Technically this episode is about the early hours of the new Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter remake, but you’d be forgiven for thinking we’d woven something else in. For this extra special bonus episode we’re joined by Into the Aether and Memory Card Manuscript’s own Stephen Hilger! We all hung out to chat about 2C, Fortune’s Weave, the voice cast of 2C, Fortune’s Weave, Zelda, fishing redemption, Fortune’s Weave and 2C. It’s hard to stay focused, there’s lots of good games out right now!! 「 LINKS 」 There's a Right and Wrong Way to Remake A Classic Video Game—And The Iliad Explains How at AV Club ++++++++++ Find us on the Orbal Net: http://trailspod.online A proud member of the TWG podcast network: http://theworstgarbage.online ++++++++++ Season 3 show art by the incredible Alyossan: https://alyossan.art/ Intro and Outro music from https://FreePD.com  Intro: “Stunted Adventure” by Bryan Teoh Outro: “Swing Maching” by Kevin MacLeod  Thanks for listening! 「 TIMESTAMPS 」 (00:00) - Intro (04:00) - A quick (light) spoiler warning (06:20) - How Trails-pilled is Stephen Hilger? Never forget - it's not over 'til it's OVA! For a bit of fun between seasons, we sat down to watch Trails in the Sky: The Animation, the 2011-2012 Original Video Animation made to celebrate Falcom's 30th anniversary. But that's not all! We also invited Mischa Stanton, co-host of the Simple & Clean podcast and audio editrix extraordinaire with the Multitude podcast collective, to watch it with us as their very first exposure to the Trails series.  Does this movie make any sense? Does it tell the story of (some of) Trails in the Sky accurately?? And what are YOU willing to do for foley, when the chips are down?  We ask all this and more, as we see just how far Mischa's media literacy can get them when dropped into the middle of this goof-ass story. 「 COVERED THIS WEEK 」 Trails in the Sky: The Animation! ++++++++++ Find us on the Orbal Net: http://trailspod.online A proud member of the TWG podcast network: http://theworstgarbage.online ++++++++++ Season 3 show art by the incredible Alyossan: https://alyossan.art/ Intro and Outro music from https://FreePD.com  Intro: “Stunted Adventure” by Bryan Teoh Outro: “Swing Maching” by Kevin MacLeod  Thanks for listening! 「 TIMESTAMPS 」 (00:00) - Intro (02:15) - Why are we here today? Wife Guy (noun): A masc-presenting individual, who builds his goals and choices around adoring his femme-presenting romantic partner. Prioritises her needs above his own with a sense of great satisfaction. Example: "Men will leave on a solo, continent-spanning Depression Tour to fight a clandestine organisation rather than admit they're a wife guy who needs therapy."
