This case brought to the surface many serious questions - not only as to the police actions and decision making of the District Attorney's Office, but also the much less talked about aspect - harassment of civilian witnesses in criminal prosecutions. Through years of struggle, Brian found relief first in telling a close family friend, and much later, through the prosecution of his abuser, who eventually plead guilty.
