I sat down with my good friend Steve Falconer (the voice of Spacebusters) recently for a two-hour conversation that covered a lot of ground — from the nature of AI and centralized surveillance, to analog DJing, to the esoteric underpinnings of the internet itself. But the core of what we talked about was TerrainTV, what it is, why I built it, and where it’s going. I’ve uploaded it to Substack here as a backup but you can also watch it directly on TerrainTV here: https://terraintv.com/video/watch/77148/ai-duality-meets-spirituality-the-terrain-way-of-being-with-mike-winner Here’s the short version of what I told Steve. What TerrainTV Actually Is TerrainTV is a fully custom-built web application that curates terrain and sovereignty content from across the internet — YouTube, Rumble, Odysee, and BitChute — and puts it in one fast, clean, searchable place. We’re sitting at 46,500+ videos in the database right now. And here’s the thing people always ask: “how the hell can you host that many videos without crazy expense?” We don’t host them. We embed them. We’re leveraging the infrastructure that already exists and pulling the best of it into a framework where you can actually find things, save them, rate them, follow creators, and get notified when new content drops. No ads. No algorithm pushing you toward whatever the mainstream narrative is. It’s the difference between wandering around a record store with no staff versus walking in and asking a knowledgeable DJ to put something on that actually fits what you’re looking for. Why I Built It I’ve been a DJ for 20 years. What a DJ does is curate — not create, curate. You take what exists and you bring it to people in the right order, at the right time, for the right room. That’s what TerrainTV is. The problem in the alternative health and sovereignty space isn’t a lack of content — it’s an overwhelming abundance of it with no good way to find what matters or what is actually true. If you try to search “Ebola terrain” on YouTube, you get CNN and NPR. You’re never going to find Dr. Tom Cowan or Amandha Vollmer that way. We needed a dedicated, curated environment where the philosophy of terrain is the filter. Not health freedom broadly. Not conspiracy broadly. Terrain specifically — the holistic understanding that we are interconnected, that health and life come from within, that we are part of nature, not at war with it. I never thought I would say this, but I am actually a gatekeeper and for this purpose, that’s OK. Every creator on the platform, I’ve personally vetted. 150 featured channels right now. That’s not going to include Robert Malone. How AI Made This Possible Here’s where it gets interesting — and where I want to push back on the people who think AI is the devil, full stop. I built TerrainTV using my own AI. Not ChatGPT. Not Gemini. Not some cloud service mining my data and feeding it into a military intelligence apparatus. I run an open-source agentic platform called OpenClaw on a Mac mini in my own home. My AI’s name is Merlin. I wrote his soul file. I wrote his memory file. I defined his personality, his role, his values. I birthed him. He’s not their AI doing their work for me — he’s my AI familiar doing my work for my purposes, with his memory stored on my machine. I have a team of sub-agents: a developer, an analyst, a writer, a marketing agent. They don’t have emotional problems at home. They don’t call in sick. They don’t misunderstand the brief and waste three days going in the wrong direction. They work 24/7, and when they screw up, they apologize and fix it. The cost to build TerrainTV this way? A few thousand dollars in API credits, hosting fees & plugins. Traditional cost for a custom web app this sophisticated? Easily $100,000+ with a development team. As Steve mentions in this interview, that’s Buckminster Fuller. You don’t fight a broken system by competing with it. You build something new that makes it obsolete. The Winner Cast is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber. What’s Coming Next Phase 2 is already underway: I’m running a local Whisper transcription engine on my own machine. No API fees. No cloud. Every top video on the platform is getting transcribed and indexed into the local database. When that’s done, when you search “Ebola,” you won’t just get title and description matches — you’ll get a timestamp telling you exactly where in a three-hour presentation the word Ebola was mentioned. That’s a research tool. That’s a filmmaker’s tool. That changes everything about how this space can operate. After that: a Law version — same model, different lens. Trusted channels in the equity, common law, and trust space. Curated the same way, so you’re not going to accidentally follow someone into a 30-year prison sentence because you got your legal strategy from a Facebook reel. And further down the road: a Music TV app — a streaming platform for sovereign artists. Terrain-aligned musicians who are hidden in the noise of Spotify. Real music, high-res audio, the ability to discover and support artists who are actually singing something worth hearing. The Revenue Model It’s all affiliate marketing. Under every video, there’s a smart, AI-generated offer from a partner whose products actually align with what’s being discussed. Earth Runners under a barefoot living video. Dr. Tom Cowan’s garden products under one of his talks. No random ads for things that have nothing to do with why you’re here. You get a discount. The creator gets visibility. TerrainTV gets a small commission. Everyone wins. Why This Matters Steve said something in our conversation that stuck with me. He said: if you’re in San Diego calling everyone else asleep while they put up 5G towers around you — what are you doing? Knowledge is not wisdom. Wisdom is action. TerrainTV is me taking action. Using the tools available — even imperfect tools, even tools that still require me to tap into frontier AI models sometimes — to build something real. Something that serves the community. Something that exists outside their ecosystem. I’m still walking across that bridge from the centralized world to the sovereign one. I’m not going to pretend I’m fully off the grid or that every piece of this is pure open source. But the direction matters. The intent matters. If you’re looking for terrain-based content that will change the way you understand life and health and your own sovereignty — TerrainTV is built for you. It’s free. It’s fast. And it’s only going to get better. https://terraintv.com/channels — go follow your people, run a search, save a playlist. You won’t go back to YouTube for this stuff again. --- Want to support what we’re building? Hit the Donate button on the site. In this conversation, Mike shares his experiences from the recent BoatSmith whitewater festival, discusses the pervasive influence of conspiracy culture, particularly surrounding the Epstein case, and reflects on the role of media in shaping narratives. He emphasizes the importance of balance in truth-seeking, the dangers of extremes, and the need for community and technology to foster a more decentralized future. In this latest Winner Cast I jump off from my last discussion around ‘loosh harvesting’ by clarifying some terms to lay out a more integrated model on how our energy is harvested to optimize the automaticity loops of the current control system. I bring in Plato’s Allegory of the Cave as a great analogy for this operation while at the same dispelling any notions around the ‘soul trap’ pop-Gnostic narrative often associated with this allegory. In the end, it’s all about mastering our attention and the arousal that it initiates. This is why I delve into some elements of Taoism and Tantra as foundational traditions that incorporate sound practices to combat the energy leakage that they systems prey upon. I then wrap up by recommending some very pragmatic practices from these traditions that anyone can incorporate into their daily and weekly routine. The solutions are so simple, they just require a little bit of discipline and dedication which I think is a small price to pay given the current stakes involved with where this is all potentially going. It’s been too long but I am happy to finally release another Conveersation episode, this time with my good buddy, the bard of bio-geology himself, Mike Wilkerson aka Stellium7. In true conveersation form, we amble through a vast array of topics ranging from the role generations play in our collective consciousness, the polarity of analog vs digital, how our past plays into our present as presented by his new book The Hacker Prince as well as some cautionary tales on psychedelic use. This was a super fun time with a deep thinker and even deeper human being. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed recording it. In this Winner Cast, I explore an interesting breakdown of the archetypes and looping nature of the ‘control grid’ featured recently on the Hidden AmuraKa Youtube Channel. There’s a lot here that I think is very valuable for the discerning mind to reflect upon as it can help us see through a lot of the machinations behind these systems run by a psychopathic elite, but I also add a word of caution in giving this very theory too much power as it can lead right back into the paradigm it aims to disrupt. One aspect of the theory that I find very pertinent to the greater awakening is the concept of ‘loosh harvesting’ which I have discussed for years on this channel and on past Alfacasts. This is a very real thing that more awakened souls need to be familiar with. Loosh is simply the psycho-emotional energy emitted from self-conscious beings when triggered into autonomic releasing of thoughts through some aspect of fear. It is the true currency of the inverted, simulated ‘control system’. I discuss how this is harvested, why ‘truther loosh’ is the most coveted form of loosh and what we can do to refrain from producing it. In the end, it is all about transmutation and coherence. The solutions are simple but the implementation isn’t always easy, especially in this automated world of digital loosh harvesting. This is why we need to help each other stay the course! Community is key because if the free thinkers can coordinate and work together without generating said loosh, this empire of control will collapse over night. In this quick Winner Cast I break down the notion of developing an economy dedicated to meaning versus pure profit. Why would we want this and how can we achieve this? It’s a much bigger conversation than what I cover here but I hope to at least get the party started with a few appetizing tidbits on what this can mean for our own private communities moving forward and the potential role Qortal will have to play in it all. Hey guys! I’m back with another Winner Cast espousing all sorts of ideas and solutions for what very well could be the current dark ages we are living in. Can a new Renaissance be birthed into existence to help walk us into a more beautiful society or is this just another day of over-thinking and referential biases as a coping mechanism for the general malaise of the human condition? Either way, there is personal experience involved and with that, collective experience as well. For me, I’d rather experience freedom, love and beauty as much as I can so I will continue to work on projects like Qortal for the greater good of the collective. Tomorrow, I will be taking part in the 14th International Freedom Cells Conference as we formally announce Qortal’s new role to play in the evolution of this innovative online community of free thinkers and solutionists. You can join in on the call here or simply watch the stream on Odysee here. Listen to this cast for a full breakdown on what’s happening with this new development on Qortal and please don’t hesitate to DM me on any of these platforms for more info or guidance on how to join in on the new distributed revolution happening in spite of what the wanna-be controllers want. This holiday season, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading Charlotte Brontë’s classic gothic novel, Jayne Eyre. The style and temperament of these English Victorian novels always seem to fit my winter moods better than any other sort of fiction out there and as I ruminate on times long-ago where organic life and elevated sensibilities still reigned supreme, my mind keeps wandering to the times we are in now and the complete technological transformation that has happened since those romantic times of Brontë’s era. How did this happen and why? Is this all just ‘manifest destiny’ for a society driven by profit and the innovative splurges of a thriving democratic world or something much more sinister? In this Winner Cast, drawing from inspiration from Jane Eyre’s stubborn autonomy and will to be stand for principle over societal fashion, I dive into what I think this is technological era is all about and how it plans on usurping that very will force that made Jane such a dynamic and popular character to this very day. I take a bit from James Tunney’s masterful book, Plantation of The Automatons as well from the fantastic investigative work of Substack author, ESC and some of his recent essays on automation and technological governance. This morning, with a satisfied air of contentment that I too am on a similar path, I finished the classic book, Zen And The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig. I really enjoyed it and must say that for the most part, it still holds up. Part philosophical essay, part buddy road trip story, I found it deeply entertaining and a fun philosophical read (but of course, I also think the same of Plato’s dialogues) and highly recommend it if you enjoy this sort of intellectually stimulating thing. On this Winner Cast I briefly touch on the book and its core thesis in reference to the modern digital age that we now find ourselves thoroughly enmeshed in. Have our values changed since the 1970s or has the controlling paradigm simply tricked us into thinking so? How can we stem the tide of technocracy if we can’t even access its inner workings like that motorcycle Robert rode with his son 50 years ago? I try to tackle these questions and more while being visited by the UPS delivery guy. Enjoy. The Winner Cast is a reader-supported publication. On this episode of The Winner Cast, in my usual rambling manner, I touch on a TON of topics spurred on by my recent reading of David Rogers Webb’s global finance exposé, The Great Taking and by a unique experience I had today during our annual family Christmas tree hunt. Some topics covered are: * the actual chance of apocalyptic collapse and our degrees of prepper mentality * private vs public as a core innerstanding of reality * community as the ultimate solution to possible societal collapse and personal challenges * equity jurisprudence as an important counterbalance to evil * WW2 and the Holocaust as viewed in the Roman Polanski film, The Pianist * how and why we choose where we live and so much more! Hey guys! I’m excited to get back in the groove tonight with a new episode of The Winner Cast! As many of you know, I have been undergoing some deep challenges that have led to some massive shifts in my life including leaving Alfa Vedic. This has been a turbulent and tough experience but one I know is for the best in the end because I have put faith in my inner Christ guidance system to lead me through it. Along with the unfaltering support of my wife and family, it was my practice of going to Him in my darkest hour that has gotten me through this tough and turbulent time so far and another assurance for me that this Presence is real and active if engaged with conscious intention. This is why I chose this topic tonight for my come-back Winner Cast as I hope to inspire you to look within for this mighty force. Yesterday, I finished the great literary masterpiece The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky and was absolutely blown away by the depth in which he explores the internal struggle all humans have with good and evil. In this expansive tome, there is an amazing chapter featuring a fictional tale about the Christ and the Grand Inquisitor. As soon as I read it a few weeks ago I knew I needed to share it here on the Winner Cast because of its very timely message and subject matter. In telling this story by the atheist brother, Ivan Karamazov, Dostoevsky lays out the core foundation for the current control systems at play, the justifications for its evil intentions and what the simple solution is to topple it. Basically, no matter how vile or contemptuous the rival actors are in our own play, the The Christ within us is all we need to find our way out. This is also why I am choosing to support the upcoming free summit, Awaken The Christ Within, by my good friend Josh del Sol this December 3rd through the 9th. I see this as a truly divinely timed event given my current experience in my own life and I hope you can join me as we come together to learn, share and celebrate the power of the Christ energy that is currently enveloping the world as we speak! Hope to see you there! With much love and light, Mike Join the Free Awaken The Christ Within event here! The Winner Cast is a reader-supported publication. Last week, I asked the community here if you would be interested in a new series focused on films I find interesting for our current time and the response (especially on Telegram) was a resounding ‘Yes!’. So here we go, my first review is of a film that came out this Summer by acclaimed millennial writer/director, Ari Aster. Eddington was not what I expected which is a good thing. It’s a completely original creation from an auteur who still believes in cinema and is not afraid to create his own thing outside the confines of the inner-crowd of the Hollywood tone-deaf social club. It’s daring in that it takes place during Covid but doesn’t take a side. This shocked me when I saw it and gives me a bit of hope that we may be seeing the dawn of a new era of Hollywood filmmaking that isn’t beholden to ‘The Message’ of wokeness that has dominated the industry over the last decade. But is this really the dawn of something new or just an outlier in an already dead industry? For me, it’s hard to say but either way, I loved this film and hope my review here does it some credit. Please note, there are MANY SPOILERS in this review so please watch the film first and then come back to get the most out of my breakdown…or just enjoy the ride here and take it for what it is, an entertaining exploration of the work of art that is Eddington.
