Alex Murdaugh’s latest pre-trial hearing became a battle over what evidence is allowed in court- and could shape the future of his trial. Caroline and Nick are back with a new episode on The Kim Kardashian Heist. Back in October 2016, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint while attending Paris Fashion Week. Five men disguised as police officers broke into her hotel room. They tied her up, held her at gunpoint and stole around $10 million worth of jewellery. She was physically unharmed but deeply traumatised by the events that unfolded. In May 2025, eight people were convicted in connection with the robbery after years of investigation and court delays. But, shockingly, they all walked free without receiving any jail time. Today, we’ve got never before heard information about the case from a new book called Citizen Kim by Jonathan Van Meter, which is due to be released at the end of this month. Seven fraternity members have been accused of sexually assaulting a female student at Cornell University in 2024. But despite the alleged incident being reported nearly two years ago, no criminal charges were brought forward. Now, New York’s attorney general has taken over the Cornell fraternity sexual assault investigation, placing the university’s response and the original decision not to prosecute under renewed scrutiny. Former American Idol contestant and pastor Caleb Flynn is on trial in Ohio, accused of murdering his wife, Ashley, inside their family home in Tipp City while their two daughters slept nearby. Prosecutors allege Flynn staged the scene to look like a break-in following a long-running affair, while his defence argues investigators developed tunnel vision and lacked the evidence needed to prove he fired the fatal shots.
