The Can I Be Candid? gang are back from their live podcast tour and the post-tour blues have officially kicked in! Perrie, Ricci, Renée and Harry reminisce about the most incredible week and the INSANE reaction from everyone who came to the shows. But the big question for Perrie is… would she do it all again? And are you guys ready for tour round two? With the tour over, Perrie casually asks what everyone is up to this weekend, only for Renée to drop the bombshell that she’s officiating a wedding. Sorry, what?! Yep, our very own Vicar of Dibley is sitting right here on the Candid sofa. Naturally, Perrie has a lot of questions! After spending a week living together on a tour bus, the gang also debate tour bus etiquette, sharing an Airbnb with friends and the unspoken rules of group holidays. If you go to the toilet in the middle of the night, do you flush and risk waking everyone up, or leave a yellow surprise for the morning? And if someone wants an early night, should everyone else have to stop the party? As always, Team Candid has plenty of opinions, but we want to hear yours too! We’re coming to you directly from a car park… Yep, you read that correctly. The Candid crew are on the road in their giant tour bus, which is conveniently parked behind the venue. We’re halfway through the tour, so the gang are filming a special episode to bring you all the backstage gossip! From the live band and sexy dancers to Ricci’s top coming off, Perrie on a revolving stage, game-show prizes, Perrie-Oke, live confessions and so much more, the tour has been the most incredible experience. It’s been long enough… we finally feel ready to talk about lockdown! It’s a strange time that somehow feels like it happened yesterday and 20 years ago at the same time. Perrie’s mum is back on the sofa, and she actually lived with Perrie and Ricci throughout lockdown, so there are plenty of memories to unpack. From endless Zoom quizzes and confusing tier restrictions to lockdown walks and binge-watching entire TV series, we’re looking back at the weirdest moments from the pandemic. Ricci reminisces about his Prison Break marathon, although, to be honest, that’s about all he can remember. Perrie has some surprisingly fond lockdown memories, but it’s still a definitive no from her when it comes to ever doing it again. Meanwhile, Perrie’s mum is convinced lockdown turned everyone into walkers… and she’s still not happy about people getting in her way during her 5am strolls! Then it’s time for another round of Can I Be Controversial? This week, we’re tackling bad breath and body odour. What’s the etiquette? Should you tell someone? Do you politely ignore it? It’s officially September, which means the weather has turned, summer is over and it’s time to go back to school! This week, we’re talking all things school uniforms, back-to-school shopping and those nostalgic school-day memories. We all remember the dreaded uniform shop signalling the end of summer, from trying on oversized blazers to choosing a brand-new pencil case and stocking up on school supplies. Friday night at the movies meant getting yourself down to the local Blockbuster, picking a film or two, stocking up on snacks and bunkering down for the weekend. 📼🍿 A meal out at a fancy restaurant these days means the most difficult decision is usually where to sit for the best lighting for your pre-meal selfie. But back in the day, it was “smoking or non-smoking?” Like WTF… actually sitting inside while Barbara over there puffs away on her menthol cig?! 😭 Speaking of selfies… disposable cameras. What a moment! You took a photo, had absolutely no idea what it looked like and then had to wait WEEKS to get it back. Gen Z could never! 📸 We need to know: what’s got you feeling nostalgic lately? Introducing… Can I Be Controversial? 👀 Don’t worry, we’re not tackling anything too serious, but we are getting candid about the everyday dilemmas and taboo topics that always divide opinion. First up: splitting the bill. Do you divide it equally, pay only for what you ordered or expect someone else to pick up the whole thing? What happens if some people were drinking alcohol and others weren’t? And whatever you do, don’t get Perrie started on sharing side dishes! Then we’re moving on to an even more controversial debate: wedding plus-ones and children at weddings. Is every guest entitled to bring a partner? Does the couple need to know them? Should weddings be child-free? And do we agree with the rule “no ring, no bring”? As you can imagine, Perrie, Ricci, Renée and Harry have plenty to say! It’s GCSE results day, up and down the country kids are getting there results and finding out what their educational future looks like! So the gang are reminiscing their own results. Apparently, the party life just isn’t for him!He claims Perrie is a lightweight because every Ibiza trip takes her three to five working days to recover.
