Episode 116- Coasters, Cousins & Candy: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Pre-Trip
2026/10/21
Happy Wednesday, Flight Crew! 🎃👻 We’re getting ready for a spooky Disney adventure, and this time, we’re heading to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with the whole crew!
In this pre-trip episode, we’re talking all about our plans for a Halloween trip that looks a little different from our usual Disney vacations. We’ll be staying off property, driving to Walt Disney World, and focusing our trip around Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party instead of spending additional days in the parks!
My mom, my cousin, and our four kids will be joining us for the fun, and we’re chatting about everything we’re hoping to experience, from the parade and coasters to all the Halloween treats and spooky party magic. We might even squeeze in some time at Disney Springs and a visit to The Happiest Market!
Will we be able to fit everything into this trip? What are we most excited about at the party? And how will this off-property, drive-to-Disney adventure compare to our usual trips?
Tune in as we count down to a little Halloween magic, family fun, and plenty of candy!

2026/10/14
WE DID IT! After coming so close on our previous attempts, we finally completed all 49 rides across all four Walt Disney World parks in a single day, and did it in the fastest time of anyone to complete the challenge!
This week, Reegan and Cole join me on the mic to recap our wildest EveryRide Challenge attempt yet. We’re getting into all the details of the day, from our strategy for tackling four parks to the hilarious stories, unexpected moments, and points when we genuinely weren’t sure we were physically going to make it to the finish line. Plus, Reegan managed to secure an incredible 24 Lightning Lane Multi Passes along the way!
How did we pull it off? What were the biggest challenges of the day? And what moments will we still be laughing about long after this adventure? We’re answering all of your questions submitted over on instagram. Breaking it all down, ride by ride, as we relive the day we finally conquered the EveryRide Challenge!

Episode 114- Disney World Fall Trip Recap: Solo Adventures, September & Snacks
2026/10/07
I’m back from another Disney World adventure, and today we’re recapping my fall trip! After four nights, five days, four park days, and plenty of park hopping, it’s time to talk about some of my favorite moments from the trip, including getting some much-needed solo time in the parks.
I finally checked a long-standing Disney goal off my list, tackled some BIG rides, spent way too much time standing in lines, and made plenty of time for one of my favorite things at Disney: eating! I’ll share some of my favorite Food & Wine Festival finds, including one sweet treat that ended up being the surprise favorite of the entire trip.
Plus, we’re talking about some Disney merch and accessories that made the trip extra fun, my stay at Pop Century, and all the little moments that made this trip feel so special.
Next week, Reegan, Cole, and I are taking you behind the scenes of our EveryRide Challenge: four parks, one day, and A LOT of rides. Let’s just say…you definitely don’t want to miss this one 👀
So grab your favorite Disney snack and come recap the trip with me!

Episode 113- Parks of theFuture Part 6: Haunted Eats & Tangled Treats
2026/09/30
It’s time to get back to imagining the Parks of the Future! In Part 6, we’re stepping away from resorts and attractions and heading straight to the dining table. This time, Dad and I are dreaming up two completely different restaurant concepts that we think could bring some serious storytelling, character, and entertainment to the Disney Parks.
Dad has a Haunted Mansion-inspired restaurant featuring character dining with some familiarv (and maybe slightly spooky) faces, while I’m bringing the Snuggly Duckling from Tangled to life with character dining, live music, and a piano bar atmosphere.
From ghosts and ruffians to food, music, and immersive entertainment, these restaurants are about much more than what’s on the menu. We’re imagining dining experiences where the characters and theming are just as important as the food itself.
Which restaurant would you want to step inside? And would you rather dine with ghosts or hang out with a few ruffians? 👻🎹
Episode 112- Disney World Pre-Trip: Park Plans, Must-Eats & Top Goals
2026/09/23
It’s time for another Disney World pre-trip, and I am SO ready to be back in Florida! Even though I was just at Disneyland Paris, that Disney itch is already kicking in, and this trip is a little different from my usual family vacation.
I’m heading to Walt Disney World for four park days, including my third attempt at the EveryRide Challenge with my brother Reegan and our friend Cole! We’ll be tackling all four parks in one very long day while raising money for Give Kids the World, followed by a few extra park days to meet up with friends, eat ALL the things, and hopefully accomplish a few Disney goals along the way.
In this episode, I’m breaking down all of my plans for the trip, including where I’m staying, how I scored my park tickets, my Lightning Lane strategy, our EveryRide game plan, and what I’m hoping to accomplish during my extra days in the parks. Plus, I’m sharing my very long Disney snack list, because apparently one of my biggest trip goals is just eating my way through Food & Wine Festival 😂 I also have FIVE goals for this trip! Some completely within my control and a few that are definitely going to require a little Disney magic. And of course, we have a brand-new Disney hot take from our friends at West of Wonderland!

Episode 111- From Sleeping Beauty to Shanghai: The History & Evolution of Disney Castles
2026/09/16
There’s one thing almost every Disney Park has in common: a castle! But have you ever wondered why each Disney castle looks so different, or how they’ve evolved over the years?
This week, we’re taking a journey around the world to explore the history of Disney Parks castles, starting with the original Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland and making our way through Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, and even Disney’s future castle concepts.
We’re talking hidden details, fascinating construction stories, Imagineering decisions, castle transformations, dragons hiding underneath castles, and how Disney has turned these iconic structures from simple park landmarks into attractions and immersive storytelling experiences.
And of course, because we can never just talk about something without ranking it, we’ll finish the episode by ranking our favorite Disney castles! Which one will come out on top?
So sit back, Flight Crew, and join us for a little Disney castle history… because there’s a LOT more to these castles than meets the eye!

Episode 110- The Key to Riding Every Ride at Walt Disney World
2026/09/09
EveryRide is about so much more than simply checking every attraction off the list! In this episode of Soarin’ Around WDW, Reegan joins us to break down everything we’ve learned from taking on the EveryRide Challenge at Walt Disney World over the years.
We’re talking about what has changed, what has stayed the same, and how our strategy has evolved as we’ve taken on the challenge again and again. We also dive into listener questions, including what you actually get for finishing EveryRide, whether we’d do it all over again, and how much physical training goes into preparing for the big day.
But the biggest lesson? EveryRide is just as much a mental game as it is a physical one. Plans change, rides go down, crowds happen, and sometimes you have to throw Plan A out the window and be ready to pivot.
So grab your park map and buckle up as we share our EveryRide strategy, lessons learned, and what it really takes to ride it all at Walt Disney World!
We are also doing this in support of Give Kids the World Village! Use this link to help support our fundraising efforts: https://give.gktw.org/SoarinAroundWDWPod
Episode 109- Nostalgic Nights: Flubber
2026/09/02
Welcome back, Flight Crew, and welcome to our final Nostalgic Nights of the summer! 🎬
This time around, we’re talking about the movie YOU voted for… Flubber! And with 41% of the vote, Madi officially got his wish 😂
We’re diving into the history behind this 1997 Disney classic, including its connection to The Absent-Minded Professor, the surprising famous writer connection, the cast full of familiar faces, where the movie was filmed, its box office and critical reception, and plenty of fun facts and Disney connections you may have missed.
But of course, we can’t just talk about Flubber without getting into everything that had us questioning this movie. From the absolutely wild mob storyline and some serious plot holes to Weebo’s tragic fate, the squirrel mascot, the basketball scenes that had us thinking about Space Jam, and the question of WHO exactly thought a 6:30 AM wedding was a good idea… we have thoughts.
And as always, Madi and I are up to our usual yapping, debating, and general antics throughout the episode.
Plus, we’ve got a hot take from Amanda of Happily Everett After to wrap things up! Follow them and give them a listen @happilyeverettafter
So grab some popcorn, revisit Flubber, and come yap with us about one of Disney’s weirdest ’90s movies. 💚
Thanks for listening, Flight Crew! ✈️
Episode 108- D23 2026: Big Announcements, Bigger Questions
2026/08/26
Hey Flight Crew! ✈️ D23 2026 has come and gone, and Disney gave us A LOT to talk about! This week, we’re sharing our thoughts on the biggest announcements from the ultimate Disney fan event. And, of course, asking the question: Did D23 actually live up to the hype?
There were exciting announcements, surprising reveals, a few moments that left us scratching our heads, and one very consistent theme throughout the parks presentation: where are all the dates?! Disney gave us plenty to dream about, but did they give fans enough concrete information to actually get excited?
We’re breaking down what caught our attention, what we loved, what we questioned, what we think Disney got wrong, and what we were hoping to hear but didn’t. Plus, we’re talking about whether Disney is balancing nostalgia and innovation, or moving too far in one direction.
And of course, we couldn’t let D23 go by without hearing a hot take from our friend Virginia! 🔥

2026/08/19
In Part 2 of our Big Thunder Mountain Treasured Attractions series, we’re going behind the scenes to uncover what makes this attraction so much more than a roller coaster. We’re talking Imagineering tricks, hidden storytelling, sound design, forced perspective, ride mechanics, block zones, lift hills, braking systems, and all the engineering that makes this “runaway” mine train feel completely out of control while actually being incredibly controlled.
Then we’re comparing Big Thunder Mountains from around the world, diving into some surprising facts and statistics, and looking at how this iconic attraction has made its way into movies, television, video games, comics, and even potential future adaptations.
Plus, we share some of our favorite Big Thunder memories, and debate where it ranks among Disney’s mountain attractions.

Episode 106- Treasured Attractions: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
2026/08/12
Welcome back to another episode of Treasured Attractions! This time, we're climbing aboard Big Thunder Mountain Railroad to uncover the incredible story behind one of Disney's most beloved attractions.
Long before the runaway mine trains raced through Frontierland, the story began with Walt Disney's lifelong love of trains, the original Rainbow Caverns Mine Train, and a canceled Frontierland project that almost changed Disney history forever. Join us as we trace the attraction's evolution from Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland to Tony Baxter's groundbreaking vision that forever changed the way Disney designed roller coasters.
Whether Big Thunder is your favorite Disney coaster or you've never stopped to think about its history, this episode is packed with Imagineering stories, fascinating facts, and the creative decisions that turned a simple concept into a timeless Disney classic.
Keep your hands, arms, feet, and legs inside the train at all times… and enjoy the wildest flight in the wilderness!
Episode 105- Nostalgic Nights: Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
2026/08/05
This week on Nostalgic Nights, we're heading back to 1989 to revisit one of Disney's most creative live-action adventures: Honey, I Shrunk the Kids! 🐜🔬
For me, it's a childhood favorite, but for Madi, it's his very first time seeing this Disney classic. We discuss whether the movie still holds up, our favorite moments, the incredible practical effects that brought the oversized backyard to life, and the emotional scene that still gets audiences decades later. We also dive into behind-the-scenes facts, casting stories, the sequels that followed, and the Disney Parks attractions inspired by the film, including the legendary Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure and Honey, I Shrunk the Audience!
Whether you grew up watching Wayne Szalinski's inventions go hilariously wrong or you're discovering this movie for the first time, join us as we decide if this Disney classic deserves its nostalgic reputation.

From attraction-specific experiences and nighttime spectaculars to operational tours that reveal the incredible logistics behind the magic, we're sharing our ideas for immersive experiences designed for Disney's biggest fans. 2026/07/22
Join us as we wrap up our Parks of the Present series by exploring some of the most immersive and unforgettable tours currently offered at Walt Disney World!
This week, Dad and I head to Disney's Animal Kingdom to take a closer look at experiences like Wild Africa Trek, Savor the Savanna, Caring for Giants, and Up Close with Rhinos before making our way to Magic Kingdom for the iconic Keys to the Kingdom Tour. We'll break down what each tour includes, who we think it's best for, and whether we think the price tag is worth it.
Along the way, we share our honest thoughts, including our own experience on Keys to the Kingdom, and rank every tour we've covered throughout this series from the ones we'd book first to the ones we'd skip.
Whether you're planning your next Walt Disney World vacation or just love learning about the unique experiences beyond the attractions, this episode is packed with behind-the-scenes magic, conservation stories, and plenty of Disney discussion.

Episode 102- From Castles to Countryside: Wrapping Up Our France Adventure
2026/07/15
Our France adventure comes to a close 🇫🇷✨ In this final installment of our Disneyland Paris trip recap, I’m joined by my cousin Latoya to reflect on the second half of our unforgettable journey through France. From the magic of Disneyland Paris and Disney Adventure World to time spent exploring beyond the parks, we’re sharing all the memories, laughs, and surprises that made this trip so special.
We dive into whether Disneyland Paris lived up to the hype, our favorite (and least favorite!) attractions, and the unique experiences that set this park apart: from Royal Encounters and reserved fireworks viewing to using Premier Access. We also talk about our time in Paris, including bus adventures around the city, strolling through the Luxembourg Gardens, and a scenic cruise along the Seine. We also reflect on life at the Disneyland Hotel, what we’d do differently next time, and the unforgettable experience of staying in a French château for a family wedding.
Finally, we give our honest thoughts on Disney Adventure World and whether it’s worth visiting before the expansion is complete. Whether you’re planning your own Disneyland Paris trip or just love hearing Disney travel stories, we hope this two-part recap brings a little magic to your day. Thanks for coming along on the journey with us! Au Revoir!
