Can the Fear of God Actually Bring Comfort? - S3E20
2026/11/04
This week on The Walk, Raul, Caleb, Luke and Tyler pick up in Acts 9, after Saul meets Jesus and starts preaching the faith he once tried to destroy. They talk about what communion means when you remember that Christ “was pierced for our transgressions” (Isaiah 53:5). They also take on a listener’s question: when exactly did the religious leaders go from teaching God’s law to hunting down His people? The episode ends with a quick-fire panel on Acts 9:31 and how a healthy fear of the Lord and the comfort of the Holy Spirit go together. Want to know more about Veneration Church? Would You Have Called Saul “Brother”? - S3E19
2026/10/28
In Acts 9, the most educated man in the room meets Jesus on the road to Damascus and comes away blind, humbled and completely changed. Raul and the crew talk about Saul’s head full of knowledge and heart empty of Jesus, why Jesus asked “Why are you persecuting me?”, and the quiet courage of Ananias, who was told “go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine” (Acts 9:15) and went. Along the way they get into religion as a checklist versus real freedom in Christ, the distractions that keep us from saying “Here I am, Lord,” and the reminder that Christ died for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). The Surest Way to Find Your Spiritual Gift - S3E18
2026/10/21
Want to find out how God made you? Stop waiting and start serving. The guys wrap up the partnership series by talking about belonging, spiritual gifts, and why the deepest connection grows out of serving side by side.
Building Update 2 - S3E17
2026/10/14
It might look quiet out on the property, but a lot is happening behind the scenes. Tyler, Luke and Matt talk through the latest on the new building: the dirt-work fix that saved hundreds of thousands, the timeline for the well and foundation, and why we trust God’s timing.
The Silent Divorce Happening in the Church - S3E16
2026/10/07
R.T. Kendall described a "silent divorce" in the church between the Word and the Spirit, and said revival comes when the two are reunited. Raul is joined by Caleb, Luke and Tyler to talk through that idea alongside John 15:5, "apart from me you can do nothing." They get into how pruning makes room for the Spirit, why repentance comes before revival, and why the church should look less like a cruise ship full of passengers and more like a battleship full of soldiers.

Are You Running to Gospel Opportunities? - S3E15
2026/09/30
In Acts 8, Philip runs to a chariot on a desert road and tells a searching official the good news about Jesus. Caleb, Luke, Tyler and Raul talk about living in a way that makes people curious, and having an answer ready when they ask. They also share stories from a weekend of unplanned baptisms and look at Romans 10:14, the reason God keeps us here after we're saved. Our new Partnership series starts this Sunday at Rankin Elementary at 9 and 11am, or you can join us online at venerationchurch.com.
Gratitude Is a Defense Tactic - S3E14
2026/09/23
What does it actually look like to be rooted in Christ? This week Raul sits down with Tyler, Caleb, and Levi to unpack Colossians 2:6-7, where Paul names four marks of a maturing believer: rooted, built up, established in the faith, and abounding in thanksgiving. They get into how false teaching slips into a church unnoticed, why discipleship was never meant to be a program, and how a simple habit of naming what God has given you can reset a heart that's drifted. Mind Your Own Sanctification - S3E13
2026/09/16
Spirit Halloween opens in August, and the same argument opens with it. Raul, Luke, Tyler, and Caleb each handle trick-or-treating their own way at home, and they say why. From there they get into horror movies, crude comedies, drinking, and tattoos, with Paul's line from 1 Corinthians 10:23 sitting over the whole conversation: everything is lawful, and not everything builds people up. They talk about holding a conviction without hanging it on your brother, correcting a friend so he can hear it, and how much of this settles once you give your attention to your own walk with Jesus. Join us Sundays at 9 and 11 at Rankin Elementary in Kalispell.
Why Is Sunday Morning Not Enough? - S3E12
2026/09/09
Bruce brings 50 years of ministry to Veneration, and this fall he takes over life groups. He sits down with Luke and Tyler to answer what most people want to know: what happens in a life group, and what does it take to lead one? Tyler tells the story of the group he tried to talk his wife out of, the one that pointed him toward ministry. Hebrews 10:24 (ESV) says, "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works." Groups launch September 13, and you can sign up at venerationchurch.com or in the lobby on Sunday.
Why Pray for Opportunities You Already Have? - S3E11
2026/09/02
As we move into the serving stretch of our Abide journey, Raul, Caleb, Luke, and Tyler get honest about what it actually looks like to serve people outside the walls of a church building. From a driveway conversation with a man facing a terrible diagnosis, to a wife who quietly cared for a dying neighbor for months, the conversation lands on a hard truth: we have plenty of knowledge and not nearly enough action. "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God." (Hebrews 13:16, ESV)
Who Are You on Monday Morning? - S3E10
2026/08/26
You spend a third of your life at work, so what does following Jesus actually look like there? Raul, Caleb, Luke, and Tyler talk honestly about missed opportunities, blown witness, and why comfort might be the real thing holding us back. "…always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you." - 1 Peter 3:15
Join us for Beast Feast on September 3rd, details at flatheadbeastfeast.com.
You're a Witness, Not God's Defense Attorney - S3E9
2026/08/19
In Acts 7, Stephen faces the Sanhedrin and delivers one of the boldest speeches in Scripture - walking them through everything God had done, then calling them stiff-necked people who always resist the Holy Spirit. This week the guys sit down to talk through what that resistance looks like in us: ignoring conviction, loving information but avoiding transformation, treating the Spirit as a feeling instead of a person, and crowding Him out with noise and busyness. They also dig into the difference between being a witness and being a defense attorney for God.
Join us Sundays at Rankin Elementary, or find out more, including our Beast Feast outreach on September 3rd in the Flathead Valley Fairgrounds Expo Building, at venerationchurch.com.
The Hidden Blessing Inside Persecution - S3E8
2026/08/12
This week on The Walk, Raul sits down with Luke and Tyler to talk through the life of Stephen - a man described as "full of faith and the Holy Spirit" and later "full of grace and power" (Acts 6:8-10). They dig into why persecution is rare in America compared to the rest of the world, how comfort can quietly dull our faith, and why the harshest opposition often comes from inside the church rather than outside it. It's an honest, personal conversation about what it really means to die to yourself, stand on truth, and be found faithful when it costs something. Join us Sundays at 9 and 11 at Rankin Elementary, or learn more at venerationchurch.com.
You Can't Have Faith Without Trust - S3E7
2026/08/05
This month's Abide journey theme is The Word: Faith & Trust, and on this episode Noah sits down with Caleb, Tyler, and Luke to talk about why the two can't really be separated. They dig into Hebrews 11 and share personal stories of stepping out before knowing how things would turn out, from career changes to cross-country moves. Along the way they get honest about fear of failure, what obedience actually looks like day to day, and why trusting God's character matters more than being certain of the outcome. Grab an Abide journal and follow along at VenerationChurch.com/Abide.
S3E6 - Who's Really In Control?
2026/07/29
This week on The Walk, we dig into Caleb's sermon from Acts 5, where the apostles are arrested, warned, and beaten - and respond with obedience by going right back out to preach. We talk through what it means to actually believe God is in control, and the difference between condemnation and conviction (Romans 8:1).
