Episode 14: Back To The Future
2026/08/15
And we're back with part 3 of our travel back in time to learn how the Joe Ganim/Mario Testa corruption regime came to be. So buckle up, we're going back to the future and you're about to hear some serious sh*t! On our way back we make a pit stop at Superior Court to find out what's going on with the 2023/24 election fraud cases. We also had to make a quick detour into the lie that is Christopher Columbus, and discuss why a literal hand full of Italian men of a certain age and who mostly don't live in Bridgeport, are still trying to force that god forsaken statue back into Seaside Park.
Episode 13: Back and Forth
2026/07/16
Welcome to Part 2 of our trip back in time. In this episode, we go even further back to the 1970s to bring forth the answers to some of life's most pressing questions: Where was Mario Testa? When did he pop on the scene? How did he become Chairman of the Bridgeport DTC? And why has he kept the local Democratic Party in a chokehold for over 40 years? Tune in as we go back, back, forth and forth.
Episode 12: Nice... and Rough!
2026/06/17
Happy 1-year anniversary to us! To celebrate, we thought we'd give it to you nice and easy. But we never do nothin' nice and easy... we do it nice and rough! In Episode 12, we get into the smooth operator scam that Joe Ganim and others ran out of Bridgeport City Hall in the 1990s. How does schmoozing developers like Donald Trump turn into stealing hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars? Tune in to find out what happens when certain people stopped following the law... and it started to get real.
Episode 11: Show Me The Money!
2026/04/21
In the previous episode we followed the money of Mayor Joe Ganim's 2023 campaign. Now, in episode 11, we're talking about money, AGAIN. It's time to show you the money of our local Democratic Party, like, how has a woman from Shelton been paying herself with party funds? How much DOUGH has Chairman Mario Testa paid himself? And, why does he think DTC meetings should involve what we ate for breakfast? On top of all of that we've got the deets on who's been caught in a group chat texting about a cover up?
Episode 10: Splish, Splash!
2026/03/12
The days are getting longer and so are these absentee ballot court cases! In Episode 10, we are back to share everything we learned in court yesterday, and to discuss what direction the ongoing investigation might be taking. We'll also debrief the BOMB from the Democratic Town Committee elections results, the upcoming citywide DTC meeting, and let you in on why Councilwoman Mary McBride Lee told Gemeem to "go jump in a lake!" The water is warm, is it time to swim? Tune in to find out!
Episode 9: Can I Get A Amen?
2026/02/11
Can I Get A Amen? It's Black History Month and in this episode we're going to church with Pastor Mike McBride from Live Free and the Black Church PAC to get some tools and strategies to beat back a fascists, authoritarian, government takeover. We're also checking in on Bridgeport's election fraud cases (because, what else is new) and we're readying ourselves for the 2026 local and national elections.
Episode 8: Double Trouble
2026/01/14
As we kick off 2026 we're seeing double. Double Trouble that is. Trump and Ganim go way back and so does their style of "governing." Lucky for us it's a new year and we're charging forward with no fear! In this months episode we break down how to SEE what's right in front of us, how to DESCRIBE what is happening to our country and our city, and concrete ways to BUILD a winning resistance movement.
Episode 7: Ball Of Confusion
2025/12/11
Listen, there’s beef in these Bridgeport political streets and it’s enough to make your head spin. Why? Because the people fighting each other are all on the same team and have worked together to rig the system for the establishment for years. In Episode 7, we do our very best to break it down for y'all. Starting with an update on the election fraud cases, we examine how the people involved are all connected AND what all these beefs have to do with the race for City Council President.
Episode 6: Tell The Truth, Shame The Devil
2025/11/13
In this episode, we’ve got truths to tell. Tune in as we recap what happened in court (to plea or not to plea?), the results of last Tuesday’s local elections, who’s talking out of both sides of their mouths, and how race is weaponized to uphold the status quo.
Episode 5: It's A Racist World And We're Just Living In It!
2025/10/13
In our last episode, we floated the question: Is Mario Testa a white savior? But before we can get into race and racism in Bridgeport, we're starting with ourselves. In Episode 5, we are sharing publicly our journey navigating the racial dynamics in our relationship, in the founding of Bridgeport Generation Now, and of how we developed into committed practitioners of anti-racism.
Episode 4: Oh The "Pasta"bilities...
2025/09/16
On today’s show we’re serving up Bridgeport's Democratic Town Committee aka "The Machine", what it is and how it operates. We're also desperately trying to figure out what a truck full of grapes has to do with the new election fraud charges filed against DTC Vice Chair, Wanda Geter-Pataky and City Councilman, Alfredo Castillo!
Episode 3: The Thing Of It Is...
2025/08/11
In part 2 of our story on absentee ballot crimes in Bridgeport, we “roll the tape” on leaked surveillance video, discuss the 9 arrests linked to the 2023 mayoral primary, and listen in as Mayor Joe Ganim gets testy on air with Melissa in the Morning from WICC.
Episode 2: What Had Happened Was...
2025/07/14
In January of 2024, The New York Times ran an article titled “Election Fraud Is Rare. Except Maybe In Bridgeport, CT.” In Episode 2, we go deep into the history of our organizing to stop absentee ballot abuse and fraud, often in the face of a Democratic establishment who is hellbent on keeping the status quo. This episode is the first part of a two-part story. Part 2 will air on Saturday, August 9th.
Episode 1: What The Bleep Is Going On Here?
2025/06/16
Strange things are happening in Bridgeport, CT and across the country. WTF is going on? In this first episode, we get into all of it: the good, the bad and the crazy. Co-hosts Gemeem and Callie discuss the history behind their organizing, how they discovered "the thing" underneath the thing (aka corruption), and how Bridgeport City Hall is a mirror image of the chaos in the White House.
