADHD, he’s gained a new understanding of himself, one that’s reshaped his outlook and deepened his connection to who he truly is.
