(still TBD) All that and more as we officially start our coverage of the 2026/2027 Georgetown Basketball season!

Vince Iwuchukwu is a Georgetown Hoya! Whether he suits up is a different question, and it may get answered Monday. This week: where Vince's New York case actually stands and what the September 1 injunction hearing decides; why his case is built differently from every other five-and-five fight; the Tennessee Court of Appeals staying the order that was protecting NJ Benson, and the language in that order that should worry you; the NCAA going three-for-three at the appellate level; the petition to consolidate every one of these cases into a single Tennessee court, which nobody is talking about; every Power Four conference banning returning pros while the Big East met and did nothing; and why timing — not the merits — may decide all of it. YOUR Georgetown Hoyas announce their first portal addition, PG Jaland Lowe. Lowe spent two seasons at Pitt before transferring last year to Kentucky, where he was slotted in to be THE guy, before a shoulder injury limited him to only 9 games. We talk about the player Georgetown is getting in Lowe, his fit on the current roster, and what this means for roster construction. Welcome Jaland! It's a great day to be a Hoya and live forever!
