The 90-Second Reset Before Any Room That Matters (Stop Leaving Yourself at the Door)
2026/09/29
You know that moment when you’re fine until suddenly you’re not. The interview. The pitch. The stage. The first date. The Zoom you’ve rehearsed in your head for three days. Heart racing. Palms sweaty. Mentally ten minutes into a room you haven’t even entered yet, trying to control an outcome that hasn’t happened. That’s usually when we leave ourselves. In this solo episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast, Anita gives you a 90-second reset you can use before any room that matters: The A.R.I.S.E. Reset. Arrive · Regulate · Identify · Set · Enter You’ll learn why nervousness can simply mean something matters to you, why confidence isn’t the absence of nerves, and why regulation isn’t the absence of activation.    The goal isn’t a spa-level heart rate before every high-stakes moment. The goal is creating enough internal space and safety that you can stay with yourself while the nerves are still there. In this episode, Anita walks you through: • How to get out of the imaginary scenario playing in your head and back into your body before you walk in. • A simple breath cadence inhale 4 · hold 4 · release 6 you can use in the car, hallway, bathroom, or backstage. • The question that exposes what’s really at stake: “What am I afraid this room gets to decide about me?” • How to set an intention for who you want to be instead of attaching yourself to an outcome you can’t control. • Why embodiment eventually requires movement and why sometimes you need to enter before your brain starts negotiating again. This isn’t a magic trick that makes everyone say yes. It’s a practice for leaving the room able to say: I stayed with myself. I didn’t shrink. I didn’t perform a different version of myself just to be chosen. Whatever happens after that is information.  Save this episode and come back to the 90-second reset the next time you’re sitting in the car before a meeting, standing backstage, waiting to be let into Zoom, or in the bathroom at a networking event giving yourself one last pep talk. Because you don’t need 90 seconds to become someone else. You need 90 seconds to remember who you are before you walk in trying to prove it.   The work isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about coming home to who you were before survival taught you who you had to be. Keep coming back to your breath. Keep coming back to your truth. Keep coming back to you. When the Life You Planned Falls Apart: How to Find Yourself Again | Hope Lutz Firsel
2026/09/24
What happens when the life you planned is no longer the life you're living? When a marriage ends, you're not only grieving the relationship. You may also be grieving the future you imagined, the family structure you knew, the routines you built, the roles you held, and the version of yourself you became within that life. And somewhere in the middle of all that change, a much deeper question can emerge: Who am I now? In this episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast, Anita sits down with certified divorce and life coach Hope Lutz Firsel for a conversation about divorce, grief, identity, self-worth, co-parenting, receiving support, faith, and finding yourself again after a major life transition. Hope's own story has taken her through infertility, cancer, divorce, and more recently, the loss of her father. Each experience brought its own lessons around surrender, gratitude, self-love, resilience, and learning to trust herself again. After 20 years together, Hope's marriage was connected to nearly every part of her life, including her daily routines, friendships, religious practices, family structure, and her role as a wife and stay-at-home mother. When the marriage ended, she had to figure out who she was outside of the life she had known. Anita and Hope talk about what we're really grieving when a relationship ends, including the future we thought we were going to have. They explore how to separate who you were within a relationship from who you are now, and how to begin deciding what you actually want moving forward. They also get into the beliefs that can surface when everything familiar changes: I'm not enough. I need someone else. I can't do this alone. Hope shares how reconnecting with your values, allowing yourself to receive support, and getting clear on what matters to you can help you begin building your next chapter. In this episode, you'll discover:  How to find yourself again after divorce or a major life transition.  What you may actually be grieving when a marriage ends. How divorce can change your identity, routines, friendships, finances, and vision for the future.  Why grief needs space before you rush into what's next.  How to reconnect with your values and create a new North Star.  Why receiving help can feel uncomfortable when you've become hyper-independent.  How to take responsibility for your part in a relationship without turning it into self-blame.  The role gratitude, faith, and spirituality can play during difficult seasons.  How to separate who you were within a relationship from who you want to be now.  How to decide what parts of your old identity you want to carry forward. How to start imagining and living into your next chapter. Hope also shares what she would tell the version of herself who was still inside one of the hardest seasons of her life: Hold on. The sun will shine again. When the life you planned changes, you don't have to have the entire next chapter figured out. You can grieve what was. You can get honest about what you want now. You can reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way. And you can choose who you want to be from here. It’s Not the No, It’s What You Make It Mean
2026/09/23
Rejection hurts even when you've done the healing work, built self-trust, and know intellectually that someone else's decision doesn't determine your worth. After putting herself out there for several opportunities recently and receiving one "no" that really stung Anita noticed how quickly her mind wanted to turn an external rejection into an internal question: Am I not good enough? Am I not ready yet? What am I still missing? In this solo episode, Anita gets honest about what actually happens after rejection: the initial sting, the stories our minds create, the urge to prove ourselves, and the temptation to stop putting ourselves out there altogether. Because the goal isn't to become so healed that rejection never affects you. It's learning how to experience a no without becoming the no. In this episode, you'll learn how to: Separate what actually happened from what you made it mean about you.Regulate before reacting or making decisions from disappointment.Recognize when rejection is triggering old patterns around worth, belonging, or abandonment.Receive useful feedback without turning it into an identity.Break the cycle of rejecting yourself before someone else gets the chance.Notice when ambition becomes an attempt to prove someone wrong.Rebuild self-trust and keep putting yourself in the room after hearing no.As Anita shares in the episode, there's a difference between "I experienced rejection" and "I am rejected." A no may last thirty seconds. The story you create from it can follow you for years. A no can close a door without becoming a definition of you. Resilience isn't learning how to never feel rejection. Maybe it's learning how to feel it, take what's yours to learn, come back to yourself and move again. If there's a woman in your life who recently put herself out there and didn't get the answer she wanted, send her this episode. Give Yourself Five More Yards: Finding Your Voice, Taking the Risk & Reaching Your Potential | Johnny Di Domenico
2026/09/17
What if the difference between where you are and where you're capable of going is simply having the courage to give yourself five more yards? John Di Domenico is an Emmy-nominated, award-winning host, keynote speaker, and world-class impressionist who has hosted more than 1,500 Fortune 500 meetings and events across 12 countries. He's appeared dozens of times on shows including Conan, The Howard Stern Show, and Jimmy Kimmel Live, and has built a decades-long career mastering the voices of others. But John's story began with a childhood speech impediment — and today, through his keynote Unleashing Your Winning Voice, he helps leaders understand that their voice isn't just how they communicate, it's a strategic asset. On this week's episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast sits down with Emmy-nominated host, keynote speaker, impressionist, and voice expert Johnny Di Domenico for a powerful conversation about finding your voice, building self-confidence, overcoming fear and rejection, taking risks, reinventing yourself, and reaching your full potential. Johnny grew up with a severe speech impediment and discovered impressions as a way to communicate and connect: what once carried shame became part of the gift that took him onto stages, television, major media appearances, and a career built around communication and self-expression.Finding your voice isn't only about learning how to speak — it's about having the self-belief to use itAnita and Johnny explore what happens when you stop waiting for permission, take the risk before you know how it'll turn out, and keep moving even after rejection. They unpack the connection between identity and confidence, why fear can keep us from pursuing our potential, and how consistently putting yourself out there can create opportunities you never could have planned.Johnny shares the philosophy behind "five more yards" the willingness to make one more ask, take one more chance, keep going a little longer, and refuse to let one "no" determine what's possible for your life.In this episode, you'll discover how to: Find your voice and become more confident expressing yourself.Stop holding yourself back because of fear of judgment or rejection.Build self-belief through action instead of waiting to feel ready.Take calculated risks when the outcome isn't guaranteed.Separate rejection from your identity and self-worth.Reinvent yourself when your career or life takes an unexpected turn.Become more comfortable being seen and heard.Turn setbacks into opportunities for growth.Stop waiting for permission to pursue what you want.Keep going when you're tempted to give up.Reach more of your potential by giving yourself five more yards. This conversation is for anyone who knows there is more potential inside of them but has been afraid to fully use their voice, make the ask, take the chance, or put themselves out there. You don't need to see the entire path before you move sometimes the opportunity waiting for you only appears after you're willing to go five more yards. If something in this episode resonated and you feel called to do so: Follow the show and leave a review it genuinely helps more of these conversations reach the people who need them. It’s Not That You Don’t Know, It’s That You Stopped Trusting Yourself
2026/09/16
Have you ever needed to make a decision, but before you even sat with yourself, you'd already asked five other people what they think? In this episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast, Anita unpacks why outsourcing your decisions to everyone else pulls you further from your own clarity and walks you through a real-time breathwork practice to help you come back to center. In this episode: → Why asking for advice can quietly become a way to avoid responsibility for your own choice → The difference between wanting a perspective and wanting permission → A guided breathwork moment to help you drop back into your body before you decide anything → The three questions to ask yourself before you ask anyone else: What do I know? What do I want? What am I afraid of if I trust myself? → Why self-trust was never about being right every time it's about knowing you'll show up for yourself either way You don't actually not know. Somewhere underneath the noise, you already do. This episode is your reminder to stop outsourcing that knowing and come home to yourself first. Send this to the person in your life who's currently asking everyone but themselves. Why Your Manifestation Isn’t Working: Your Nervous System Has to Feel Safe to Receive It Ft. Ariana Del Rosario (CosmicAry)
2026/09/10
What if the reason your manifestation isn't working has nothing to do with wanting it more, visualizing harder, or finding the perfect affirmation and everything to do with whether your nervous system feels safe enough to receive it? Your mind wants the next level. But if your body doesn't feel safe holding it, it will find a way to keep you from getting there. In this episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast, Anita sits down with Transformational Coach, Mindset Mentor, Spiritual Teacher, and Awakening Academy founder Ariana Del Rosario (CosmicAri) for a deeper conversation about what manifestation actually requires beyond mindset. Through her coaching, guided meditations, and online content, Ariana has helped thousands of people break through limiting beliefs, reprogram subconscious patterns, and become more conscious creators of their lives. Ariana shares her own journey from having roughly $500 saved and sleeping on a yoga mat to building a thriving online community, coaching thousands of people, and stepping onto stages she once would have been afraid to occupy. But this conversation isn't simply about what she manifested. It's about who she had to become to hold it. Together, Anita and Ariana explore the connection between manifestation, nervous system regulation, identity, self-worth, subconscious patterns, shadow work, and fear and why creating a different life often requires becoming willing to meet the parts of yourself that are still attached to the old one. They unpack why familiar chaos can feel safer than unfamiliar success, how fear of visibility and judgment can keep you playing small, and why changing your external circumstances without addressing the emotional patterns underneath them can leave you recreating the same experiences in different forms. Ariana also shares the practice she uses when she's stepping into a new level: identifying what she's actually afraid of, working with the underlying emotional pattern, using breath to create safety in her body, and beginning to embody the identity of the woman who can hold what she desires. In this episode, you'll discover: Why manifestation is about more than positive thinking and affirmations. How your nervous system can resist something your conscious mind says it wants. Why unfamiliar expansion can trigger fear even when it's exactly what you've been asking for.The role identity plays in creating a new reality. How self-worth, visibility, and fear of judgment affect what you allow yourself to pursue. Why shadow work and emotional patterning matter in manifestation. How to recognize when you're choosing from an old wound instead of your heart. Why self-abandonment in one area of your life can affect everything else. How Ariana uses breath to teach her body that a new level is safe. Why every new level may reveal a new layer of fear. What it means to step through the "portal of fear" instead of waiting for fear to disappear. Why receiving your next level may require letting go of what no longer matches who you're becoming. Because manifestation isn't only about asking: "How do I get what I want?" The deeper questions are: Who do I need to become to hold it? What part of me still believes this level isn't safe? What becomes possible when I stop creating from fear and start choosing from the woman I'm becoming? If this conversation resonates, follow The Arise with Anita Podcast, share this episode with someone standing at the edge of her own expansion, and leave a review to help more women find the show. It's Not a Money Problem, It's a Capacity Problem
2026/09/09
On today's solo episode of The Arise with Anita podcast, we're talking about the financial ceiling you may not even realize you have and why making more isn't the same as holding more. What we talked about: Your next level doesn't require you to become better at struggling: it requires you to become the woman who can hold stability, receive support, and be well compensated without immediately proving how hard she worked for it.The woman who can experience a good month without telling herself "don't get used to this" who no longer needs a crisis to activate her potential. This week's implementation:  Take an honest look at your financial life over the last year and ask yourself: Where do I repeatedly return financially? Is there a specific income number, bank account balance, debt level, or business revenue level that seems to keep becoming my baseline? What do I believe would change if I consistently had more than this? What am I afraid might happen if I actually reached and maintained the next level?Who am I without the struggle? What number makes me uncomfortable, and what do I make that number mean?Who do I believe I have to become to hold the amount of money I say I want? How does she make decisions, invest, and who does she hire or allow to support her?Who does she surround herself with and learn from? What percentage does she save? What does she give?Where does this next level still feel unfamiliar in my body, identity, or life? What would help it begin to feel normal instead of something I have to brace against? Approach these with curiosity, not shame. You don't need to fix your entire financial reality overnight  start by becoming aware of the patterns, beliefs, and identities that appear when you imagine having more. The question isn't only "how do I make more?" It's also "how much am I willing to learn how to hold?" What if the ceiling you've been trying to break isn't proof you can't have more but an invitation to expand your capacity to hold it? If this episode resonates, share it with a woman who's ready to change not only how much she makes, but what she believes she's capable of receiving, holding, and sustaining. Say It While You Can: What Losing My Grandpa Taught Me About Life, Voice & Delay
2026/09/03
The Arise with Anita Podcast: This is one of the most personal episodes I've ever recorded. → In honor of my grandfather Azat's birthday, I'm sharing the story of his final days and the lesson they taught me about time, voice, and the danger of delaying what matters. → Thirty minutes before his cardiac arrest, my grandfather asked my mom to film him. The video never happened. He never spoke again. → In this episode, I share: The story of Azat: a man whose name means "freedom" and who became the father figure I needed. What his unconditional belief in me taught me about trusting myself? Why I now refuse to leave important things unsaid or unlived? Three questions to ask yourself about what you're delaying: What are you delaying? What truth still needs to be expressed? What is one thing you can begin today instead of assuming you'll have time tomorrow?→ This episode is for anyone sitting on a truth, a dream, or a "someday" they keep postponing. Why You Over-Explain Yourself And What You're Really Afraid Will Happen
2026/09/01
In this solo episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast, Anita unpacks something you may not even realize you're doing: over-explaining. Have you ever said no… and immediately followed it with three reasons why? Written the text, then added another paragraph just to make sure you weren't misunderstood? Defended a decision no one even questioned? Anita explores: Why over-explaining can look like thoughtful communication but is often a form of self-protection.The difference between communicating your truth and unconsciously asking for permission. Why your mind may know you're allowed to have boundaries while your body still braces for the consequences. What triggers you to "prove" yourself and around whom. How to build the self-trust to let your truth stand without defending it. Plus, a simple embodiment challenge for this week: say 20% less and learn to tolerate the space after your truth. Because maybe owning your voice isn't about becoming louder. Maybe it's about becoming clear enough to say: this is what I want, this is what I need, this is what I've decided and trusting that you don't need someone else to understand your truth perfectly for it to be valid. If this episode brought someone to mind, share it with her. Stop Performing Life: The Day Everything Else Fell Away | Melissa Tassie
2026/08/27
There are moments in life when the roles, titles, expectations, and identities we've built suddenly stop mattering and we're left face-to-face with what actually does. In this episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast, Anita sits down with leadership architect, coach, speaker, and Stop Performing Life host Melissa Tassie for a deeply human conversation about what happens when life interrupts the performance. Melissa shares the experience that changed the trajectory of her life: her daughter's diagnosis with severe aplastic anemia. At the time, Melissa was leading a high-performing team in a career she loved while trying to compartmentalize the fear and uncertainty her family was facing. Eventually, everything else fell away, and Melissa made the decision to step out of the role she had worked so hard to build and be fully present for what mattered most. But this conversation is about more than one defining moment. Anita and Melissa explore the expectations we inherit as women, professionals, and leaders and how easily those expectations can become identities we perform without realizing it. They unpack what it means to seek approval, to shape-shift in certain rooms, to recognize when a role that once fit no longer does, and to become willing to disappoint other people rather than continually abandon yourself. Melissa also shares the moment she returned to a career she had genuinely loved and realized she had changed so deeply that she no longer fit inside it. What once felt aligned no longer did and instead of forcing herself back into an old identity, she chose to listen.  Together, they dive into authenticity, intuition, human-first leadership, meaningful connection, purpose, and the influence Og Mandino's The Greatest Salesman in the World has had on Melissa's philosophy of life.  Because sometimes transformation doesn't begin with adding something new. Sometimes it begins when everything else falls away—and you finally have the opportunity to ask: Who am I underneath all the roles I've learned to play? In this episode, you'll hear: Melissa's journey through her daughter's life-threatening diagnosis,The difference between living and performing your life. Why success can still become an identity you outgrow.Learning to trust yourself when something no longer feels right.Becoming comfortable disappointing people. The hidden cost of performing for approval. Why human connection matters more than ever. What Og Mandino taught Melissa about purpose, possibility, and becoming who you're here to be..If you've ever reached a point where the life you built still looks right from the outside but doesn't feel like home anymore, this conversation is for you. Sometimes you aren't lost. You've simply become someone your old life was never designed to hold. If this resonated, share it with someone who needs it and follow The Arise with Anita Podcast for more honest conversations at the intersection of ambition, embodiment, soul, and strategy. The Identity Tax: Why Being 'Fine' Is Costing You More Than You Think
2026/08/25
What if you're not actually fine you're just very good at functioning? You're getting up. Working. Meeting deadlines. Taking care of everyone. Checking the boxes. And from the outside, nothing looks wrong. But internally, you're overriding your needs, swallowing your truth, and convincing yourself things don't affect you when they do. In this episode: The difference between being fine and simply functioning. How "the strong one" and "the one who doesn't need anything" become identities. Why people-pleasing, perfectionism, and overworking can create results — while still costing you deeply. Why your nervous system may prefer a familiar identity even after you've outgrown it.A guided practice to identify what's underneath "fine" and begin rewriting who you're allowed to be without the performance.Because sometimes exhaustion isn't asking for another productivity hack. Sometimes it's asking: how much energy are you spending to override yourself? If this episode resonates, share it with the woman who's always "fine" even when you know she's carrying more than she lets on. He Spent Years Earning Love Instead of Receiving It Ryan Spence on People-Pleasing, the Needy Man Archetype & Self-Worth
2026/08/20
What happens when you spend years trying to earn love instead of believing you’re already worthy of receiving it? In this episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast, I sit down with somatic relationship coach Ryan Spence for an honest conversation about people-pleasing, anxious attachment, self-worth, and the patterns we develop when being ourselves doesn’t feel safe. Ryan opens up about his own journey: from growing up feeling inadequate and using food for emotional comfort, to losing 130 pounds, navigating more than 100 first dates, building a successful corporate career, and eventually realizing that underneath so much of his achievement and relationship behavior was one question: Who do I need to be for you to choose me? We unpack what Ryan calls the “needy man” archetype - the version of himself who overgave, became hyper-attuned to women’s needs, hid his own desires, kept the peace, and looked to relationships for validation of his worth. But this conversation goes far beyond dating. Ryan and I explore what happens when people-pleasing becomes an identity, why overgiving can actually be rooted in fear, how unspoken expectations create resentment, and the difference between genuinely giving to someone and abandoning yourself in order to maintain connection. We also get into the nervous system piece: why you can intellectually know you’re worthy and still not feel worthy, why authenticity can feel unsafe when you've spent years adapting to other people, and what begins to change when you finally stop performing and allow yourself to be seen. We talk about: The hidden belief underneath trying to earn love.Ryan’s experience with the “needy man” archetype.People-pleasing, anxious attachment, and fear of rejection. Why overgiving isn’t always as selfless as it appears.Giving from genuine desire vs. giving from fear. How childhood experiences can shape adult relationships. Why authenticity can initially feel threatening to the nervous system.Learning to communicate your needs instead of expecting others to read them. The relationship between achievement and self-worth.What Ryan learned from losing 130 pounds and why changing his body didn’t automatically heal his worth.Dropping the mask and becoming comfortable with who you actually are.How to begin choosing yourself without becoming hyper-independent.Masculinity, vulnerability, softness, and emotional safety. If you’ve ever caught yourself - overgiving, overthinking, keeping the peace, hiding what you really want, or becoming who you think someone needs you to be so they won’t leave, this conversation will give you a lot to reflect on. Because the work may not be becoming more lovable. It may be learning to stop performing for the love you were worthy of receiving all along. The Woman You're Becoming Requires Different Standards
2026/08/18
What if your life isn't reflecting your potential but the standards you've normalized? Not your goals, your vision board or everything you say you want. Your STANDARDS. In this solo episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast, Anita explores the connection between self-worth, identity, boundaries, people-pleasing, and the standards we accept in every area of our lives: from relationships and business to health, self-talk, time, and peace. Because raising your standards isn't about becoming rigid, demanding, or perfect. It's about self-respect. It's deciding what you will and won't negotiate before the moment arrives that tests you. Anita shares how she's learning to apply this in real time: from honoring commitments to her health and fitness, to recognizing people-pleasing, trusting her intuition, protecting her time, and becoming more intentional about what the next version of herself will no longer tolerate. You'll explore: Why your standards often reveal what you believe you're worth. The difference between high standards and perfectionism. How people-pleasing quietly lowers the standards you've set for yourself. Why betraying your intuition can erode self-trust.The standards your next identity may require. Why boundaries aren't about controlling others: they're about protecting what matters to you.How your self-talk becomes part of the standard you live by.Why consistency can actually create more freedom, not less. How to stop negotiating with yourself every time discomfort appears.Four reflection questions to help you identify what you're ready to raise, release, and no longer tolerate. Because the woman building the business has different standards than the woman only dreaming about it. The woman creating a healthy relationship has different standards than the woman accepting breadcrumbs. And the woman stepping into leadership has different standards around her energy, her calendar, her conversations, her boundaries — and the way she speaks to herself. Your next chapter doesn't require you to become an entirely different person. It may simply require you to protect the woman you're already becoming. And maybe that's what standards really are: Not rules. Not restrictions. Promises you make to yourself. Reflection Questions Where have I been lowering my standards to avoid disappointing other people? What standard would make the biggest difference in my life over the next 90 days?Where am I saying yes when I actually mean no?What does the woman I'm becoming simply no longer negotiate or tolerate? If this episode resonates, send it to a woman who's ready to stop negotiating with her worth and start living in alignment with the life she's creating. You’ve Been Programmed for Unhappiness: How to Unlearn Worry, Expectations & Suffering | Rebecca L. Norrington
2026/08/13
What if the reason you're struggling to feel happy isn't because something is missing from your life but because you've been programmed for unhappiness? In this episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast, Anita sits down with happiness specialist, inner peace practitioner, author, and Reality Spirituality host Rebecca L. Norrington for a raw, provocative conversation that challenges some of the most deeply held beliefs in personal development. Rebecca believes happiness isn't something you achieve once your circumstances finally change. Happiness is the practiced ability to maintain peace and contentment regardless of what life is doing around you. And this conversation puts that philosophy to the test. From worry and expectations to grief, judgment, manifestation, emotional triggers, and our attachment to the stories we tell ourselves, Rebecca challenges Anita and you to question just how much of what we consider "normal" is actually learned programming. Inside this episode, we explore: Why happiness is a practiced skill—not a destinationThe 56 behaviors Rebecca believes program us for unhappinessA $50 million entrepreneur told her, to her face, that her life's work was toxic and she asked him for a selfie. Why worry isn't the same thing as loveHow expectations can quietly steal your peace. The difference between reacting to life and consciously responding. A radically different perspective on grief, emotions, and letting go of the "why". How comparison, blame, judgment, and control disconnect us from contentment. Why acceptance is the first step when you feel resistance. What it means to stop taking other people's words and opinions personallyWhy feeling "behind" may be another form of conditioning. Rebecca's controversial perspective on manifestation, free will, and surrender. How to stop outsourcing your happiness to circumstances, achievements, or other people.A rowboat in a storm: her metaphor for what real trust and surrender actually feel like.Rebecca doesn't offer surface-level positivity. She invites us to question the programming underneath our thoughts, behaviors, expectations, and emotional reactions and to ask a much deeper question: What would your life feel like if your peace no longer depended on anything outside of you? This episode may challenge you. It may trigger you. And it may completely change the way you think about happiness. Because maybe happiness isn't waiting for you on the other side of the relationship, career, money, healing, achievement, or next version of yourself. Maybe the real work is learning how to be at peace here. Connect with Rebecca L. It’s Not Broken, It’s Buried: A 3-Step Reset Back to You
2026/08/11
What if you haven’t actually lost yourself but you’ve just lost access to the parts of you that have been buried beneath responsibility, expectations, survival mode, and everything life has asked you to carry?  In this solo episode of The Arise with Anita Podcast, Anita walks you through a simple three-part practice for coming back home to yourself: Awareness, Regulation, and Embodiment. Because you don’t think your way back to yourself. You tell yourself the truth. You create enough safety in your body to actually sit with that truth. And then you begin making small, aligned choices that rebuild trust with yourself. In this episode, Anita explores why awareness alone isn’t enough to create transformation, how avoiding what you already know can keep your nervous system activated, and why sustainable change doesn’t require completely overhauling your life overnight. You’ll explore: The questions to ask when you no longer feel like yourself. Why radical honesty is the beginning of change. How to listen to your body instead of bypassing it.The role nervous system regulation plays in making aligned decisions. Why rest, movement, emotion, and stillness can all be forms of regulation. How small acts of embodiment rebuild self-trust.Why becoming your next version happens one aligned choice at a time.If you’ve been feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or like you’ve drifted away from yourself, this episode is an invitation to stop trying to find yourself somewhere outside of you. You’re not broken. You’re not lost. You may simply need to uncover what’s been there all along and come back home to yourself.
