Does God actually delight in you? Not tolerate you. Not put up with you. Not love you from a distance while quietly keeping a record of your failures. Delight in you. Most believers have never settled that question — and it shows up every time they pray. Rick Osborne says we walk into prayer bracing for an argument, as though we have to arm-wrestle God into answering one small request. That posture doesn't come from Scripture. It comes from not knowing who the Father actually is. In this episode, Rick dismantles one of the most damaging lies believers carry — that the Father falls in and out of love with us. Not "God, help me even though I've blown it again," but "God, rescue me because You delight in me." NOT BECAUSE OF YOUR ABILITIES — Psalm 147 says His delight is not in the strength of the horse or the legs of a man. Rick names the prayer most of us have actually prayed: I've been to church five times this month, I've been tithing, everything's good, so I have a request. That is not the basis of His delight. It never was. I WILL NOT BE MOVED — In Isaiah 54 Rick lets the Father speak directly: I've been looking forward to having you as My son or daughter for thousands of years, and I won't be moved. I won't stop loving you. I won't stop caring for you. I will never be angry with you. I will never hide from you.
