The War On Children
2026/08/03
When did it become controversial to protect children? In this episode, I look at three major battles facing children today: abortion, human trafficking and a culture that is stripping away their innocence. We discuss the value of unborn life, the reality of child exploitation, the influence of pornography and social media, and the responsibility parents have to protect their children. This episode is not about creating fear. It is about recognising what is happening and having the courage to stand against it.Children cannot fight these battles alone. They need present fathers, strong mothers, faithful communities and adults willing to protect them.Subscribe to The Brodie Buchal Podcast for more conversations about faith, family, culture and the issues shaping our world. Please like, comment and share this episode to help spread the message.Support The Brodie Buchal Podcast on Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/brodiebuchal/membership#TheWarOnChildren #BrodieBuchal #ProtectChildren #Faith #Family #Culture
The Cost Of Free Speech with Israel Folau
2026/07/28
In this podcast I sit down with Israel Folau for one of his most candid conversations yet.For the first time, he opens up about why his return to the West Tigers fell through, the conversations that happened behind closed doors during the controversial sacking from the Wallabies back in 2019, and why he believes standing for biblical truth cost him far more than just a football contract but was worth every moment knowing he didnt allow his beliefs to be bought. But this isn't just a conversation about rugby. We dive into faith, marriage, fatherhood, masculinity, pornography, raising children, finding purpose beyond success, and why Israel says following Jesus is worth any cost.Whether you agree with Izzy or not, this is a thoughtful discussion about conviction, forgiveness, resilience and what it means to stand firm when everything is on the line.If this conversation challenged or encouraged you, consider subscribing and sharing it with someone who needs to hear it.If you enjoyed this episode, subscribe for more long-form conversations with politicians, entrepreneurs, thought leaders and cultural commentators.🎯 Full, unfiltered conversations + exclusive content:👉 https://www.patreon.com/brodiebuchal/membership📲 Follow for more content on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/thebrodiebuchalpodcast--How to support us beyond just subscribing...Buy me or my entire team a coffee or support us through a monthly contribution... Uncovering The Biggest Problem In The Debate On Multiculturalism
2026/07/21
You've probably noticed that public debates rarely begin with honest definitions.Instead, you're handed two extremes and told to pick a side.Either you celebrate multiculturalism exactly as it's presented... or you're portrayed as someone who wants to ban butter chicken, force everyone into beige, and erase every cultural difference. But what if those aren't the only options? In this episode, I unpack one of the most misunderstood conversations in Australia today by asking a simple question: What do we actually mean by multiculturalism? Before we can debate whether it's working, we first need to define the terms. What is a monoculture? What is multiculturalism? Is there a point where cultures become incompatible? And if there is, where should the line be drawn? The reality is that every person has a line. The disagreement isn't whether one exists—it's where it belongs, and why.I also share the remarkable story of a Somali refugee who lost his family to civil war before making Australia home. His perspective challenged many of my assumptions and, in my view, offers one of the clearest examples of what successful integration actually looks like. This conversation isn't about race. It isn't about hating immigration. It's about asking whether culture matters, what holds a nation together, and whether we've been avoiding the questions that matter most.I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Where do you think the line should be drawn?________________If you enjoy conversations that go beyond headlines and into substance, this one’s for you.🎯 Full, unfiltered conversations + exclusive content:👉 https://www.patreon.com/brodiebuchal/membership📲 Follow for more content on socials:Instagram: @thebrodiebuchalpodcast--How to support us beyond just subscribing...Buy me or my entire team a coffee or support us through a monthly contribution... In this powerful and deeply personal conversation, I sit down with my friend and pastor, Dan Paikea, to talk about one of the hardest seasons his family has ever faced.
On June 11th, 2025, Dan’s son Joel was involved in a devastating motorbike accident while out delivering Uber Eats. Joel suffered multiple life-threatening injuries including a severe brain injury, a torn aorta, a shattered femur, and extensive damage to his leg. He spent nearly a month in a coma and months recovering in hospital. But this story isn’t just about the accident. It’s about what happened in the weeks and months that followed.Dan shares what it was like sitting in the ICU not knowing if his son would wake up, the tension between medical reality and faith, and how thousands of people around the world began praying for Joel. We talk about the moments that stood out during the recovery, the role of worship and prayer in the hospital room, and the surprising encounters with paramedics and surgeons who were there the night Joel’s life was saved. It’s an honest conversation about pain, hope, faith, and the power of community when life suddenly turns upside down.If you or someone you love has ever faced a moment where everything felt uncertain, this conversation will encourage you.Want to Support the channel?Buy me or my entire team a coffee or support us through a monthly contribution...
