Special: SCC Savor Missionary Interview
2026/01/25
In this episode, Pastor Jeramie hosts a special episode, interviewing a missionary that Sanibel Community Church gets to support to bring the gospel to all nations. The fifth current of SCC is Send Workers: This is the current of Missions. It describes our movement toward non-Christians who are far from us in the form of sending workers. The Great Commission commands us to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Such a global mission requires workers to go since no Christian or church could make disciples of all nations by staying put. Listen to this episode to hear how the God is using Sanibel Community Church and this missionaries efforts to fulfill the great commission! 📧 Email us at [email protected] with any of your questions, comments, or encouragements! We’ll take time to answer them in future podcast episodes and special Q&A conversations.

2: SCC Savor - Month 1, Days 1-7
2026/01/15
Month 1, Days 1 through 7 of the Navigators Bible Reading Plan OT:Genesis 1-20Psalms 1-7NT:Matthew 1:1 - 4:11Acts 1:1 - 4:37 Allen and Jeramie explore the foundational themes of Scripture, focusing on the promise of redemption through Jesus Christ as seen in the Old and New Testaments. They explore the significance of Genesis, particularly the narrative of creation, the fall, and the covenants made with figures like Abraham. The discussion highlights how these themes are woven throughout the Bible, culminating in the New Testament with the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew, which connects Him to the promises made to Abraham and David. The hosts emphasize the importance of understanding these connections to grasp the overarching narrative of God's plan for humanity. As they transition into the Book of Acts, they discuss how the early church began to fulfill the Great Commission, spreading the gospel to all nations. The conversation underscores the role of the local church as an embassy of God's kingdom, where believers are called to live out their faith and share the good news. Jeramie and Allen encourage listeners to engage with Scripture actively, recognizing the continuity of God's promises and the unfolding story of redemption that continues today. 📧 Email us at [email protected] with any of your questions!
