Practical Magic & Your Favorite Self with Ashley B. Jones
2026/10/13
Is your intuition a real skill you can train? Psychic, coach, and neuroscience grad Ashley B. Jones says yes, and she’s turned it into practical tools for everyday life. In this episode of Dear Creator, Ashley shares how she went from panic attacks in a corporate job to building her own business, why calling herself an “entrepreneur” has started to feel performative, and how she chooses labels that make her feel like her favorite self. She breaks down the “body pendulum” technique for making decisions, the five parts of self, and the daily habit bingo card she’s played for 479 days, which is especially handy for ADHD brains. Ashley B. Jones is a psychic, writer, teacher, and artist. She teaches practical magic, helping neurodivergent creatives and value-aligned entrepreneurs make the right decisions and take the right action to fall madly in love with themselves, meet their soulmates (lovers, besties, creative co-conspirators, and clients), so they can bring their too-good-to-be-true dreams to life. Ashley's known for her viral group program, Magnetic Habits Bingo, and soulmate match-making in her Meet Your Future Lover psychic readings. If you’re a creative figuring out your identity, your next move, or how to take care of yourself while building something, this one’s for you. Ditch the Beige Branding: Bring More Color and Personality Into Your Business With Chloe Richardson
2026/09/29
Beige branding is safe. But it’s also forgettable. In this episode of Dear Creator, I sit down with Chloe to talk about why "professional" doesn't have to mean bland, and why the businesses that stand out are the ones brave enough to bring their real personality into their brand. Chloe is a Designer, strategist, customer experience enthusiast (nerd?), and someone with an alarming amount of opinions about businesses making things harder than they need to be. She works with service businesses to fix the way their brand feels, from first impression to final touchpoint. She shares her journey from hospitality marketing at one of Australia's largest venue groups to running her own full-time design and CX business, including the money struggles, accountability challenges, and identity shifts that came with going independent. We dig into how to build a brand that's actually you instead of a beige copy of your competitors, how to map a customer journey that builds real trust, and why small "ick" moments (like ManyChat auto-replies) can quietly kill customer loyalty. Plus, the customer experience story so good it'll make you cry. Connect with Chloe: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/crcbrands/ Website: crcbrands.com.au

Why Using AI to Write Your Brand Voice is Killing Your Business with Delia McCowan
2026/09/01
Have you ever used ChatGPT to write your website copy, Instagram captions, or About page? You’re not alone. And you’re not a bad business owner for doing it. In this episode, I talk to Delia, founder of Tidewater Studio, who’s a brand strategist and copywriter. We talk about how using AI might be a shortcut that is quietly costing entrepreneurs the one thing that actually gets them clients, customers, brand recognition, and their own authentic brand voice. Delia is a brand strategist and copywriter working with founders, service providers, and creative businesses to build communities that buy from you, because of you. After working in every facet of corporate marketing, she took the leap into entrepreneurship, working with business owners to go beyond “what makes them different”, guiding you through how you can use your personality and perspectives as a core part of building your brand. Carving Your Own Path: Astrology, Creativity & Building a Business on Your Terms with Ayu Sutriasa
2026/08/04
Ayu didn’t wait for opportunities. She carved her own path after being laid off from her magazine editing career. She turned to astrology, a lifelong passion, and built a business helping multi-passionate creatives use their birth charts to unlock their creativity and trust their own direction. Ayu is an astrologer + guide for multi-passionate creatives. Formerly a magazine editor, her work centers on empowering creatives to LIVE from their boldest, most honest creative expression (perfectionism be damned) and actually execute + finish the work they care about most. During the few occasions she gets some alone time (MILF probz) she enjoys writing smutty fanfic and making zines about void-walking. In this episode of Dear Creator, we talk about her journey from editor to astrologer, what she calls "creative exile," using the fifth house to understand how your creativity shows up, and why sometimes the boldest business moves start with spite instead of a plan. The Truth About Pivoting Careers After Motherhood with Georgia Lyons
2026/07/28
Georgia helps ambitious women redesign how they work — taking their knowledge, passions, and strengths and turning them into flexible, purpose-driven work on their own terms. She’s spent 14 years building an incredible career in project management, helping lead the regeneration of Christchurch after the devastating 2011 earthquake. She was good at it. She wasn't burnt out. So why did returning to work after having her first baby leave her feeling claustrophobic and unsettled? In this episode, Georgia shares her honest, unfiltered story of pivoting from project management into becoming a career pivot coach for mothers and why her own career change had nothing to do with hitting rock bottom. We talk about the awareness stage of a pivot, why "good on paper" isn't the same as "feels right," her go-to 3 Ps framework (Possible, Practical, Priority), the ladder of believability, and how to block out the noise when everyone online seems to have it figured out. If you've ever felt the pull to change your career but couldn't quite name why, this conversation is for you. Connect with Georgia Website Instagram Group Program

You Can't Put Grief on Your Content Calendar | Solo Entry 6
2026/07/14
I’ve been thinking about timing lately and about the things that happen to use that don’t make sense until much later. Around the same time as my grandpa passed away, my dog also was diagnosed with cancer. Through all of it, I kept running my business — marketing, selling, showing up and doing the entrepreneur thing. Until I wasn’t able to even do that fully anymore. It wasn’t until months later, when everything slowed down, that the grief caught up to me. A dream brought it up to the surface and it made me wonder if I was avoiding it or I just didn’t have the capacity to feel it all at the same time. And did it have to pule up that much before something in me finally broke? This episode is a reflection on grief, timing, and the quiet cost of staying in motion especially as a creative business owner who’s used to pushing through. Listen for an honest look at why we can’t schedule healing the way we schedule a launch, and why what hasn’t happened for you yet might not mean somethings wrong but might just not be the time. PS. How to Deconstruct the System and Become the Most Feral, Creative Version of Yourself With Giana Cerasia
2026/06/30
Giana left corporate when we recorded this episode! She’s worked as a teacher, in government, as a prison, and in corporate. She breaks down why most creative entrepreneurs unknowingly recreate corporate culture in their own businesses, how to identify the conditioning running your decisions, and offers exercises that help you finally build from who you actually are. Giana Cerasia is a teacher, systems change expert, and anthrophilosopher whose work sits at the intersection of human behavior, power, and transformation. She has spent her career studying systems that shape us — from corporations and institutions to families, relationships, governments, and culture. Now, she works with the people who power every system we live inside: the humans carrying the stories, grief, power, rage, and possibility that make change either repeat or rupture. Her work blends systems thinking, embodiment, breathwork, and witchy elder-wisdom practices to help people descend beneath the performance of growth and return to the wild, ungovernable, honest intelligence of their own aliveness.
