Description
Twenty Something is a raw, honest community for people in their twenties (or anyone who still feels like they are). Here we overshare, laugh at our own chaos, and unpack what’s called the ‘defining decade’—all in an effort to set ourselves up for the future and build the lives we actually want. With a mix of real talk, expert advice, and dinner-chat energy, it’s for the dreamers, the overthinkers, the ones still paying off student loans while Googling ‘how to be an adult,’ and anyone who secretly wonders if they’ll ever make it to the dream life they’ve always imagined. Basically, it’s your group chat—but with a little more wisdom and a lot more honesty. Thanks for being here!

You Don’t Have to Lose Yourself to Become a Mom with Kylee Noorlander
2026/09/30
Can I be a good mom and still miss my old life? Can I love my kids more than anything and still want time alone? Can I be ambitious, love my career, and not feel guilty for wanting something outside of motherhood?
These are the hard questions so many moms ask themselves — and the ones we don’t always say out loud.
In this episode, Olivia sits down with Kylee Noorlander, founder of Come Home Collective, to talk about what it actually looks like to become a mom without losing yourself in the process.
Kylee became a mom at 21, and she opens up about loving motherhood while also grieving parts of the life she thought she would have in her twenties. Together, they talk about the guilt of wanting more, the pressure to be everything to everyone, the identity shift that comes with motherhood, and why taking care of yourself is about so much more than “self-care.”
They also get into career and motherhood, comparison, nervous system regulation, learning to trust yourself, letting go of the life you thought you were supposed to have, and figuring out what you actually want your life to look like.
Because maybe the question isn’t whether you can do motherhood perfectly. Maybe it’s: How do you build a life where you can deeply love your kids and still recognize yourself inside of it?
Kylee recently launched the Come Home Method, a program designed to help women do exactly what this episode is all about: get more connected to who they are, what they need, and how they want to live.

LGBTQ+, Faith, and the LDS Church: The Conversation We Need to Have with Richard Ostler
2026/09/23
In this episode, Olivia sits down with Richard Ostler, host of the Listen, Learn & Love podcast, to have an honest conversation about LGBTQ+, faith, and the LDS Church. Richard is the author of Listen, Learn & Love: Embracing LGBTQ Latter-day Saints and has spent years listening to and sharing the stories of queer Latter-day Saints through his podcast, which now has more than 900 episodes and 8 million downloads.
Richard shares how serving as a YSA bishop changed the way he understood and supported queer Latter-day Saints, and why listening to people’s lived experiences became such an important part of his own faith journey. Together, Olivia and Richard talk about shame, belonging, personal revelation, same-sex marriage, church participation, suicide prevention, allyship, and what it really looks like to become a safe person for the people around you.
They also get into the questions that don’t always have easy answers: What do you do when someone you love feels like their identity and their religion are asking them to choose between two parts of themselves? How do we support people without trying to decide their path for them? What can we do to make our homes, churches, and communities safer places for queer people? And with rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation so high, what does meaningful support actually look like?
This conversation isn’t about having every answer, but it is about listening better, loving people more deeply, and making room for honest questions, complicated experiences, and real faith.

How to Stay Informed About News and Politics Without Losing Your Mind with Spencer Joseph, 10x Emmy-Winning Journalist
2026/09/09
Politics and the news can feel impossible to keep up with. There’s always another headline, TikTok, breaking story, opinion, or person telling you what you should believe; and sometimes trying to stay informed just leaves you feeling even more overwhelmed. So what do we do? A lot of us get overloaded and stop paying attention altogether.
In this episode, Olivia sits down with 10x Emmy-winning journalist Spencer Joseph to talk about how to actually stay informed without letting the news, and all the emotions that come with it, consume you.
Olivia and Spencer also talk about how algorithms shape what we see, why your social media feed can make one perspective feel like the only perspective, how to spot bias and lies, how to hear people you disagree with without abandoning your own beliefs, and why it’s okay to say, “I don’t know enough about that to have an opinion yet.”
Spencer shares what he’s learned from years working inside the news industry, including how stories get reported, why breaking news rarely gives you the full picture, how to recognize more trustworthy sources, and why going back to original documents, videos, and reporting can completely change the way you understand a story.
If politics stresses you out, you’ve stopped following the news altogether, or you just want to become a more thoughtful and informed person, this episode gives you practical ways to understand what’s happening in the world without letting it take over your life.

He Thought His Wife Had Died: What You Learn When You’re About to Lose Everything with Tyler Hall
2026/09/02
Tyler Hall was in New York City preparing for one of the biggest moments of his career when he got a call that changed the course of his life: his wife, Brooklyn, was being rushed to the hospital.
What followed was a flight home believing he may have already lost the person he had known and loved nearly his entire life.
In this episode, Olivia and Tyler talk about the experience that divided his life into “before” and “after”, and what nearly losing his wife taught him about success, family, faith, presence, and what actually matters.
Tyler also opens up about healing after trauma, learning to surrender what he couldn’t control, the power of talking about the things we’d rather avoid, and why he created The Rollercoaster Podcast, the #1 trauma podcast in the world, to help people feel less alone in the hardest moments of their lives.

Stop Living in Fear: Trusting God’s Plan with Chase Roberts
2026/08/27
NFL wide receiver and former BYU standout Chase Roberts joins Olivia to talk about what it looks like to choose faith when you have absolutely no idea what comes next.
After injuries disrupted his NFL Combine preparation, Chase was advised not to run the 40-yard dash. He chose to run anyway, and finished with the slowest time of the receivers who participated. But for Chase, that moment became about something bigger than a number: deciding whether he was going to live his life in fear or move forward in faith. And wouldn't you know it? Chase is now playing for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Chase and Olivia talk about trusting God when His plan looks different than yours, finding peace in uncertainty, feeling behind in your 20s, unanswered prayers, breakups, identity beyond achievement, and why some of the hardest seasons of our lives may be the ones shaping us the most.
Chase also shares what it’s been like going from BYU to the NFL, stepping into an uncertain future with the Las Vegas Raiders, and using his platform to point people back to God.
If you’re in a season where you can’t see how everything is going to work out, this episode is a reminder that you don’t have to know the ending to move forward with faith. Uncertainty can be your greatest asset.

Grief Doesn’t Mean You Can’t Have a Beautiful Life with Krista Jones
2026/08/19
Life doesn't always go the way we thought it would. Sometimes it's losing someone we love. Sometimes it's heartbreak, a friendship ending, a diagnosis, a career change, or simply realizing the life we pictured for ourselves isn't the life we're living.
Krista Jones learned that lesson earlier than most. She lost her dad to cancer when she was just seven years old, was raised in large part by her grandparents before eventually losing both of them, and at 19 watched her mom battle breast cancer.
But this episode isn't only about grief. It's about what happens after life changes you.
Olivia and Krista talk about how to keep moving forward when something happens that you never would have chosen, why hard experiences can make us desperate for control, how to stop living in fear of the next bad thing happening, and what it looks like to let joy back into your life without pretending the hard things didn't happen.
They also talk about relationships, anxiety, therapy, faith, and trusting God when life feels unfair.
Because grief isn't limited to death. We grieve people, relationships, dreams, seasons, expectations, and versions of our lives we thought we'd have. And maybe moving forward isn't about getting back to who you were before.
Maybe it's learning that you can carry what happened to you and still build a really beautiful life.

2026/08/06
There are some experiences that force you to grow up long before you should have to.
In this episode, Olivia sits down with Adi Tanner to talk about growing up with a mother struggling with addiction, losing contact with her for ten years, and the emotional journey of reconnecting after a decade apart.

What Counterfeit Emotions Are and How They're Secretly Controlling Your Life with Curtis Morley
2026/07/30
Do you ever feel like you're reacting in ways you don't fully understand? Like you keep falling into the same emotional patterns, making the same decisions, or feeling stuck but you can't figure out why?
In this episode, Olivia sits down with entrepreneur, speaker, and Counterfeit Emotions expert Curtis Morley to explore one of the most life-changing concepts we've ever discussed on Twenty Something: counterfeit emotions.
Curtis explains that many of the emotions we experience every day aren't actually telling us the truth. Instead, they're counterfeit emotions that look and feel real but quietly keep us trapped in unhealthy patterns. Together, Olivia and Curtis unpack powerful counterfeit emotion pairs, including:
Misery vs. PainShame vs. GuiltAnger vs. AdvocacyFear vs. FaithResignation vs. SurrenderNice vs. Kind
These emotion pairs reveal how our emotions shape our relationships, influence our healing, and impact the way we see ourselves.
They also discuss why peace is the only emotion that cannot be counterfeited, and how learning to recognize these emotional patterns can completely change the way you navigate anxiety, conflict, and personal growth.
If you've ever wondered why you keep repeating the same emotional cycles or wished you understood yourself on a deeper level, this episode will give you a framework you'll never be able to unlearn.

2026/07/22
PSA to every woman: This episode will CHANGE the way you understand your body. It did for me.
Have you ever felt emotional, exhausted, anxious, unmotivated, or completely unlike yourself and wondered what on earth is going on inside your body?
Or maybe you’ve blamed something you couldn’t explain on a sentence like, “Hm. Must be my hormones,” while having no idea what that actually means.
In this episode, Olivia sits down with hormone health coach Kiera Davis to make hormones feel understandable instead of overwhelming. They break down the four phases of the menstrual cycle and explain how each one can affect your mood, energy, workouts, productivity, dating, and relationships.Kiera also shares how her own experience with endometriosis, painful symptoms, and birth control led her to begin studying the female body and learning how to work with her hormones instead of constantly fighting against them.
Olivia and Kiera discuss why consistency does not have to mean showing up exactly the same way every day, how to better communicate what your body needs, and why understanding your cycle can help you feel more empowered, connected, and confident in yourself.
Your body is not working against you. It is communicating with you. Learning how to listen will become one of your greatest superpowers.

Strong Over Skinny: Building a Body That Supports the Life You Want with Lacey Bruschke
2026/07/08
For years, women have been told that smaller is better. Smaller waist, smaller jeans, smaller number on the scale. But what if the goal was never to become the smallest version of yourself? What if the goal was to become strong enough to actually live the life you want?
In this episode, Olivia and Lacey Bruschke talk about what it really means to build strength physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Lacey is a Registered Nurse, NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, founder of Obsidian® Fitness in Millcreek, Utah, and creator of the Obsidian® Slide Board.
With 20 years of experience teaching group fitness and 15 years as a certified personal trainer, Lacey has helped women build strength in a way that is challenging, sustainable, and supportive of their bodies. She created the Obsidian® Slide Board after recognizing the need for a workout that was low impact, high intensity, and accessible for everyone from beginners to skilled athletes.
This conversation is not about getting a six-pack, fitting into a certain size, or believing that skinny is wrong. It is about learning how to build a body that supports your life, your energy, your confidence, your nervous system, and your long-term happiness.
Olivia and Lacey talk about why strength matters more than the scale, how to approach food and fitness without becoming overwhelmed, what women often misunderstand about lifting weights, how exercise can help regulate your nervous system, and why sustainable health has to be built around what actually works for you.
They also discuss meal prep, macros, GLP-1s, hydration, sleep, body image, the pressure women feel to be both tiny and toned, and how to start caring for your body from a place of love instead of punishment.
If you have ever felt stuck in the cycle of trying to look better instead of feel better, this episode is for you.
