Evolving Style, Evolving Women: Girl Talk with Marissa Roche
2026/02/04
In this episode of The Chisme Corner, I'm joined by my girl Mari (@in.mari.fashion), fashion influencer, entrepreneur, and creative mind, for some real girl talk, laughs, and very honest conversations. We get into how her love for fashion was shaped by 80s fashion, and how personal style isn't fixed, it evolves with the seasons of our lives. Mari also opens up about stepping back into corporate life and the challenges of navigating a male-dominated space as a Latina woman, while simultaneously wrestling with the pressure of being "just an influencer". Of course, we sprinkle in some nostalgia from iconic novelas we grew up watching (and why we low-key miss the dramatic smacking LOL), to joking about how women are expected to always be "on" and productive... especially if that's what you grew up on. No Sick Days, Mija! This episode is funny, reflective, empowering, and very us. If you've ever questioned your identity, your career path, your creativity, or why you're exhausted all the time, PULL UP CHISMOSA! Raids, Rumors, and Reality Checks
2026/01/28
Vee is back after an unexpected sick week and a wild snowstorm that left the streets covered in ice and everyone stuck at home. She shifts into something much heavier: the recent federal immigration raids in the Minneapolis area. She walks you through what’s been happening, including the heartbreaking story of 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos, who was detained with his father, and the tragic shootings of two U.S. citizens by immigration agents. Vee talks openly about the fear, anger, and grief so many are feeling. She also explains why watching violence and family separations play out on our feeds is not normal, and encourages listeners to hold on to empathy and humanity. Then she changes gears into the Desmond and Kristy Scott divorce that’s been all over social media. She unpacks how quickly public opinion flipped from "relationship goals" to "I knew it was fake" and the blurred line between sharing your relationship online and protecting it. She then lightens the mood with some pop culture and recs: a spoiler-light gush about "His And Hers" on Netflix (based on Alice Feeney's book), Hilary Duff's comeback to music after a decade, the rumored Karol G & Feid breakup, y muchooo massss!   Here are some immigrant rights and support organizations for anyone who wants to help through legal support, advocacy, or community aid: Take action with the National Immigration Law Center (NILC) - They have tools for contacting Congress directly to call for no more tax dollars for ICE & CBPImmigrant Defense Project - Works to expand Immigrant Rights & offers Know Your Rights guidance, hotline support, & opportunities to support their advocacy. Immigrant Justice Campaign - Provides Free legal services and connects volunteers, attorneys, and interpreters with immigrants who need legal help. Florence Project - Provides free legal services and social support to immigrants in detention, including children and families who might otherwise be without representation.Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) - Offers legal advocacy and Know Your Rights resources that help people understand and defend their rights when facing ICE encounters.

Different Mountains, Comparison, & The Buttons That Matter
2026/01/14
In this week’s episode, we dive deep into all the real life things starting with how excited I am for Vivi’s cheer showcase. I open up about doing my annual huevo limpia (egg cleanse): what I noticed, my little superstitions, and how it gave me that much-needed nudge to finally put my health first. I get super real about dealing with anxiety, health fears, and making those overdue doctor’s appointments. Sending gentle reminders and tough love to anyone else putting their checkups on the back burner. We talk about the complicated art of friendship realizing even good people can mess up, how we have to give others (and ourselves) some grace, and why it’s so important to let our guard down sometimes. I share your inspirational New Year’s goals, and my own, and we dig into the comparison trap, why everyone’s “mountain” looks different whether you’re crossing oceans, climbing Everest, or just getting through the week, and why your journey matters. New Year, New Chisme: Creating Beyond The Content
2026/01/07
Welcome back, Chismosas! We’re tearing into 2026 like never before. Con pura confianza! This first 2026 episode is packed with all the tea, laughs, and some juicy inspiration for your New Year. We start with a holiday recap, not to mention the epic Broadway trip with the kids (yep, Vivi called it!)  We get into real talk on resolutions: your girl wants to up her healthy eating game and get active (is walking up stairs supposed to be that hard?). I spill my love-hate with meal prepping, and ask YOU for your healthy, grab-and-go tips because reheated chicken? No, gracias. Big announcement alert: This year is all about creativity! I open up about feeling burnt out by the grind of content creation, and how I’m jumping headfirst into a passion project—building my personal brand and a brand new website for the Chisme Corner. No experience? No problem. I’ll bring you behind the scenes on my wins, fails, and everything in between as I reconnect with my creative flow. We wrap with a raw reflection on 2025 (hola emotional growth, adios whatever’s holding us back) and a fire pep talk for 2026. It’s the year of the Fire Horse! Time to leave limits in the past and step forward fiercely, unapologetically, and fully YOU. Join me for another year of growth, healing, cultura, and, por supuesto, plenty of chisme! Let’s make this year big, bold, and full of love!   Write in your "Chisme Confessions" at [email protected] for a chance to be featured on an episode, chismosas! A Chismosas Christmas & Theories That Sleigh!
2025/12/24
It's our very first Christmas episode with our favorite little chismosa, Velisse! We talk about the switch to a new cheer gym and we dive into our fan theories about Stranger Things—who we think is going to save the day, which characters might not make it, and why we’re more excited for Vecna than for Santa this year. Get ready for laughs, plenty of spoilers, and all our wild predictions for the next season! We also get REALLY real about faith, spirituality, and what prayer means to each of us. Vee opens up about growing up in different religious backgrounds, questioning big things, and how it’s okay to find your own connection even if you don’t fit into any box. On top of all that, we swap stories about holiday traditions like opening a present on Christmas Eve, and how we always try to focus more on experiences than “stuff.” And, as always, I want to lift you up with some good vibes migente: I hope you and your families are showered with love, laughter, and relaxation this Christmas whether you’re celebrating with a crowd or keeping it cozy and small. Thank you for tuning in to my shenanigans and supporting the podcast every week. It means the world to me! Stick around for next week’s New Year’s Eve episode, where I’ll share new goals and what I’m looking forward to in the year ahead. Merry Christmas and happy holidays, chismosas!

Loving Yourself Out Loud with Jessica Battle: A Conversation on Body Image & Healing
2025/11/19
This week’s episode is one of the most honest and empowering conversations yet! I’m chatting with my amiga Jessica Battle about all things body image—no filters, no fake positivity, just the truth. We open up about growing up surrounded by toxic diet culture, the pressure to shrink ourselves for the world, and all those heavy emotions so many of us have faced with food, our bodies, and our sense of worth. Jess shares her journey of building trust with herself, and redefining what true wellness and self-love look like beyond the number on a scale. Jess gets super real about divorce, rediscovering who you are, and building a business through it all. Plus, we swap stories about relationships, love languages, and why it’s okay to want that “forever person.” If you’ve ever struggled to love your body, wondered how to set healthy boundaries, or just need a reminder that you are so much more than your appearance this episode is for you! Petty Petals & Scary Mary: The Selling Sunset Showdown
2025/11/12
Whewwww chismosas, where do we even start with this season of "Selling Sunset"? The drama was INSANE! From Chrishell and Nicole going at it (again), with both of them just taking the low blows to a whole new level. Like, can y’all just agree to never speak again and call it a day? Chelsea tried to be nice and send Mary some flowers after she got robbed, and instead of just saying thanks, Mary (with some help from Bri’s energy) turned it into a whole thing. Girl, just take the flowers! Then there was the Galentine’s party, more awkward run-ins, people acting like seeing a name card was the end of the world… ay dios mio que dramatica! Friendships are basically on life support after this—like, Chrishell and Emma can barely even look at each other, and Chelsea is just over everybody’s drama. The reunion? Pure chaos, with everyone yelling, people storming off, and nobody really solving a damn thing. Honestly, this season is all about people being messy, setting way overdue boundaries, and the OG friendships totally falling apart. It was a hot mess, but you know we were living for every minute of it!   Got cheating scandals, a toxic ex or suegra, breakup revenge stories, fake friends exposés, office chisme, embarrassing/funny confessions, plot twist stories?
