How to Live a Fruitful Life | Sow Daily, Deliberately & Generously | E35
2026/09/29
What you sow today shapes the harvest you experience tomorrow.
In this personal episode of the Flight Club Podcast, we begin a new journey into what it means to live a fruitful life. From parenting and marriage to friendship, calling, generosity, and faith, this conversation is a reminder that the small seeds we plant consistently can grow into a harvest that takes our breath away.
Maybe you feel like it is too late. Maybe you are in a hard season, a waiting season, or a season where it feels like you have little to give. But it is never too late to start sowing into your future.
Drawing wisdom from Ecclesiastes 11, Galatians 6, Proverbs 11, and 2 Corinthians 9, we unpack three intentional ways to sow:
Sow daily — do not wait for the perfect conditionsSow deliberately — plant the seeds that align with the future you are praying forSow generously — give your time, encouragement, kindness, forgiveness, gifts, and resources with an open heartGod can bring fruit from every faithful seed. Do not grow weary in doing good. Keep sowing, even in the hard seasons, because there is a harvest ahead.
If this episode encouraged you, share it with someone who needs a reminder to keep planting, keep believing, and keep showing up with faith.

Willingness Part 2 | E34
2026/09/15
Are you willing to trust God again—even when you feel tired, disappointed, or unsure of what comes next? In this powerful conversation, Charlotte and Steve explore how willingness can become the turning point for breakthrough, healing, purpose, stronger relationships, and renewed faith.
Willingness is more than willpower. It is the decision to keep showing up, keep praying, keep believing, keep forgiving, and keep trusting God when the process feels uncomfortable. Sometimes faith requires us to take a step before we can see the full outcome.
Through biblical stories including Hannah, Caleb, Zacchaeus, the woman with the issue of blood, and the woman who came to Jesus for her daughter’s healing, this episode encourages you to stay willing in every season. Whether you are believing God for a breakthrough in your marriage, family, health, career, finances, ministry, or personal life, God can meet your willingness with His power.
If you feel like you are pushing a boulder uphill, don’t give up. You may be closer to the tipping point than you think. Your willingness to pray, change, wait, learn, serve, forgive, and try again can open the door to what God wants to do next.
In this episode, we talk about:
How willingness unlocks spiritual growth and breakthroughWhy desperation can renew your faithWhat to do when disappointment has drained your willingnessStaying faithful when progress feels slowTrusting God’s timing instead of taking shortcutsWillingness in marriage, parenting, friendships, work, health, and ministryWhy God invites us forward but does not force usHow God’s power meets us when our own strength runs outQuestion for you: Where is God asking you to become willing again? Share in the comments—we would love to pray for you.
If this episode encouraged you, make sure to like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs hope today.
Willingness Part 1 | E33
2026/09/01
What do you do when life gets quieter—but you know God is not finished with you yet?
In Part One of this conversation, we talk about choosing willingness in every season of life. As children grow up, careers change, routines shift, and comfort becomes easier to choose, it can be tempting to settle into what feels familiar. But what if God is still asking us to lean in, keep growing, and stay available for what He wants to do next?
We explore the difference between simply wanting change and being willing to do what change requires. From our health and marriages to our purpose, calling, and legacy, willingness is a posture that says: “God, I may have a plan, but I trust You to direct my steps.”
In this episode, we discuss:
Why we never want our passion for purpose to fade with age or changing seasons
How willingness keeps us fresh, teachable, and ready for what God wants to do
The connection between desperation, obedience, and lasting change
What the stories of Abraham, Naaman, and Caleb teach us about surrendering our will to God
How a willing life can impact and inspire the next generation
If you’ve felt weary, comfortable, stuck, or unsure whether you have the energy to keep believing for more, this conversation is for you. Our prayer is that God would awaken a fresh willingness in your heart—for your marriage, family, future, career, calling, and the dreams He has placed inside of you.
Stay tuned for Part Two, and don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss the rest of the conversation.

Set A Place | E32
2026/08/18
What are you setting a place for? In this episode of Flight Club, Charlotte Gambill shares a powerful encouragement from the story of the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings: sometimes the entrance point to a miracle begins with simply making room.
From hospitality and generosity to friendship, family, community, and faith, this conversation is an invitation to clear away the clutter and intentionally create space for God to move. You may not know exactly what miracle you need—but God does. What if your willingness to set a place becomes the beginning of a conversation, connection, provision, or breakthrough you never saw coming?
Charlotte explores the examples of the Shunammite woman, Martha, Ruth, and even the innkeeper at Jesus’ birth to remind us that miracles are often found not in striving or demanding, but in surrendering, serving, and making room.

Control or Release | E31
2026/08/04
In this episode of Flight Club, Charlotte is talking about the kind of leadership that doesn’t cling too tightly, but knows when to hold things with open hands. True leadership is not about controlling every outcome; it’s about creating room for God to move, making space for others to grow, and having the courage to ask the questions that shift the atmosphere.
Just like Jesus, we should want to be permission-giving leaders who invite people onto the water, even if they might fail. Leaders who are willing to say yes to growth, yes to risk, and yes to the kind of faith that stretches people beyond what feels safe. Because sometimes the most powerful leaders are the ones brave enough to release, ask, and disrupt what’s been too comfortable.

Keeping In Step With The Holy Spirit | E26
2026/05/26
What does it really mean to keep in step with the Holy Spirit—and not just run hard, but run right?
In this episode, we dive into a powerful tension many believers face: urgency vs. accuracy. It’s easy to stay busy, move fast, and feel productive in your faith, but what if God is inviting you into a slower, more intentional pace—one that requires surrender, sensitivity, and obedience?
Drawing from Galatians 5:25, this conversation explores what it looks like to truly walk in sync with the Spirit, allowing Him to lead while we follow with trust. You’ll be challenged to rethink how you approach calling, purpose, and daily decisions, and encouraged to pause long enough to not miss what God is doing right in front of you.
If you’ve been feeling the pressure to “do more” for God, this episode is a reminder that alignment matters more than speed.
In this episode, we cover:

The Wrestle of Insecurity | E24
2026/04/28
Welcome back to the Flight Club podcast! In this special episode, I am thrilled to be joined by my husband Steve — back by popular demand — as we tackle one of the most universal struggles we all face: insecurity. After doing a couple of marriage episodes together, this conversation was born from a deeper question: what is really at the root of so much of what we wrestle with at home, in our marriages, and even what we watch our kids walk through?
In This Episode, We Discuss:
The Root of Insecurity: We unpack why insecurity is so hard to identify and address — and how, like an onion, God takes us layer by layer until we reach the core and discover what it truly means to be rooted in His love.
From Insecurity to Identity: Steve shares his personal journey as a musician chasing applause and approval, and how a revelation from Ephesians 2:10 — that we are God's workmanship — began to shift everything about how he saw himself.
The Treadmill We Don't Know We're On: We talk about how insecurity quietly transfers from one thing to the next — from performance to career, from titles to approval — and what happens when those things get stripped away and the real work begins.
When Insecurity Shows Up in Marriage: We get honest about how insecurity can become the tinted lens through which everything is filtered, making even the most well-meaning conversations land the wrong way — and what it took for us to stop prying open the oyster shell and trust God to do what only He can do.
Doing the Deep Work: Steve opens up about the blind spots, the walls, and the outside counsel and tools that finally helped him break free — and why getting the right help at the right time changes everything.
Key Takeaways:
Insecurity Is the Root, Not the Fruit: The arguments, the competition, the jealousy — these are symptoms. Until we address the source, the triggers will keep coming.Identity Is the Cure: Moving from insecurity to a deep, rooted knowing that God loves us and is for us is the only thing that truly sets us free. You Can't Pry Open an Oyster with the Wrong Knife: Trying to fix someone else's insecurity before they're ready only makes things harder — sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pray and trust God with what you can't control. The Work Is Worth It: When you do the deep work, the difference is night and day — you can be good in the up and good in the down, no longer at the mercy of circumstances or the opinions of others.📍 Learn more at charlottegambill.com

Building Immunity | E23
2026/04/14
What if you could become spiritually immune to fear, offense, and anxiety — not by removing every hard thing from your life, but by building something stronger on the inside? In this episode of the Flight Club Podcast, we dig into the powerful concept of spiritual immunity: what it is, why you need it, and how to build it. Drawing on the parallel between how our physical bodies fight disease and how our souls can fight spiritual attack, this episode unpacks three major "spiritual diseases" the disease of want, the disease of offense, and the disease of irrationality, and the specific immunity you can build against each one. If you've been feeling spiritually depleted, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in cycles of anxiety and comparison, this episode is for you.
Everything Good Requires Consistency | E22
2026/03/31
Consistency isn't always glamorous or exciting, but it's the secret ingredient to building a life that lasts. In this episode of The Flight Club, we dive deep into why showing up every day is the ultimate stabilizer for your marriage, your career, and your spiritual walk.
Using a hilarious (and slightly embarrassing!) story about a "lasagna soup" disaster, Charlotte Gambill illustrates what happens when we forget the "pasta sheets"—the consistent habits—that hold our lives together. If you've ever felt like your life is on shaky ground or that you're losing momentum, this episode is for you.

Bring Your Daughter To Podcast Day | E21
2026/03/17
Welcome back to the Flight Club podcast! In this special episode, I am thrilled to be joined by a very dear guest—my firstborn, Hope, who is now 22 and carving out her own path. Together, we explore the evolving dynamics of parenting as children transition into adulthood and the beautiful friendship that can blossom during this stage.
In This Episode, We Discuss:
The Transition to Adulthood: Hope shares her journey of finding her wings in her 20s, especially amidst our family’s move and the shifts in our relationship as she begins to make her own decisions.
Empowering Independence: We talk about the importance of shifting from a guiding role to one of listening and empowering, allowing adult children to lead their own lives and trust their own judgment.
Building a Foundation of Honesty: Hope and I reflect on the “no secrets” rule we established when she was young and how that foundation of truth-telling has shaped our deep connection today.
Setting the Tone at Home: We dive into the concept of the “home thermostat”—the intentional effort to create a lighthearted, grace-filled, and supportive atmosphere where everyone feels safe to be themselves.
Nurturing a Personal Faith: Hope shares how her own walk with God developed within our family’s culture of faith, but ultimately became a personal journey of discovery and choice.
Key Takeaways:
Parenting is an Evolving Journey: As kids grow, our roles must adapt to meet them where they are, moving from constant guidance to supportive partnership.
Open Communication is Vital: Creating a space where the truth is always welcome, even when it's hard, builds lasting trust and intimacy.
Encourage Individual Passions: Supporting our children’s unique gifts and interests, even when they differ from our own, is essential for their growth and fulfillment.
Grace and Forgiveness: Approaching parenting with an abundance of grace ensures that the door is always open for our children to return home, no matter where life takes them.
