Announcement: Summer Break Without A Faith Break

2026/06/22

We’re hitting pause on Around the Word for a short summer break, and we wanted to leave you with one clear encouragement: don’t take a break from God’s Word!!! Summer can be full of good things, but the days can also slip by fast. Keep Scripture close, because the Bible is our bread of life, our source of truth, and our guide for daily living. Ways to Stay Consistent This Summer: Keep gathering around the table with friends, family members, or your HealingStrong group.Read a passage, ask what it means for everyday life, and let God’s Word shape your choices one day at a time.If you want a structured starting point for Bible study, we point you to our Bible plans on the YouVersion Bible app, including studies on Trusting God’s Plan in the Waiting through the Life of Joseph in Genesis, and Trusting God’s Plan When You Don’t See Him through the Story of Queen Esther. Visit healingstrong.org to learn more about HealingStrong and find resources for you or a loved one on a cancer healing journey. For added encouragement, we recommend our other podcast, I Am HealingStrong, hosted by Jim Mann, featuring interviews with cancer thrivers and what helped them through their healing journeys, and health experts. If this message encourages you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs steady hope this summer, and leave a review so more listeners can find the show.
