Description

Do you want to feel like yourself again, but have no idea where to start? Is making time to prioritize yourself a struggle? Are you tired of feeling like exercise is just another to-do on your list? Want to feel strong and confident in the body God gave you? I’m so glad you’re here! This podcast will help you create simple, consistent habits that lighten the mental load of figuring out what will actually make a difference when it comes to your health—all so you can feel better, have more energy, and become the role model your kids truly need. Hey! I’m Michelle. A toddler mom, wife and dedicated Jesus follower. For 15 years I struggled to find and stick to health routines that were truly effective and had a positive impact on my life. Despite being a leader in the fitness industry, I often approached health with an unsustainable mindset. I was either starving myself or mindlessly overeating; going to the gym for hours at a time or going days without walking further than the fridge. The result was staying in a body that was weighing me down and preventing me from becoming all God had created me to be. I finally realized that if I wanted to feel my best, show up fully for my family and live the life God has called me to, I would need to move beyond extremes and towards stewardship. I needed to build sustainable habits that would help me care for the body God gave me. With years of nutrition and fitness knowledge under my belt, I was able to create a plan that helps me prioritize healthy habits in the midst of a busy schedule. This approach gives me the confidence that I am stewarding my body well, so that I have the energy to be the mother God has created me to be. This is what I want to share with you today! If you are ready to make sustainable changes to your health habits  that fit in with busy seasons of motherhood… To approach wellness as an act of worship- To feel more energized, enjoy exercise again, and step into the healthiest version of yourself,  this podcast is for you! Get ready to move your body and renew your mind—it’s time to glorify God with your health!

47 | Need Motivation? The #1 Hidden Benefit Of Building Muscle For SAHM's
2026/10/13
Do you wish you had the desire to workout more consistently?    What would it be like to have a spiritual motivation to move yourself towards building strength?   What if instead of feeling like we are building muscle to get strong, we actually think about it as a place where we can be weak? Vulnerable? Because we all want the end result, but rarely do we want the process.    On today's episode we are talking about the hidden (spiritual) benefit of building muscle, and how intentionally putting ourselves into a weakened state can help us to surrender more to Him. Because ultimately, health habits isn't just about what we can get. It's about who we can become for Him. For His Kingdom.    I pray this blesses you [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider
46 | The #1 Lie Busy Moms Believe About Their Consistency In Fitness
2026/10/08
Do you want to workout but just feel like there isn't enough time in the day?     Between drop-offs, appointments, cooking meals, cleaning and the many other obligations of a busy mom, it can be easy to put a workout at the bottom of our to-do list.     Many times, when it comes time to workout at the end of a crazy day, we just don't feel like it. And then we believe that we are inconsistent, constantly falling off the wagon.     But I'm willing to guess, as a mother, you are not inconsistent. Actually, you are deeply consistent with many things. The difference between your chores and your workout, is that your chores come first and you come last.     When all you are giving yourself is your leftovers, it would be difficult to show up consistently. So on today's episode, I invite you into a priority shift, where actually, biblically, Jesus models retreat. Not after the ministry, but before. As the foundation for it. Yes this is appealing to the spiritual disciplines, but physical disciplines can absolutely live in the same category.     My encouragement to you is to prioritize yourself today in some way. Not because you matter more, but because when you take care of yourself, everyone else benefits.     I pray this blesses you      Connect with me to get more biblical encouragement for workout routines, time management and meal prep ideas for stay-at-home-moms: Contact -> [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider
45 | Inconsistent Workouts? 3 Ways To Shift Into Consistency Today
2026/09/29
Are you sick of starting a new workout routine, only to fall off the wagon a few days in?   Want to feel your best but can't stay consistent with the habits that get you there?   What if you were able to stick to your routine and get stronger without more force and willpower?   As busy moms, working out and making time for healthy habits can feel like yet another burden on our to-do list. But exercise is stewardship, and the fruit of consistency is feeling better in your body, and patience, presence and peace as a result of such. On today's episode we are talking about how you can shift into consistency in your workouts without pushing and doing more. Because progress isn't about doing it perfectly. It's about doing it consistently.    I pray this blesses you [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider

43 | How Health Habits Build Capacity - Biblical Encouragement For SAHMs
2026/09/15
Do you feel like focusing on your health is a burden that you don't have time to consider?   Have you ever felt  guilty about what your health habits look like, and wondered if you should be doing more?    Is there something in your life that is impeding on your capacity to serve your family well?    In this episode, we are talking about pruning our habits, our schedules and our lives, so that we can bear more fruit for the kingdom. You don't need to do hour long workouts, or eat a perfect diet to increase your capacity. Primarily, you need to let go of expectations, unnecessary to-dos and anything else that is preventing you from being consistent with the actions that will help you to do more for everyone around you.    I pray this episode blesses you [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider
42 | 3 Signs You Need Biblical Rest (& How To Actually Do It!)
2026/09/08
Are you exhausted, but still feel guilty when you sit down?   Do you feel like if you stop doing everything, everything will fall apart?   When was the last time you actually rested, like, truly?   As Christian moms we can fall into the trap of believing if we are constantly busy, that means we are being productive, responsible, or even faithful.   But God did not create us for constant striving...   In this episode we are talking about 3 signs you need biblical rest, and what that actually means for busy mom life.   My prayer is that you hear that biblical rest is about surrender, no matter what we are doing, and carving out the time to seek the one who holds it all together.    Scriptures mentioned:  Matthew 11:28-30 Mark 6:31 Psalm 127:2   I pray this episode blesses you [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider
41 | The #1 Biblical Principle To Simplify Your Health Habits
2026/09/01
Do you have big goals for your health, only to get overwhelmed by everything that "needs to change"?   Ever wonder what sowing good habits can look like in your day to day mom-life?   Are you ready to finally make progress in your health without guilt?   In today's episode we are talking about the biblical principle of sowing and reaping and how it can apply to your health habits. Instead of overhauling your health all at once, we talk about how habits can come down to one tiny decision in the moment. Instead of a destination, health becomes a mindset. And as you sow those seeds, in time you will reap a harvest. Let's dive in!   I pray this blesses you [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider
40 | Don't Feel Like Working Out? Biblical Encouragement For When You Lose Motivation
2026/08/25
Have you finally had the time to workout, only to "not feel like it" and so you just... don't?   Do you seen the internal drive you see other fit mamas have and think to yourself... "what is their secret?"   What would your life be like if you could finally keep the promises you make yourself?   As Christian moms, we can easily wait for motivation to come before we exercise, eat well, get outside, or take care of ourselves. But scripture gives us a different framework: Faithfulness doesn't depend on how we feel.    In this episode we will talk about a biblical approach to staying consistent in your routine, and how keeping the promise to workout regularly to yourself grows you in godliness.   I pray this episode blesses you [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider
39 | Stop Relying On Motivation - 3 Ways To Automate Your Workout Routine
2026/08/18
Do you keep waiting until you feel motivated to workout?   Does it feel like you're wasting precious mental energy deciding when, how, and whether you're going to exercise?   What if there was a way to automate your workout routine so you could stop thinking about exercise so much, and actually do it?   On this episode, I am talking about why motivation is unreliable if you want to make working out a regular part of your life. We will discuss how habits reduce decision fatigue and can actually free up valuable mental real estate.    You will learn: How to give your workouts a permanent place on your calendar Why default workouts make consistency easier  How to use habit stacking to make exercise more automatic   The goal is to build healthy habits that work for you, rather than ones that fight against the natural rhythm of your life. When this is achieved, you can stop spending so much mental energy convincing yourself to [insert healthy habit here]- and start freeing that energy for your family, your responsibilities, your relationships, and the work God has given you.    Connect with me to get more biblical encouragement for workout routines, time management and meal prep ideas for stay-at-home-moms: Contact -> [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider
38 | Is This Health Advice Actually Helpful? 5 Questions Every Mom Should Ask
2026/08/11
Have you ever started a new health habit because someone online convinced you it was the missing piece, only to feel more overwhelmed than before?    Are you tired of feeling confused by conflicting health advice and wondering who or what you can trust?   What if the goal of your health journey isn't perfection, but learning to pursue wisdom, freedom, and faithful stewardship?   In today's world, health advice is everywhere. It could be a new diet, supplement, workout program or a laundry list of food to avoid.    For awhile, it can feel exciting to start something new; the promise of a fresh start is enticing to anyone. Maybe, just maybe, this is the thing that will finally get you to your goal, or help you to feel your best.    Somewhere along the line, motivation wains, and you wonder: "is this really necessary?"   As Christian women, we are called to pursue wisdom, not simply follow every trend that comes our way.    So in this episode, we are discussing 5 questions you can ask to discern whether health advice is actually helpful, or whether it is creating more pressure, fear and confusion.    I pray this blesses you [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider

Is strength training really worth the effort if you are already burnt out and exhausted?   What if getting stronger wasn't about changing your body, but actually becoming more equipped for the life God has called you to live?   On today's episode we are discussing why strength training is one of the most powerful habits a mom can build, and NOT because of how it changes your body. Strength training supports your physical health, mental well-being and ability to serve your family with energy and strength.    I pray this blesses you [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider

33 | Why Outcome-Based Workout Routines Kill Motivation (& What To Do Instead!)
2026/07/07
Have you ever told yourself, “This time I’m really going to stick to it”… only to find yourself quitting a few days or weeks later?   Does it feel like your effort doesn’t count if the scale isn’t moving?   Do you wonder if your health journey has become more about controlling your body than stewarding the life God gave you?   When health becomes inward-focused, it can pull us into obsession, shame, and self-preoccupation... which highlights the deeper issue:   Outcome-based routines can create a self-focused cycle that keeps us stuck.   Instead of using health as a tool to better love and serve others, we can end up consumed by how we’re doing, how we look, or whether we’re making progress.   But the Kingdom of God offers a different way, which is what this episode will offer you today.   Weight loss is not inherently bad. Goals are not always sinful. However, when they become the primary focus, they can distract us from the deeper transformation God is inviting us into. And that's where we land today... how you can seek God for the next faithful step.    I pray this blesses you [email protected] Join the Facebook Group -> Biblical Fitness and Nutrition For Christian Moms Weekly Newsletter -> Become a Health Habits for Christian Moms Insider
