The month of January has come to a close and the Oregon State Beavers have made a strong rebuilding effort heading into the first year of the JaMarcus Shephard era. That being said, there's still plenty to do make sure that the program is in a good place before spring football begins - given what was lost and what the last staff produced. One of his first fires to put out may end up being the loss of his defensive coordinator, Lance Guidry, who has barely been the Oregon State DC for a week. It's not the only problem that Shephard has to deal with as he continues to put together a roster for the 2026 campaign. Since his hiring and subsequent arrival in Corvallis, new Oregon State football coach JaMarcus Shephard has wasted no time in putting his staff together. The Beavers have brought in a host of new position coaches to help jumpstart their development on both sides of the ball.
