From disease-carrying pests to terrorists whose plots were thwarted, we’re covering threats big and small—and the people fighting back.

Sharp questions, wild stories, and a lawyer’s eye for the evidence.

Ep 170- Who Really Runs Missouri?
2026/09/28
Is Missouri really a red state if Republicans keep winning elections but still can’t control public policy?
This week, the U.S. Supreme Court dealt the final blow to Missouri’s 7–1 congressional map for the 2026 election, forcing the state back to the old 6–2 districts. I’ll explain how we got here — and why November’s Amendment 6 could shift even more power away from Missouri’s elected legislature and toward ballot campaigns and the courts.
Plus: the Golden Cabinet Report after a huge week for Trump, Xi, Iran and the United Nations; Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed versus Bill Maher; the incredible “Paging Hezbollah” story and Benjamin Netanyahu’s extraordinary U.N. speech; five cops accused of abusing Flock license-plate cameras to track women in their personal lives; the class-action lawsuit racket; and September 27 in history.
It’s politics, law, culture and the stories everybody will be talking about Monday — on The Jennifer Bukowsky Show. Follow on X- @esqonfire
(LISTEN): Mizzou TPUSA president Nate Vass appears on "Wake Up Missouri"
2026/09/25
Mizzou officials say the individual seen on video at this week’s Turning Point USA event in Columbia is NOT a Mizzou student and has been trespassed from campus. The person addressed Turning Point USA leaders on-campus. The video shows a representative of Turning Point USA asking the person “So you are for people being killed for freedom of speech.” The person responded “Yeah, absolutely.” Mizzou TPUSA president Nate Vass was live on 939 the Eagle's "Wake Up Missouri" and tells listeners that the individual who said that is "evil." Mr. Vass says there were about 250 people in the crowd for the event:

It's still unclear which congressional map will appear on Missouri's November ballot. Boone County clerk Brianna Lennon appeared live on 939 the Eagle's "Wake Up Missouri." The Jennifer Bukowsky Show Ep. 169 - Greenland!
2026/09/20
America may not have bought Greenland — but did it just get the keys?
Jennifer breaks down the latest developments involving Greenland and why the Arctic suddenly matters so much for U.S. national security, Russia and China. Plus, a major week of diplomacy is beginning in New York, with China talks, the United Nations General Assembly and a Trump–Xi meeting approaching.
Back home in Missouri, a new proposed class action could seek roughly $80 million over Secretary of State Denny Hoskins’ handling of the congressional-map referendum. Jennifer explains where that number comes from, what the plaintiffs actually have to prove, and where the increasingly complicated Missouri congressional-map litigation stands now.
Also this week: the Golden Cabinet Report, the latest criminal cases making headlines, the federal government’s new focus on artificial intelligence, Kamala Harris and 2028 speculation, the battle for Congress in the midterms, and a lightning-round look at stories you may have missed.
It’s two hours of law, politics, foreign affairs and the stories everyone will be talking about next week on The Jennifer Bukowsky Show.

Jennifer Bukowsky Show Ep 168 - Missouri Map Madness, KU’s Slave-State Smear & the RNC Midterm Convention
2026/09/13
Jennifer is back from the first-ever RNC Midterm Convention in Dallas with behind-the-scenes observations, her favorite moments, and the clips you probably didn’t see.
Then we come home to Missouri — where things got completely insane.
KU decided to hype the Border War by portraying Missouri as the villainous slave state of Civil War history. Jennifer digs into what KU’s video got wrong, the history it conveniently left out, and Mizzou Coach Eli Drinkwitz’s response after the Tigers took care of business on the field.
Plus: Missouri Map Madness. A state Supreme Court ruling, an emergency trip to SCOTUS, a federal judge issuing the opposite order, a contempt threat against the Secretary of State — and finally the U.S. Supreme Court stepping in. Jennifer explains what happened, which congressional map Missouri will actually use in November, and what voters will decide next. Also on the show:
*RIP Charlie Kirk, one year after his assassination — including his Missouri connection and the campus visit that never happened.
*25 years after 9/11, a look back at the victims, heroes, and some questionable behavior from politicians at Ground Zero.
*The Missouri Republican state House candidate accused by federal prosecutors of plotting to plant cocaine and Adderall on his political rival.
*New calls to investigate longstanding immigration-fraud allegations involving Rep. Ilhan Omar — and why immigration consequences can operate differently from ordinary criminal statutes of limitation.
*The Golden Cabinet: who had the best week inside the Trump administration?
It’s politics, law, history, Missouri and plenty of things to argue about.
(LISTEN): Missouri Attorney General Hanaway reacts to state Supreme Court decision on "Wake Up Missouri"
2026/09/04
Barring intervention from the U.S. Supreme Court, Missouri voters will cast ballots in November on a referendum which will ask if they accept or reject the congressional map approved by the GOP-controlled Legislature in September 2025. In a 7-0 decision, the state Supreme Court reversed the Cole County Circuit Court's decision that the state Constitution's referendum power does not apply to the Legislature's congressional redistricting. Democrats praise the ruling and say the court followed the law, but Republicans blast it. Attorney General Catherine Hanaway calls the ruling a disaster for Missouri voters. She joined Randy Tobler and Jennifer Bukowsky live this morning on "Wake Up Missouri":
The Jennifer Bukowsky Show Ep 167 - The Manipulation Machine
2026/08/30
Who is actually talking to you — and who’s paying them?
This week, we dig into the increasingly murky world of political persuasion: China-linked influence operations targeting American debates, politicians quietly paying social-media influencers, and a new push in Congress to force more disclosure about who is really behind the messages showing up in your feed.
Then: Are Republicans headed for a midterm wipeout? Democrats are heavily favored to take the House, the once-safe Republican Senate firewall is suddenly looking shaky, and races in places like Texas, Alaska, Ohio and Iowa are flashing warning signs. We break down whether a 2026 blue wave can still be stopped.
Plus, the **Golden Cabinet** returns with a potentially enormous Venezuela oil deal, Scott Bessent's economic war against Iran, Todd Blanche's very busy week at DOJ, and an America First dilemma over the price of beef.
Also on the docket: Meta's massive multistate settlement over kids and social media; the extraordinary 25-year legal saga of alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed; the Lindsay Clancy murder trial; a farewell to Dolly Parton; DOJ's latest targets; and a trip through August 30 in history.
