The Price of Freedom: What You Have to Leave Behind to Grow
2026/10/06
Have you ever got something you really wanted and then thought, “Why am I not happier?” Maybe life is better on paper. The business is doing well. There’s more money in the bank. A relationship has ended that needed to end. New people have come into your life. Things are moving. But at the same time, there’s this feeling of, “I miss how things used to be.” Like the friend you're not talking to anymore. Or waking up every morning with your partner by your side. Or the camaraderie of working from the office. And then comes the guilt. “Why am I sad? I wanted this.” That’s the part of change nobody really prepares us for. Sometimes getting what we want also means saying goodbye to people, places, habits and versions of ourselves that we genuinely loved. And when that hurts more than expected, it’s very easy to start going backwards just to feel normal again. In this episode, we’re talking about what happens when the life we wanted starts costing us parts of the life we had, why that can bring up so much grief, and how to move through it without blowing up the good stuff because the old stuff still feels safer. Let's dive in! IN THIS EPISODEWhy getting exactly what we want can still come with grief, loss and a strange sense that something is missingWhy happiness and grief can exist at the same time without meaning something has gone wrongThe hidden cost of leaving the familiar behind, even when the new life is betterWhy the moment after a big breakthrough can be one of the easiest places to sabotage everythingHow people-pleasing, overworking and weak boundaries can keep success built on foundations that were never going to lastWhy getting what we want can suddenly force decisions that were much easier to avoid beforeWhat happens when grief gets buried under guilt, shame, frustration and self-judgment insteadWhy some things have to fall apart before they can be rebuilt in a way that actually worksWhat changes when one person grows and a relationship stays exactly the sameWhy “you’ve changed” can feel so uncomfortable - even when changing was the whole pointHow stronger boundaries can completely change relationships with people who were used to unlimited accessWhy saying yes to keep the peace can eventually create resentment insteadWhat really happens when the fear of losing people stops controlling decisionsWhy some relationships survive new boundaries - and others don’tThe difference between changing to keep someone happy and changing because life genuinely no longer fitsWhy growth can also mean grieving the person we used to beHow familiar habits like overworking, controlling and constantly planning can pull us backwards after a breakthroughThe questions that reveal what no longer belongs in the next version of lifeWhat growth really asks for beyond simply “becoming more”Why discomfort doesn’t automatically mean the wrong choice has been madeHow to prepare for the fact that going after something bigger may also mean letting something go RESOURCESThe Leadership Language Upgrade: 3 Common Words to Replace Today (Part 1)DM us TRAINING on Instagram to join the leadership training and transform your life in 90 days: https://www.instagram.com/freedomwithgiorgiaandawn
Freedom From Chronic Symptoms: Rethinking Illness with Neil Cannon
2026/09/29
Most of us know the frustration of finally getting a symptom under control, only for the pain, flare-up or exhaustion to come right back. And after a while, treating the symptom starts to feel like a never-ending game of whack-a-mole. What if the symptom isn't the problem? What if it's the clue? The truth is, if the same problem keeps coming back, something is still feeding it. It could be the stress of your job, dental issues that trigger illness somewhere else in the body or any combination of things that never get looked at because Western medicine is more interested in selling you pills to fix the symptoms than looking at the real causes of illness (some of which we're still discovering!). Neil Cannon, founder of The Body Electrician and author of "The Vitality Code" and "The Vitality Secret", is here to explain why he believes the better question is not “How do we get rid of this?” It's “What caused it in the first place?” In this episode, we get into what may actually be driving chronic symptoms, why inflammation and “low voltage” matter, and what can get missed when treatment stops at making the symptom disappear. IN THIS EPISODEWelcome Neil! His story and how he came to do this work. Why chronic inflammation may be the missing link behind seemingly unrelated health problems. What changes when the body is viewed as an electrical system rather than just a collection of organs. How to start looking for what’s driving a recurring symptom instead of playing whack-a-mole with it.The physical, emotional and environmental factors that can keep the body stuck in inflammation. What needs to be “unlearned” about genetics, chronic illness and the way health problems are labelled. What happens to our body when food moves too far away from the way it exists in nature. Why the health advice people hear may be shaped as much by money as by medicine. What changes when cancer is looked at as a response from the body, not just an enemy to destroy. Why Western medicine can save a life in an emergency and still fail badly at chronic illness. The problem with switching off a symptom while leaving the cause untouched. When medication is exactly what’s needed -even if it isn’t the whole answer.Neil's #1 way to unleash your freedom today. How to Make a Change That Actually Changes Your Life
2026/09/22
Have you ever thought, “Once I get there, I’ll be different”? Maybe “there” was a new job, a new relationship, a new country. And then you got there and realised… you were still you. We don’t talk about that part enough. The truth is, you can change your external circumstances and still get a lot of the same old, same old. So how do you make a change that actually makes you wake up in the morning and go, "I can't believe this is my life?" In this episode, we’re digging into what turns a temporary change into lasting transformation, why identity matters so much more than we realise, and why the change must start within first. IN THIS EPISODEWhy changing your circumstances can look like progress… while somehow leaving you feeling exactly the same. The real difference between changing what’s around you and transforming what’s happening within you.Why leaving the relationship, changing the job or chasing a new goal doesn’t automatically stop you recreating the same experience somewhere else. Why “I want to lose weight” and “I’m someone who values my health” may sound similar… but create very different choices. What diets, books, courses and shiny new goals all have in common when nothing underneath actually changes. Why the strategy probably isn’t the problem -whether you’re talking business, relationships or the latest diet everyone suddenly swears by.The point where a temporary change stops feeling like something you’re forcing and simply becomes “this is who I am now.”Where transformation really starts - and why the first question isn’t “What should I do?”What changes when you stop reacting in the heat of the moment and give yourself enough space to respond differently. The tiny decisions nobody notices that eventually create the transformation everyone else notices. How you know something has genuinely changed within you.Why one powerful experience can spark transformation… but what you do afterwards determines whether it actually lasts. Why real freedom isn’t just changing your circumstances — it’s becoming the person who can create the ones you actually want. How to Trust Your Intuition And Stop Overthinking With Julie Reisler
2026/09/15
Have you ever had a time where something inside you just knew? You knew you shouldn’t say yes. You knew something about that relationship wasn’t right. You knew it was time to leave the job, have the conversation, take the chance. And then your brain got involved. Suddenly you’re analysing everything, looking for proof, asking five different people what they think, convincing yourself you’re being dramatic or impulsive, and "trying" to make the “sensible” choice. The problem is, when you do that over and over again, you don’t just ignore your intuition. You slowly stop trusting yourself... and make decisions you regret. Maybe the answer isn’t to think harder. Maybe it’s learning how to hear the quieter voice underneath all that noise... Julie Reisler is a master coach and founder of the Intuitive Life Designer Coach Academy, and much of her work focuses on helping people understand, strengthen and trust their intuition. In this episode, you’ll discover how to tell the difference between fear and intuition, why overthinking makes it so hard to hear, and how learning to trust that inner knowing can change the way you make decisions and lead to a life of abundance and freedom. IN THIS EPISODEWelcome Julie! Her story and how she came to do this work. Why we’re so conditioned to trust logic over intuition - even when something inside us is telling us otherwise. Is it intuition or fear? The key differences that can help you recognise which voice you’re actually listening to.Why intuition doesn’t always make logical sense - and why that doesn’t necessarily mean you should dismiss it.The different ways intuition can show up (without you even realising it!).Why overthinking can drown out your intuition - and the first thing to do when your analytical brain takes over.A surprisingly practical way to build trust in your intuition. What to do when you need to make a decision and you genuinely don’t know the answer yet.How comparison, self-doubt and feeling “not good enough” can steal your freedom. The simple mindset shift that can stop comparison from pulling you into a spiral.Does intuition work the same way for everyone? Still Waiting for Closure? How to Free Yourself and Move On
2026/09/08
Have you ever had someone walk out of your life and you’re just left thinking, what the hell happened? Maybe they blocked you. Maybe they stopped talking to you. Maybe the relationship ended and you never really got an explanation. And now you keep thinking, "if I could just talk to them one more time… if I could just understand why they did it… then maybe I could finally let it go..." Would you... really? Because sometimes we get the explanation and it's just not enough to move on. In this episode, we’re talking about why you don’t actually need someone else to give you closure, what you might really be looking for when you keep asking “why?”, and how to finally make peace with what happened and move on. IN THIS EPISODEWhy we get so stuck when a relationship ends without the conversation, explanation, or apology we wantedWhat might actually be going on when someone can’t or won’t give you the answers you’re looking forWhen someone owes you an explanation - and when “no” really is a complete sentenceWhy waiting for someone to take accountability can keep you emotionally connected to them long after the relationship is overThe uncomfortable reason you might keep asking “why?” even when you think you just want closureWhen trying to “understand what happened” is secretly about finding a way back into the relationshipWhy finally getting the explanation you’ve been desperate for might not give you the closure you thought it wouldWhat your hardest relationships can show you about people-pleasing, boundaries and the patterns you keep repeatingWhat can happen to a relationship when you change but the other person still expects the old version of youWhy the ending you wanted might never happen - and how to close the door yourself instead of waiting for someone else to do it for you RESOURCESThe “I Know” Trap: The Two Words That Keep You From the Life You WantDM us TRAINING on Instagram to join the leadership training and transform your life in 90 days: https://www.instagram.com/freedomwithgiorgiaandawn
How to Feel Free When You Can’t Change What’s Happening in Your Life With Carly Alyssa Thorne
2026/09/01
Have you ever caught yourself thinking, “I’ll finally feel free when my health gets better/life gets easier/I'll have more money...?" The problem is, some circumstances, like a chronic illness, may not change. Otherwise, like getting out of debt, may take a while. Does that mean you can’t feel free until then? Not necessarily. Because while you may not be able to choose your circumstances, you can still choose how you live with them. And those choices - from how you talk to yourself to the boundaries you set and what you do each day - can make the difference between feeling trapped by your life and actually living it. Carly Alyssa Thorne knows this firsthand. Having lived with serious health problems since birth, she’s had to learn how to create a life she enjoys without waiting for her health to suddenly get better. In this episode, we explore why freedom is something you can create every day, and the role your language, boundaries, mindset and daily choices play in it. Break Free From Autopilot And Make Your Life Feel Extraordinary Again
2026/08/25
Ever feel like you’re doing all the things you’re supposed to do, but somehow your life has started to feel a bit… same old, same old? The business you dreamed about becomes stressful. The city you couldn’t wait to live in becomes the same coffee shops and the same routine. The little thing your partner does for you every day stops feeling special and starts feeling... expected. That’s the sneaky thing about autopilot. The more familiar something becomes, the less you notice it. The problem with this? You stop appreciating the amazing life you've created. Worse, you can also stop questioning what you’re doing, miss other possibilities and keep looking for something new when the thing that could make the biggest difference is already there. In this episode, you’ll discover where you may be operating on autopilot, what it could be costing you, and how paying attention to what you’ve stopped noticing could change the way you experience your life. IN THIS EPISODEWhy your brain puts so much of your life on autopilot - and what you stop seeing when it doesHow the things you once desperately wanted can quietly become things you barely notice anymoreWhy familiarity can give you a false sense of securityWhat you could discover when you start looking at your everyday life like a tourist againHow getting curious about your language, habits and strengths can reveal things you’ve been overlookingWhy the opportunities you’re searching for may be coming from somewhere completely different than you expectedThe connection between autopilot and gratitude - and why gratitude is about more than writing a listWhy the ordinary moments may end up being the ones that you'll remember when they're goneHow changing what you pay attention to can change the way you experience what you already haveThe science behind why your brain loves autopilot and turns repeated actions into automatic habitsA ridiculously simple way to interrupt autopilot by doing an everyday task differentlyWhy changing the way you normally do something can force you to slow down and actually pay attention RESOURCESThe Five Minute JournalThe Leadership Language Upgrade: 3 Common Words to Replace Today (Part 1)Donna Eden Energy MedicineDM us TRAINING on Instagram to join the leadership training and transform your life in 90 days: https://www.instagram.com/freedomwithgiorgiaandawn
How to Heal Your Past, Your Health and Yourself with Sarah Dawkins
2026/08/18
Have you ever had something going on with your health for so long that you've basically just accepted it? Maybe you're always tired. Or wearing stress like a badge of honour. Or your skin flares up at the wrong moments. And after a while, you just think, "Well, this is how it is." What if it doesn't have to be? What if some of the things you’ve accepted as “just how I am” could actually be healed? And how much more freedom would you have if they weren’t there anymore? In this episode, we’re talking about what happens when you stop just dealing with the symptoms and start asking what’s actually causing them (hint: it's usually something from your past you haven’t fully dealt with yet). Joining us is Sarah Dawkins, author of "Heal Yourself" and a former registered nurse who spent more than 20 years in conventional medicine before her own healing journey made her question everything she thought she knew about getting well. You’ll learn how to start listening to what your body is actually telling you, some of the signs you might be ignoring, and the small changes you can start making to heal your body without trying to overhaul your entire life overnight. Let's dive in. In This EpisodeWelcome Sarah Dawkins and how she came to do this workWhy treating a symptom and actually healing it aren't necessarily the same thingWhat can happen when the life you're living no longer feels like youWhy getting to the root of a health problem can mean looking beyond the physicalWhere do you even start when changing your diet, lifestyle and environment feels completely overwhelming? Why making lots of healthy changes at once can actually make it harder to understand what your body needsHow to start listening to your body - and the subtle signs that something might not be working for youWhy a change that helps you now doesn't necessarily have to be something you do foreverWhy changing your lifestyle doesn't have to mean throwing everything away and starting againHow unresolved emotions and experiences from years ago can continue to affect the way you feel todayWhat "inner child" work actually looks like when you strip away all the jargonWhy stress may be playing a much bigger role in how you feel than you realiseThe difference between what you can control and what you're exhausting yourself trying to controlHow people-pleasing, perfectionism and worrying about other people's reactions can keep you stuck in stressWhy letting go of other people's opinions can give you a completely different kind of freedomHow to support someone without automatically trying to fix their problemSarah's #1 to start unleashing your freedom today RESOURCESCheck out Sarah's website Read Sarah's book, Heal YourselfFollow Sarah on LinkedInFollow Sarah on InstagramRead Sarah's SubstackCheck out Sarah's YouTube ChannelListen to Sarah's podcast on Apple and SpotifyThe Leadership Language Upgrade: 3 Common Words to Replace Today (Part 1)DM us TRAINING on Instagram to join the leadership training and transform your life in 90 days: https://www.instagram.com/freedomwithgiorgiaandawn
The “I Know” Trap: The Two Words That Keep You From the Life You Want
2026/08/11
Have you ever been so sure you knew what you were doing that you ignored advice that, in hindsight, would have made things easier or faster? Maybe someone gave you advice and your immediate reaction was, “Yeah, but that won’t work for me.” Or you kept doing something the same way because you’d always done it that way. Or you walked into a conversation thinking you already knew what was going on, only to realise afterwards that you’d missed a crucial detail. We all do it. And sometimes, knowing what works for you is a good thing. The problem starts when “I know” becomes the end of the conversation. Because when you're convinced you already have the answer, you stop asking questions, stop experimenting, and often stop seeing the possibilities right in front of you. In this episode, we what happens when “I know” becomes your default response, how it can keep you stuck without you even realising it, and what can happen when you're willing to pause and ask, “OK… but what if I'm missing something?” Let's dive in! IN THIS EPISODEWhy saying "I know" shuts down the people around you and stops conversations before they even startThe gap between knowing about something and actually implementing it - and why that gap is costing you time and resultsHow identity shapes your options - and what you knowThe difference between arrogance ("I know it all") and confidence ("Let's figure this out together") - and how to tell which one you're wearingPractical language hacks to to replace "That's just who I am" with curiosityWhy the uncomfortable phrase "I don't know" is one of the most powerful things you can sayHow to stay open to feedback without abandoning your expertise or your standards RESOURCESDM us TRAINING on Instagram to join the leadership training and transform your life in 90 days: https://www.instagram.com/freedomwithgiorgiaandawn
From Bullied Behind Bars To Freedom: The Road To A Life Of Authenticity And Faith With Matt Melvin
2026/08/04
It's easy to reduce a person to their worst moment. A mugshot. A headline. The word "prison" attached to a name... and suddenly that one fact becomes the whole story of who someone is. Matt Melvin gave the world every reason to do exactly that. A desperate decision lead spiraled into a six-year federal investigation and 18 months locked up across four states and ten institutions. And yet, he refuses to let that be the whole story. Not by making excuses. By doing the opposite: taking full ownership of the decision that put him there, while also refusing to accept that a prison sentence makes someone less human, less worthy, less capable of change. This is an episode about what it actually takes to stop being defined by your worst moment - yours or someone else's. IN THIS EPISODEWelcome Matt! His story and what inspired him to write the bookThe masks we wear to be liked - and the moment "accept me or not" becomes the only way forwardThe hidden payoff of people-pleasing and fixing - and why it's costing more than it's givingWhat actually happens behind bars that "60 Days In" won't show youWhy "everything happens for us, not to us" is the line between victimhood and empowermentHow a single moment can become "the line in the sand" that changes the direction of a lifeThe surprising truth about why a system is overcrowded - and it's not what you'd assume"What can you do for me?" vs. "What can I do for you?" - the mindset shift that pays back tenfoldWhat it takes to tell the version of your story you'd rather keep hiddenWhy so many men were taught crying wasn't allowed - and what that costs decades laterThe one question to ask before giving adviceWhy "I'm trying" is a lie you tell yourself - and what Yoda already knewMatt's #1 way to start unleashing your freedom today RESOURCESCheck out Matt's websiteBuy the book, "Bullied Behind Bars: A Gay Christian Trump Supporter Goes to Prison"Follow Matt on InstagramThe Leadership Language Upgrade: 3 Common Words to Replace Today (Part 1)DM us TRAINING on Instagram to join the leadership training and transform your life in 90 days: https://www.instagram.com/freedomwithgiorgiaandawn
From “I Need” to Freedom: Changing the Way You Make Decisions
2026/07/28
Have you ever noticed how often you say, "I just need..."? I just need more money. I just need more time. I need to lose weight before I start dating. I need another qualification before I can go after that job. We say it all the time without even thinking about it. It just feels natural. Smart, even. And yet... What if every time you tell yourself you need something before you can move forward, you're actually putting your life on hold? In this episode, we're unpacking what need really means, why it creates a mindset of scarcity without us even realising it, and the shift that completely changes the way you make decisions - and the results you get. IN THIS EPISODEThe surprising origins of the word "need" and what it may be signalling to your brain every time you say it.How to tell the difference between making decisions from fear and scarcity versus making them from vision. Why waiting until you have "enough" money, confidence, time, or qualifications can become a never-ending cycle. The important distinction between your basic human requirements and the stories you tell yourself about what you need before you can move forward. How inherited beliefs around safety, responsibility, and security influence the choices you make today. How taking one small step can reveal opportunities you couldn't see while you were waiting for certainty. Why changing a single word in your vocabulary could change the way you approach your goals, your decisions, and the life you're trying to create. From Coercive Control to Freedom: Rebuilding Your Life After Emotional Abuse by Christine Dillard
2026/07/21
Have you ever found yourself making excuses for someone's behaviour? Telling yourself they were just stressed, they didn't mean it, or maybe you're simply being too sensitive? Little by little, you stop trusting your own instincts until you can't tell the difference between a bad relationship and emotional abuse. The hardest part about coercive control isn't always leaving. It's recognising you're living through it in the first place. Because when there are no bruises, no dramatic fights, and no obvious signs, it's easy to dismiss each incident instead of seeing the pattern that's stealing your confidence, identity, and life. After surviving 17 years of coercive control, gaslighting, and psychological abuse, Christine Dillard is helping others put words to experiences they've spent years questioning. In this episode, you'll discover why so many people struggle to recognise coercive control, how your body often knows something is wrong before your mind does, and what it really takes to reclaim your identity after emotional abuse. IN THIS EPISODEWelcome Christine Dillard! Maybe you've been putting in the effort for months. Maybe years. You've invested your time, energy, money, and hope into something that matters deeply to you. The Freedom to Learn: Why Homeschooling Might Be the Smartest Decision You Make for Your Child with Houlie Duque
2026/06/30
Most of us remember sitting in school staring out the window, bored to death listening to a subject we didn't like and just weren't good at. And no matter how many times the teacher explained it, it always felt like your brain just didn't fit the way school expected you to learn. What if there was never anything wrong with you? What if the problem was that we expect every child to learn the same way? Here's the proof: according to a study done by Harvard University, 80 to 90% of pre-schoolers had genius potential. By the time they end elementary school, that number drops down to 6%! That's a crazy drop! Makes you wonder why school really is the best place for your child to learn... After spending years teaching in some of the world's most respected education systems, Houlie Duque began questioning the same. She's now made it her mission to support parents in homeschooling their children. In this episode, you'll discover why parent involvement matters so much, how personalized learning can bring out a child's natural strengths, and why curiosity may be one of the most important skills for the future. IN THIS EPISODEWelcome Houlie! How she went from teaching in Waldorf, Montessori, and Cambridge classrooms for over a decade to building the world's only fully bilingual, personalized homeschool program. The one thing every bright kid in her classroom had in common - and it wasn't money, smarts, or a fancy school. What Houlie says to every parent who feels totally unqualified to teach their own child. What Harvard found when they tested genius potential in young kids. Why schools were literally designed to create factory workers - and why that's the worst possible preparation for a world run by AI.The real number of hours homeschooling actually takes each week - and it's nothing like what you're imagining. What happens to a kinesthetic learner who gets put in a traditional classroom - and why your "difficult" kid might just be a genius in the wrong environment. The multiple intelligences map Houlie uses to figure out exactly how each child is wired - and why focusing on what they're bad at is totally backwards. The socialization myth: what the research actually says about how homeschooled kids make friends, handle conflict, and connect with others. Why so many of us grew up anxious, quiet, or afraid to just be ourselves - and the thing that happens to almost every kid in school that explains it.How homeschooled kids end up being more social, not less.Houlie's #1 way to start unleashing your freedom today.
