Exorcism in the Exam Hall
2026/02/03
Strange things can happen in peculiar places, and at rather peculiar times, especially if you've wandered off into a strange place yourself.   In the first story, a friend recounts his experience after touring through some of the old cities in Shanghai. As he flies off to Dubai to meet with a friend, he feels a heavy weight following him, and he wakes up in the middle of night in a trance.   In the second story, this same friend recounts another experience from when he was younger. He was out playing with some friends when they come across a strange abandoned hut in the middle of nowhere. Curious, one of the boys ventures in and comes out unscathed, but a few days later, that same boy would start freaking out and cursing in the middle of an exam hall.   If you would like to submit your stories or send Genesis a message, you can head over to @tmgn_podcast on Instagram.   This podcast is brought to you by Mediacorp. The Man Covered In Mud
2026/01/27
There are some weird things you see that you can probably explain away as pure coincidence, but when you keep them again and again, you might want to reconsider.   In the first story, a listener shares about her experience while she was in university and staying with 2 housemates outside of campus. One night, she is in between waking states when she notices a presence by her door, a tall figure filling out the length of her door frame, and seemingly holding a phone to record her sleeping.   In the second story, a man and his girlfriend are out driving late at night when they see a strange man covered in filth and mud, standing by the side of the highway and staring out into the darkness. Thinking nothing of it, they proceed along with their drive until they see the same filth-covered man a couple of minutes later, and then again, and then again.   If you would like to submit your stories or send Genesis a message, you can head over to @tmgn_podcast on Instagram.   This podcast is brought to you by Mediacorp. The Midnight Traffic Jam to Nowhere
2026/01/20
No one likes to wait in a traffic jam. But what if the cause of the jam wasn't really there to begin with?   In the first story, we recount the story of Pam during her childhood. While on the way home, a strange older man in a car pulls up to her and offers a lift. Feeling tense, she rejects his offer and starts to rush home with greater urgency, only to hear footsteps following closely behind.   In the second story, a group of friends are heading home after a night out when they come across a long line on the highway. Since there were emergency vehicles at the front, they assumed that it was some kind of accident that was being cleared, but after waiting for nearly half an hour, they get impatient and step outside to find out what's really going on.   If you would like to submit your stories or send Genesis a message, you can head over to @tmgn_podcast on Instagram.   This podcast is brought to you by Mediacorp. Our eyes sometimes plays tricks on us that the mind cannot comprehend. But what would you do if you faced such a situation? Would you follow what you saw, or would you turn the other way? In the first story, we recount the story of Chen in his younger days. Once, Chen and his friend snuck out of their school to play at a nearby industrial park. After a while, they noticed that there was a funeral procession going on, except that there was something else on top of the coffin.   In the second story, Jack is travelling with his family and staying at a remote Airbnb villa near a forest. While relaxing with his younger sister Ellie just outside the villa, he notices her walking towards a trail in the woods, wearing her bright yellow sweatshirt. Jack followed her from a distance, watching the yellow jacket move steadily and unhurriedly deeper into the forest, past a point the Airbnb owners had warned them not to cross. But despite Jack calling her name, the figure never turned around or acknowledged him   If you would like to submit your stories or send Genesis a message, you can head over to @tmgn_podcast on Instagram.   This podcast is brought to you by Mediacorp. "Hello, Friend"
2025/12/09
Some phone calls should never ever be picked up, especially when they come in the middle of the night from your hotel bathroom.   In the first part of this episode, Genesis relates some parts of her recent trip to Cambodia. But aside from the food and the ancient structures, what was most intriguing were the stories shared by her fellow travelers at their hotel. Including a mysterious taped up door, and a constant phone ringing late into the night.   In the second part of the episode, Genesis shares a story from "flaming puppy" from the time his dad purchased an old Victorian house. Despite being excited to move in at first, he would quickly discover many strange things happening around the old house; footsteps, opening doors, and the ghostly sight of a little girl.   If you would like to submit your stories or send Genesis a message, you can head over to @tmgn_podcast on Instagram.   This podcast is brought to you by Mediacorp. They were living in a tight knit community with dozens of houses packed in together, when one of their members passed. This unfortunately, would spark the start of a series of bizarre incidents: banging on the walls, clanging on the ceilings, and sightings of a strange figure loitering in the dark that many claimed to be similar to that of the recently deceased.    If you would like to submit your stories or send Genesis a message, you can head over to @tmgn_podcast on Instagram.   This podcast is brought to you by Mediacorp. "Did We Just Die?"
2025/10/14
Some experiences are so creepy that it will leave you questioning if you are actually dreaming, or if you have just died.   In the first story, a couple of friends are having fun driving about at night when they miss a stop sign and are met with a thick wall of trees. And for a few moments, all goes black, the engine dies, the forest is silent, and the world seems to stand still, leading one of them to ask "did we just die?"   In the second story, a couple of friends go out for lunch with their kids after picking them up from school. After sending them home however, one of them texts the other saying that she had left her hand sanitizer in her car, only for her friend to remark that hers was still firmly clipped to her purse.   Clip that Genesis mentioned at the start of the episode: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DO-urPDD2b1/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link   If you would like to submit your stories or send Genesis a message, you can head over to @tmgn_podcast on Instagram.   This podcast is brought to you by Mediacorp.
