57: Alicorns and Aunt Flo
2026/02/02
Send us a text This week, we’re tackling the REAL untalkable topic in the horse world: getting your period while trying to live your best equestrian life.  From white jods that betray you, to show-day “bloodbath” disasters, to sanitary pads achieving unexpected airtime... Nothing is off-limits. Plus, Pippa’s “Normal or Neigh” sends both the gals into an existential crisis because apparently an alicorn is a thing and we had no idea.  It’s chaotic, it’s honest, it’s painfully relatable… and as always, it’s for the better of the horse (and the long-suffering horse girl). 56: Progress Isn't Always A Podium
2026/01/26
Send us a text It’s Blue Monday (Actually, we are a week late...) and this episode meets you exactly where you are. This week, the girls sit in the heaviness a little. They talk honestly about motivation, comparison, and the pressure to constantly be chasing the next goal. The next level. The next big dream. The version of success that looks impressive to everyone else. But what if those dreams aren’t realistic right now? And what if that’s actually… okay? This episode is about remembering where you came from. About realising that a year ago your horse might have been lame, you might have been scared, confidence might have been on the floor and now you’re here. Riding. Showing up. Still trying. And that's what matters. The girls unpack how easy it is to forget the hard chapters once you’re out of them, and how unfair it is to place invisible pressure on ourselves and our horses. Because our horses have no idea of the figurative weight we put on their backs. They’re just doing their best for us, every single day. This week’s Normal or Neigh is the horse-girl version of stage fright, and it couldn’t be more relatable if it tried. It might be Blue Monday, but you’re not alone. This one is raw, gentle, grounding and a reminder that progress doesn’t always roar. Sometimes it just quietly keeps going. Tune in and join the conversation! 55: There is Always Another Way - with Kitty J Equestrian
2026/01/19
Send us a text Our first guest of 2026, Kitty from Kitty J Equestrian. Kitty is known for being unapologetically real online, sharing every high, low and “what the hell am I doing” moments of her equestrian journey with her horses Henry and Juno. Henry came to Kitty with a chronic rearing problem, while Juno is her newly self-backed four-year-old with big hopes, big dreams and plenty to learn. This episode goes deep. The girls and Kitty talk about: Feeling unable to speak up when you disagree with trainersRemembering that there is always another way to do thingsLetting go of pressure and accepting what your horse can give youBacking young horses and trusting your instinctsSharing your life (and mistakes) on social mediaClassical dressage, in-hand work, and lifelong learningKitty embodies everything Unbridled Conversations stands for. Curiosity, confidence without ego, and always putting the horse first. This is an episode about finding your voice, backing yourself, and doing better by the animal that gives us everything. Turn it up for the people at the back! Tune in and join the conversation! Connect with us and share your stories on Instagram and Facebook at @Unbridled.Conversations
54: Home is Where the Horse Lives
2026/01/12
Send us a text This week on Unbridled Conversations, the girls dive headfirst into livery yard life, where our horses actually live, not just where we visit between work, life and chaos. Because here’s the thing… you get to go home. Your horse doesn’t. From yard layout and facilities to routine, turnout and daily management, Hannah and Charlotte unpack all the things we say we prioritise and the things we sometimes quietly overlook because a yard suits us better than our horses. Oops! The girls also spiral slightly into a side discussion about how much horses actually observe, absorb and learn just by being… there. Watching. Listening. Judging us silently from their stables. This week’s Normal or Neigh is bang on trend thanks to the FREEZING weather. It's a proper IYKYK horse girl moment that has us all questioning our life choices with a frozen fork in hand. As ever, it’s honest, relatable and guaranteed to make you rethink your setup... even just a little. Tune in and join the conversation! 53: New Year Energy
2026/01/05
Send us a text Season 2 is officially HERE and the girls are kicking things off in true Unbridled style ✨ It’s the New Year, new goals, new delusions… and Charlotte’s birthday (don’t forget to wish her a happy one 🎂). With brand new kit, fresh topics and some very exciting guests lined up for the year ahead, the podcast is coming back bigger, better than ever... You’re welcome. In this episode, Hannah and Charlotte catch up after the Christmas chaos, confess how much (or how little 👀) the horses have actually worked, and talk all things goals, intentions and 2026 bingo cards. It’s honest, it’s cosy, it’s reflective and exactly the comfort blanket you need for that first Monday back to real life. Here’s to a new year, a new season, and continuing the conversations that matter. Welcome to Season 2. Tune in and join the conversation! 52: 52 Conversations Later
2025/12/29
Send us a text It’s the FINAL episode of 2025  and the Season One finale of Unbridled Conversations! Just 12 months ago, this podcast was nothing more than an idea… and somehow here we are, 52 episodes later. True to form, the girls kick things off with a Normal or Neigh, and to wrap the year up, they are in complete agreement. From there, it’s full reminisce mode. Hannah and Charlotte look back on their favourite episodes, guests, listener write-ins and Normal or Neighs. The laughs, the chaos, the moments that went viral… and the conversations that were uncomfortable, emotional, and important. This podcast has been one of the most consistent commitments the girls have made all year. More reliable than almost anything else in their lives, and it’s grown into so much more than they ever imagined. To everyone who listened, shared, messaged, wrote in, laughed, cried and advocated for the horse alongside us... thank you. This has always been about having the conversations that matter, and you’ve been right there with us every step of the way. We’re signing off Season One full of gratitude, pride and excitement for what’s to come. From Hannah & Charlotte, thank you for being part of this journey. ✨ Season Two begins January 5th ✨ Tune in and join the conversation! 51: Festive AF
2025/12/22
Send us a text IT’S CHRISTMASSSSS 🎄✨ The final countdown is ON and the girls are fully leaning into festive optimism. The shortest day of the year is behind us, the sausage rolls are basically in reach, and honestly… nothing can break the Christmas spirit (okay, maybe mud, but still). This week Hannah and Charlotte chat all things balancing life, family, horses and Christmas, and how wildly different the festive season can look depending on how and where you work in the equestrian world. Is it 4AM alarms and business as usual? Turning them away and embracing duvet days? Or carefully keeping the routine ticking over while pretending it’s still magical? This week’s Normal or Neigh is painfully relatable and one that only horse girls will truly understand. You will absolutely be on one side or the other. From Hannah & Charlotte, we want to wish every single listener the most wonderful Christmas period, however you celebrate it. Thank you for being part of the Unbridled Conversations chaos this year 💫 Tune in and join the conversation! 50: Mercury's in Retrograde
2025/12/15
Send us a text This week, logic leaves the chat. What starts as a Normal or Neigh quickly spirals into full-blown chaos as the girls find themselves checking their horses’ horoscopes. Yes, actual star signs,  to decide whether it’s a good day to school… or if today’s a lunge-and-leave-it-alone situation. Mercury in retrograde? Probably explains that spook. But beneath the laughs and astrology chaos, the episode takes a turn into something far more important, trigger stacking. What really causes a horse to “lose it”? Is it actually the one thing that goes wrong… or is it the tenth sign we ignored because the bell rang and we were already entering at C? The girls unpack how horses communicate stress, how often the warnings are there long before the explosion, and why pushing through “just one more thing” can sometimes be the final straw. Funny, eye-opening and uncomfortably relatable, this episode might just change how you listen to your horse… and maybe the stars too. Tune in and join the conversation! 49: 4PM Breakfast Club... IYKYK
2025/12/08
Send us a text This week, the girls tackle one of the equestrian world's deepest, darkest, most universal truths: the horse girl diet. You know the one... Soda before sunrise, breakfast sometime around 4PM, meals that are 90% Haribo and 10% emotional turmoil, and enough caffeine to tranquillise a rhino. The girls break down the weird (but worryingly normal) eating habits horse girls everywhere have adopted… and how this was all a LOT easier when we were 22 and could inhale three beige meals a day without immediate consequences. This week’s Normal or Neigh splits the room and the girls cannot agree and we KNOW the listeners are going to be divided too. It’s chaotic, it’s unfiltered, it’s painfully relatable. Welcome to the diet that keeps equestrians alive… somehow. Tune in and join the conversation! Connect with us and share your stories on Instagram and Facebook at @Unbridled.Conversations
48: Add to Cart...
2025/12/01
Send us a text This week the girls admit defeat. Black Friday well and truly took them OUT. From the bargains they couldn’t resist to the completely unnecessary (but emotionally essential) purchases, Hannah and Charlotte unpack the chaos item by item… including the shocking item on Charlotte’s shopping list that has left Hannah speechless, betrayed, and questioning the entire friendship. Plus, this week’s Normal or Neigh comes from a brand-new listener who instantly gets the vibe and delivers EXACTLY the kind of horse-girl chaos this podcast lives for. Whether you spent your entire paycheque on rugs, socks and saddle pads you “might need someday”… or you’re just here for the comfort of knowing you’re not alone… This episode is the Black Friday support group you didn’t know you needed. 47: The Saddle Fit Intervention - with Freddie Cross
2025/11/24
Send us a text This week, the girls sit down with the one and only Freddie Cross from Stübben Saddles, and trust us when we say… he did NOT hold back. Every question you’ve wanted to ask your saddle fitter but never felt brave enough to? We asked it. Freddie answered. Unfiltered. Honest. Sometimes painfully honest. We dive into: Why static saddle fitting alone is a 🚨 red flagWhat good saddle fit actually looks likeThe difference between horse fit, rider fit + realityWhy two saddle fitters never agreeFoam vs flock vs flairRed flags, green flags, and the “please run now” flagsYour wild listener stories and questionsIf you’ve ever bought a saddle, sat in a saddle, cried over a saddle, mortgaged your home for a saddle… this episode is for YOU! And as always, chaos stays close behind, because this is Unbridled Conversations after all. Buckle up, or should we say girth up as this one is JUICY. Tune in and join the conversation! 46: Snood, Snud or Snod
2025/11/17
Send us a text Winter is here and the girls are coming in fully rugged up, or are they? This week, Hannah and Charlotte dive headfirst into the ultimate equestrian winter wardrobe. From questionable “must-haves” to unquestionable "must-NOTS", from heated vests to snuds vs snoods (yes, we’re still arguing about that one), this episode is a full-on horse girl fashion debate. This week’s Normal or Neigh is right on theme: should you really be tacking up your horse in when they're soaking wet? The girls can’t decide what’s worse wet leather or wet leggings. As always, it’s hilarious, chaotic, and painfully relatable. Grab your hot chocolate, wrap yourself in your whatever-you-call-it, and tune in for another dose of Unbridled Conversations. 45: Couch to 5K
2025/11/10
Send us a text This week, the girls are tackling the winter wobble head-on  because just blaming the dark nights while unwrapping your nightly family-sized Dairy Milk isn’t gonna cut it.. From trying to stay fit through the gloom to finding your accountability partner (who won’t let you “start Monday”), this episode is all about keeping your motivation alive when it’s cold, muddy, and your horse thinks lunging twice a week counts as cardio. Hannah’s gone from couch to 5k in one night (send prayers ), Charlotte’s got her disciplined eventer energy, and between them they’ll make you feel like maybe, just maybe, winter isn’t a total write-off. Plus, this week’s Normal or Neigh? Talking to your horse in full sentences. Because honestly, who doesn’t?! Get ready for laughs, mild shame, and the ultimate “I’ll do better tomorrow” inspo. 43: Winter is Coming...
2025/10/27
Send us a text The clocks have changed and so have we... for the worse. This week, the girls brace themselves for the cold, dark, and muddy chaos that is winter horse ownership. From sideways rain and feral horses to budgeting for endless hay and electric fencing battles, they’re holding nothing back.  There might be tears, there might be tantrums, but there’s also solidarity, because we’re all in this together. Plus, this week’s Normal or Neigh is a drive-thru dilemma that’s got everyone divided: McDonald’s fruit bags… normal behaviour or full delulu horse girl moment? Tune in and join the conversation! Connect with us and share your stories on Instagram and Facebook at @Unbridled.Conversations
42: Unbridled Chats
2025/10/20
Send us a text It’s giving unhinged horse girl Monday energy, this week’s episode is pure, unfiltered chaos. We kick off with a Normal or Neigh that features Care Bear pyjamas (yes, you read that right) and things only spiral from there. From acorns falling from the sky to travelling tantrums, CDJ’s comeback, Olive making a surprise appearance, and the all-important question... Did the girls clip yet?! It’s funny, it’s feel-good, and it’s everything you need to brighten your Monday morning.  Tune in and join the conversation!
