1000 Lb Sisters S9:E8 - Pick a Side, Amy!
2026/10/21
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E8 "Amy in the Sky with Diamonds" Tammy is burning bridges, Amy is riding the fence so hard she should charge for it and somehow we're supposed to believe it's everyone else's problem. As the older siblings are confused and hurt about being disinvited from Nashville, Amy continues her favorite performance; pretending to be neutral while making sure Tammy doesn't get mad at her. We've got light wedding planning with AI art, pot-stirring galore and Amy finally gets a meeting with a record label while Tammy does her favorite pass time- sitting outside in the car
Gypsy Rose Life After Lock-Up S2:E2 - Pregnant on Parole
2026/10/20
Gypsy Rose is pregnant, Ken is moving to Louisiana, and apparently nobody involved has ever heard of taking things slow. This week, we’re talking surprise pregnancies, premature marriage talk, family disappointment, and a whole lot of social media scrolling. Plus, a date night featuring unsolicited octopus, forced food challenges, public shaming, and one very teary bathroom break. Meanwhile, Ryan is trying to move on, but the neon sign of their former love life is still leaving its mark. Literally.
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E7 - Brittany O's, Nobody Goes
2026/10/14
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E7 "(Don't) Lean on Me Amy's big break might be the opportunity of a life time, but comes with a side of sibling warfare. Tammy's wedding hits a snag, Chris and Brittany get a little too relaxed during a couples' massage and Amy's delusions continue with her "approval" for skin removal surgery.
Gypsy Rose Life After Lock-Up S2:E1 - The Unseen Footage
2026/10/13
We came for the unseen footage and left with absolutely no organizational structure, and a whole lot to unpack. This week, we're diving into Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up Season 2, Episode 1, where the footage is unseen, the chaos is very much seen, and our notes are apparently on an extended vacation. This is also our first episode since the heartbreaking news of Ken Urker’s passing. We take a moment to share our thoughts with his loved ones before doing what we do best: getting distracted, going off the rails, and talking about everything except what we probably intended to talk about.
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E6 - Driving Miss Tammy
2026/10/07
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E6 "Not So Fast Car" We kick things off with some completely necessary parkour before Amy and Tammy attempt to enter the world of responsible driving—which immediately feels like a terrible idea. Chris and Brittany get some exciting news, Chris gets a makeover nobody asked for, and Tammy continues nurturing her grudge against Misty like it’s a prize-winning houseplant. Throw in some relationship drama, questionable logic, and a trip to the DMV.
RIP Ken
2026/10/02
We are taking a second to talk about the sudden passing of Ken Urker. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E5 - Tammy's Big Break
2026/09/30
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E5 "Amy Was Afraid, She Was Petrified Amy enters the recording studio to fulfill her mumble-rap dreams, immediately cries and learns that "solo" apparently means "Tammy stands six inches away from you." Meanwhile, Andrea attempts the radical concept of spending time with her friends while Tammy yet again waits in the car, prompting a couples therapy intervention. Plus, Chris and Brittney talk babies, Tammy talks feelings, and everyone discovers that asking for alone time is basically relationship warfare.
Gypsy Rose Life After Lock-Up S1:E8 - Starting over Again
2026/09/29
This week, we attempt to survive the mental gymnastics of Gypsy leaving Ryan because she loves him too much to stay, needs to find herself alone, and is somehow also sleeping with her ex. Make it make sense. Plus, Rod discovers that apparently he’s the reason Gypsy married Ryan in the first place, because accountability is simply not on the menu. And, of course, our Queen Mia arrives to remind us that everyone absolutely sucks.
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E4 - Attack of the Killer Penguins
2026/09/24
This week on the podcast, Autumn is away at Disney World, and Kyle joins Summer for his first foray into the chaotic world of the Slaton family for a masterclass in pots calling kettles black. We dive into the practical absurdity of the double date, Amy's sheer refusal to shut up about ChatGPT's magnum opus, and Amanda's wildly concocted trust-building exercises. We explore the shifting dynamics of a peaceful kayaking trip away from the Toxic Twins, and the comedic brilliance of a woman's cliffhanger panic attack from last episode being resolved by just pooping.
Gypsy Rose Life After Lock Up S1:E7 - Are You Happy?
2026/09/22
Ryan sends one text and suddenly this marriage is hanging on by a thread. Gypsy questions whether she’s actually happy, Ryan responds by asking her to remarry him, and then she admits she might be happier somewhere else. Ryan cries about having to “pick up” his heart every time Gypsy does this, while Gypsy cries in the car. So basically, date night is going great. Four days later, Gypsy is packing her stuff and sneaking around with Kristy before Ryan gets home. Because apparently the next step in marital bliss is a covert apartment extraction.
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E3 - How Did It Get Burned!?
2026/09/17
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E3 "It's My Music Video and I'll Cry If I Want To Tammy and Andrea take their first steps toward wedding planning, while Amy takes her first steps toward a full-blown family meltdown. After her goals get "burned" on New Year's Eve, Amy prepares to confront her siblings, debut her music video dreams, and cry her way through approximately 47 different interruptions. Meanwhile, Tammy gleefully fans the flames, encouraging Amy to confront the older siblings while making sure everyone knows exactly what everyone else said. Chris gains 40 pounds of "mostly muscle," the family goes rock climbing, and Amy discovers that perhaps not everyone is ready to become backup dancers. Just another peaceful day in Slatonville.
Gypsy Rose Life After Lock Up S1:E6 - I Don't Want To Be Me
2026/09/15
Gypsy Rose is changing everything about herself except, apparently, the parts that make her life a perpetual disaster. New nose, blonde hair, new teeth—and somehow still waking Ryan up at 2 AM to tell him she misses Ken. Speaking of Ken, he's back to explain why he walked away from Gypsy, and his reasoning is about as convincing as a reality TV apology: apparently, everyone around him decided their relationship was bad for her self-development, so he heroically sacrificed their love. Sure, Jan. He definitely didn't just get cold feet when the woman he was waiting for actually got out. Meanwhile, Ryan continues fighting for a marriage that seems to have been assembled entirely out of red flags and unresolved feelings. Rod attempts to bond with his daughter without Kristy narrating over every word, Gypsy learns to ride a bike (with predictable results), and the family debates whether social media is ruining her mental health while actively filming all of it for television.
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E2 - Tammy's Guide to Making Everything About Tammy
2026/09/10
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E2 "Do You Want to Build A….Music Video?" Tammy gets engaged and expects the family to throw a damn parade, only to discover that nobody has apparently read the “appropriate reaction to Tammy’s engagement” handbook. Then she meets Andrea’s friends and spends the entire night interrupting conversations, demanding attention, hijacking stories, correcting Andrea, announcing that her mom loves Andrea, asking if everyone needs drinks, dramatically putting her head on the table, and generally behaving like the world’s most exhausting third wheel. Andrea finally admits that Tammy’s behavior is embarrassing—and honestly, girl, we noticed. Meanwhile, Amy gets approved for skin removal, gets the green light for a music video, and immediately discovers that her siblings have absolutely no interest in celebrating anything she says. Merry Christmas, everybody!
Gypsy Rose Life After Lock Up S1:E5 - You Told the World
2026/09/08
Gypsy might be pregnant, Ryan is spiraling over Ken, Kristy is keeping the Ken door suspiciously cracked, and everyone thinks a puppy will somehow fix this dumpster fire of a marriage. Then Gypsy tells Mia about their sex life, Ryan discovers it was filmed, and suddenly “You told your sister” becomes “YOU TOLD THE WORLD.” Meanwhile, Mia teaches Gypsy about the morning-after pill, Rod tries to keep everyone from making things worse, and Pixie becomes the newest—and arguably most stable—member of the family. Oh, and Ken is back on camera to announce that he absolutely does not support the marriage. Because apparently we weren't messy enough yet.
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E1 - Congratulations on Your Mistake
2026/09/03
1000 Lb Sisters S9:E1 "Play That Funky Music, AI" Amy has lost weight, gained confidence, and apparently decided that makes her a gothic-country-rap icon. Unfortunately, the confidence came with approximately 400% more annoying. While she terrorizes the family with AI-generated “music,” Tammy and Amy attempt to repair their relationship, Chris tries to get Tammy moving, and Andrea tries desperately to maintain a life outside of her girlfriend. Then, in what can only be described as a catastrophic lapse in judgment, Andrea proposes. Girl. RUN.
