Who does he think will take it all this weekend? What are his thoughts on the Oilers right now? He also brings in some questions to ask during Buying or Selling.   The conversation plunges into the Oilers as we have The Oil... Understood. What are the keys for the Oilers to have a good stretch run? How do they need to pivot exiting the break? Do they have holes in their roster to prevent them from finding success? Can they fix those issues?   Words of the Day for the Edmonton Public Library sends us into the weekend, as Reid has to spell and define two odd English words Jay found in the dictionary.

Let's get Fired Up for the Super Bowl! Co-host Jay Milne names multiple prop bets for the big game, having host Reid Wilkins sprinkle some dough on what Jay's cooking up! What colour will the Gatorade be? Will someone run on the field? Who wins the coin toss? What about Bad Bunny at the halftime show? They get into those props, betting some real gameplay props as well.   We then have some fun as producer Zach 'Koob' Kubusch presents Name the Animal. He wrangled in some animal sounds for the boys to guess the origin. After that, the boys share some jokes before reading a very weird but interesting story surrounding Olympic skiers.

It's an interesting time in sports with the Olympic opening ceremonies underway, and the Super Bowl kicking off on Sunday! Reid Wilkins and Jay Milne deliver live updates of the ceremony before Reid tests Jay with some Olympic trivia. He names a name, with Jay guessing the game they played.   Then EST's own Ben Thomson gets into the mix, joining the fellas in the studio to have a Super Bowl-based Keep 3, Cut 5, naming eight separate things from a random Super Bowl topic. Wilkins and Milne have to list them without knowing what comes next. Once it’s all said and done, they compare their lists and discuss what they would’ve swapped.   We tap into some fan responses on all the action before asking fans which Alberta small town is the best fit to host the Winter Olympics. Jay then splashes some cash on Super Bowl LX during Jay's Play of the Day!

With no Oilers hockey until the end of the month, how does the squad regroup? How did they react following a disappointing finish down south? And most importantly: What’s wrong with this team right now? Is it coaching? Overall execution? Defensive breakdowns? Lack of depth? Reid Wilkins and Jay Milne carve deeper into the team, navigating what needs to change moving forward.   They take a broad view of things to look at some player contracts the team inked in the offseason. Wilkins and Milne critique the Oilers while also discussing some positive things they’ve taken away from the team’s recent stretch of play.   Veteran Leon Draisaitl illustrated his candid thoughts during his postgame media scrum, sharing some strong views on his team. He expressed what he thinks is going wrong this season, pointing fingers at himself, his coaches, goalies, defence, and the overall team. Reid and Jay discuss what was said, playing some of his audio bites throughout the hour.   They then explore the approach of HC Kris Knoblauch. Who does he trust on the team? Why is he struggling to guide the team? Is it time to consider a coaching change? Reid and Jay have a lot to say about Knoblauch and whether or not he can get more out of his team.   We also have our weekly segment for Pasta Pantry as we name the Athlete of the Week. Dallas Reynolds, a Canadian war veteran, joins us to describe how he became a motorcycle racer overseas. Reynolds was a sniper in the military. He tells us how he got into that.
