*****TOP 5% GLOBAL PODCAST***** Self-Care for Busy Moms: Eating Well, Mediterranean Diet Recipes, Time Management, Stress Management, Strength Exercise Are you struggling to stay consistent to a healthy diet? Do you feel frustrated with the setbacks from poor food choices that affect your body and mood? Is it a challenge to maintain motivation to exercise regularly given your busy schedule? I am so excited you’re here! This podcast will help you find ways to have habits for physical health and fitness, and for mental and spiritual wellbeing so you can have long-term strength and greater peace! Hey, I’m Susan. A friend of Jesus, a wife, and boy mom.  For many years, I struggled with finding time, motivation or the discipline to exercise regularly or have any self-care.  My life was increasingly busy with my kids and their schedules and I lacked consistency and habits that put importance on self-care.  My striving to keep everything going smoothly in my family pushed me to ignore many things…balance, friendships, mental drain, overwhelm, mild depression. I finally realized that in order to have physical health as well as mental well-being and peace, I needed to slow down and tend to myself in order to be there for my family. I focused on physical therapy and strategies to relax and de-stress through self-care. This started a decades-long process of learning to find what works and does not work for me. I created a strategy that works with ME. A step by step process that I could actually stick with. Even when there are times I fall off, this process helps me get back on track faster so that I can stay the course over time for long-term health and strength. And I’m ready to share it with you! If you are ready to finally implement strategies for busy moms so you can have… Physical Health and Fitness, Mental and Spiritual Strength, Discipline and Consistency, Personal Time and Relaxation, - this podcast is for you! Grab your step counter and don't forget your sunscreen!  It's time to walk together! Xo Susan Become an Insider for Self-Care for Busy Moms! You Built the Business for Freedom. So Why Do You Feel Trapped? | 74
2026/07/27
WHAT I ❤:  I am LOVING the collagen from here 👇 Try it out!! https://us.shaklee.com/en_US/suroselfcare Episode Summary: You built your business for freedom. So why does it feel like it's holding you hostage? In this episode, you'll uncover why growth doesn't create new problems, it multiplies what's already leading you. If fear is driving your mindset right now, scaling multiplies fear. If trust and stewardship are driving your mindset, scaling multiplies that instead. You'll walk through what Scripture actually says about freedom and why the aligned habits and routines you build now will shape what your business becomes at every level. What You'll Learn in This Episode: Why "more money, more options, more control" was never the real definition of freedom The difference between ownership and stewardship, and why an aligned mindset produces peace while ownership produces pressure Why scaling multiplies whatever is already leading you, whether that's fear or trust What Jesus actually promises in Matthew 11:28-30, and why it has nothing to do with working less The one question to ask before your next big goal, and how your daily habits already hold the answer Key Takeaways: The opposite of freedom is not limitation. It's bondage. (Galatians 5:1) Fear of man is a snare that keeps leaders overcommitted and out of alignment. (Proverbs 29:25) You are the steward, not the builder. Stewardship, not ownership, is the aligned way to carry a business. (Psalm 127:1) Whatever mindset is leading you now gets multiplied when you scale. Your habits and routines reveal it before your revenue does. Freedom is found in God's presence right now, not at the next revenue number. Surrender Isn't in the Bible: The Leadership Exchange God Designed | 73
2026/07/20
WHAT I ❤:  I am LOVING the collagen from here 👇 Try it out!! https://us.shaklee.com/en_US/suroselfcare In today’s episode, Susan searches the King James Bible for the word "surrender" and comes up empty. What she finds instead reshapes how she thinks about faith, control, and leadership: humility, submission, and denial of self aren't losses. They're upward exchanges. This episode traces that discovery through scripture and shows why it's the actual starting point of aligned leadership, not a nice-to-have that comes after the strategy is figured out. What You'll Learn in This Episode: Why the word "surrender" doesn't appear anywhere in the King James Version or Strong's Concordance The scriptural words that actually describe this posture (and why they mean something different than "giving up") How Jeremiah 38 and the Hebrew word "yasa" reframe what we've been taught about surrender Why every biblical instruction to humble yourself, submit, or deny yourself is immediately followed by an exchange, not a loss How holding onto control in your business is a spiritual issue before it's a strategic one Why you cannot build a seven-figure business on a six-figure identity Key Takeaways: Surrender, as the world defines it, means accepting defeat. Scripture never uses that word. The words scripture actually uses (humble, submit, deny, take up your cross) are always paired with something greater coming back. If you're still the bottleneck in your business, it's rarely a systems problem. It's a control problem wearing a business disguise. Practicing surrender (or more accurately, humility and submission) in small things builds the trust that makes the bigger exchanges easier. Aligned leadership starts with this posture, not with a better calendar or delegation plan. It’s Not About Your Mindset. Abiding in Christ Is the Aligned Strategy Your Business Actually Needs | 72
2026/07/13
WHAT I ❤:  I am LOVING the collagen from here 👇 Try it out!! https://us.shaklee.com/en_US/suroselfcare   What if the thing capping your business growth is not your mindset or your habits, but where your identity is rooted? This episode unpacks John 15:1-8 and the surprising Greek meaning of airo, revealing that God is not cutting off fruitless branches. He is lifting them. Learn how abiding in Christ as your actual source is the aligned foundation that produces lasting fruit in your business and your life. Because stewardship of what God has given you starts with staying connected to the vine.  Running a business means hard conversations come with the territory …difficult clients, underperforming contractors, misaligned partners. But knowing you need to have the conversation and actually having it are two very different things. Why Joy Is a Leadership Function (And What Happens When You Lose It) | 71
2026/07/06
WHAT I ❤:  I am LOVING the collagen from here 👇 Try it out!! https://us.shaklee.com/en_US/suroselfcare Thank you for your support!!!!  Episode Summary: Most leadership conversations skip right over joy, treating it like a nice-to-have rather than what it actually is: a signal that your mindset, habits, and identity are aligned with who God made you to be.  This episode unpacks the deep connection between creativity, joy, and effective leadership for the female founder who has built a working business but lost the aliveness she started with.  If your aligned routines have collapsed into pure management mode and your stewardship of your gifts has quietly slipped, this episode names exactly what happened and why it matters more than any strategy you could implement right now.  This is not a motivational episode.  It is a direct conversation about why the most capable women in the room are often the most disconnected from the very gifts that are meant to fuel how they lead, and what Proverbs 16:3 has to say about the mindset shaping your business right now. What You'll Learn in This Episode: Why God's first introduction of Himself in Scripture is as a creator, and what that means for your creative wiring and daily habits How creativity and joy function as leadership forces, not personality traits or mindset extras Why whole-brain thinking enhances both creativity and decision-making in your business How aligned routines create the conditions for your leadership gifts to actually show up How the discomfort of growing in your gifts is the very path where God's presence shows up most clearly Why stewardship of your gifts is a serious biblical responsibility, not an optional aspiration What Proverbs 16:3 actually says about your mindset and why that changes how you lead your business How creativity connects directly to identity-first leadership and what it means for the woman scaling her business right now Key Takeaways: Joy is not a reward for productivity. It is the signal that your mindset and habits are operating from alignment. Creativity is a gift from God rooted in the truth that you are made in His image. It is meant to be developed through intentional habits and used consistently. When aligned routines collapse and you stop creating and start only managing, your leadership capacity shrinks with it. Proverbs 16:3 says commit your works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established. Your mindset shapes your words, and your words shape the environment you build around you. Growing in your gifts requires pushing through fear and discomfort, and that is exactly where God meets you. Stewardship of your talents is a matter of faithfulness, not ambition. You will be held accountable for what you did with what He gave you. An aligned founder leads from joy and creative conviction, not from depletion and obligation. Priorities that flow from identity rather than urgency produce a different kind of leadership entirely.
