DIAL S FOR SECURITY
2026/04/09
After a Bank Holiday weekend of games to forget, there’s one thing on the boys’ minds for this episode and that is the security situation at Penydarren Park. In this episode, the boys spend a good 50 or so minutes whinging so if you were expecting a positive podcast, this episode’s not for you. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
HOWAY THE LADS!
2026/03/25

Goodbye King Cole
2026/02/05
It’s an emergency pod (well kinda) as the boys discuss recent Merthyr news as well as our Deadline Day activity which saw us bring in some quality additions in attack but were dealt the blow of the shock departure of midfield dynamo, Cole Jarvis. So with that in mind, who better to have on the pod than someone who knows him better than anyone - his old man, JP!
Along with Wolvesy and Bennett, JP gives his views on the Martyrs’ season and expectations for the rest of the season and this one might bring a tear to the eye to some.

When your socks are pink...
2026/01/21
The pod returns for a bumper episode and Louis is joined by Pingu & Bennett to discuss a month’s worth of Martyrs’ action.
We discuss the departure of club legend and cult hero Ricardo Rees as well as Cardiff loanee Will Spiers who’s since been sent to Eastleigh and Morgan Lewis who’s joined Gloucester until the end of the season.
The boys discuss their unsung heroes and favourite moments of the season so far as well as the away trips they’re looking forward to between now and the end of the season.
And of course, we talk about last Saturday’s game against former Premier League manager Phil Brown.. and his pink socks.

THE CATCHING UP POD
2025/10/29
After about a month off, the pod returns as we welcome back Donovan who’s returned from the states after spending half of October there.
Our last pod was all about Colin the Monk and his parting gift was a 0-5 defeat to Radcliffe so that’s where we start (getting the negatives out of the way first).
In this episode, we also discuss Chester (a) via Wrexham, that mental Spennymoor (a) game, the Kidderminster (h) defeat and of course, that superb result at Chorley on the weekend. We also talk transfer news and a potential money-spinner ahead of the festive period!

COLIN THE MONK
2025/09/22
Dial M Pod is back and this week, the boys are joined by none other than the Monk himself, Colin Mewett. It’s Colin’s last game watching the Martyrs as he starts a new life in the Philippines next week.
Colin tells us all about his time watching the Martyrs over the years - starting with his very first game, all the way back in 1987!
If you see Colin Saturday, make sure you buy him a pint!

Hat-Trick Handley, Ric 101 and Farewell Frazer.
2025/09/09
After a couple of weeks off the pod makes its return and for this episode Louis and Donovan are joined by Merthyr Town secretary, Jack Hodgkins to discuss the Martyrs’ opening 7 games of the National League North.
For this episode we discuss cult-heroes Tom (who came off the bench to score a hat-trick against Macclesfield last week) and Ric who made it into the Merthyr 100 club after scoring twice on Saturday - his 100th and 101st for the Town.
We also discuss the new Weekend Offender terrace and what else to expect from the terracewear legends as well as saying a fond farewell to the one and only Frazer Thomas who departed recently and his since joined Cambrian United in the Cymru Leagues.

FOOTBALL IS BACK!
2025/08/06
Football is back, baby - and so is Lewys Twamley!
The Dial M boys return for our season preview (minus the special guest Louis forgot to book).
In this pod, we talk about Merthyr’s pre-season, our predictions for where the Martyrs will finish come May, a look ahead to Saturday and our opponents Southport and the possibility of maybe one day seeing a Merthyr Town football documentary following the release of the Birmingham City/Tom Brady series on Prime Video this week.

2025/07/16
We’re back and we’ve rebranded - so long Disturbed Pod and hello Dial M Pod!

National League North it is then!
2025/05/21
The pod is back after a few weeks off following the announcement that Merthyr Town FC will be playing in the National League NORTH division next season. For this episode, I'm joined by Donovan and the returning Jonesy who give their reactions to the news as well as the list of players who've already committed their futures to the club for next season. This episode is a bit mad because we ran out of things to say around 30 minutes in then went off on one for another 15-20mins after it. Lots of swearing on this one which we're fully blaming Jonesy for. Hope you enjoy it! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
