Episode 38:| Your Nervous System Is a Wealth-Building Asset
2026/10/20
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 38 | Your Nervous System Is a Wealth-Building Asset Welcome to Episode 38 of The Less Stress, More Magic Podcast ✨ I’m your host, Erin Wallen, and I’m so glad you’re here. What if one of your most valuable wealth-building assets isn’t your income, your business strategy, or how hard you’re willing to work? What if it’s you — and the nervous system you’re creating it all through? In this episode, we’re expanding the definition of wealth beyond money and exploring how your nervous system influences your ability to access clarity, creativity, discernment, connection, and aligned action — especially under stress. I’m also introducing my REAL Wealth framework: Resources, Energy, Alignment + Legacy, a new way to think about creating success that supports not only what you want to achieve, but the person you are becoming and the life you actually want to experience. In This Episode We’ll talk about: • Why working harder and adding more pressure doesn’t always create better results • The Yerkes-Dodson performance curve and the relationship between stress and performance • How nervous system regulation can help you access the strategy, skills, and knowledge you already have • Why you are the golden goose — not just the producer of the golden eggs • The REAL Wealth framework: Resources, Energy, Alignment + Legacy • How to uncover the deeper “why” underneath your financial and business goals • The difference between the discomfort of growth and the discomfort of abandoning yourself • How to create success that positively ripples into your relationships, work, family, and community Why This Matters Money matters. Success matters. Your goals and desires matter. But real wealth isn’t only about what you accumulate. It’s also about what you have access to, how you feel while you’re building, whether the path reflects your values, and what your success makes possible. So I’ll leave you with the question at the heart of this episode: Does the wealth I’m creating support the person creating it — and the life I’m creating it for? If you’re ready to go deeper into this work and build a nervous system that supports the life, success, and results you want, explore my signature program, Power of Ease: 👉 https://erinwallencoaching.myflodesk.com/powerofeaseprogram And if you’d like a simple nervous system practice you can begin using today, download my free Daily Ease Reset Checklist: 👉 https://erinwallencoaching.myflodesk.com/dailyeasechecklist With so much care, Erin
Episode 37 | The Stress Bucket: Why Everything Suddenly Feels Harder
2026/10/13
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 37 | The Stress Bucket: Why Everything Suddenly Feels Harder Welcome to Episode 37 of The Less Stress, More Magic Podcast ✨ I’m your host, Erin Wallen, and I’m so glad you’re here. This podcast is for capable, caring women who are doing all the “right” things—yet still find themselves feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, or stuck in stress. Have you ever been doing really well—taking care of yourself, staying consistent, feeling productive and in a good rhythm—and then suddenly everything feels harder? You’re more irritable. You’re overthinking. Your routines start slipping. You procrastinate, check out, or wonder why you can’t seem to get yourself “back on track.” Before you decide you need more discipline, more control, or a better strategy, consider this: Your stress bucket might simply be full. In This Episode In this episode, we’re exploring the stress bucket—a simple way to understand stress, overwhelm, nervous system regulation, and your capacity to navigate everything life asks you to hold. Every day, your nervous system is responding to stressors: work, parenting, relationships, finances, poor sleep, overstimulation, illness, uncertainty—and even positive changes. When those stressors exceed your current capacity, your nervous system can shift into a stress response. For some women, that looks like anxiety, urgency, irritability, overthinking, perfectionism, or trying to control everything. For others, it looks like exhaustion, procrastination, numbing out, or wanting to give up completely. Instead of treating these moments as evidence that you’ve failed, what if you learned to recognize them as a signal that your nervous system needs support? We’ll talk about: • What the stress bucket is and how everyday stressors accumulate • How to recognize when stress has exceeded your current capacity • Why even exciting, positive changes can add to your nervous system’s stress load • How overwhelm can show up as anxiety, urgency and overthinking—or exhaustion, procrastination and checking out • Why self-criticism adds even more stress to an already-full bucket • My 3 Ns + 3 Rs framework: Notice, Name, Normalize, Regulate, Reduce + Return Why This Matters Nervous system regulation doesn’t mean creating a life where nothing stressful ever happens. It’s about building the capacity to navigate more of your real life—your work, relationships, dreams, responsibilities and growth—without constantly tipping into overwhelm or shutting down. And this is at the heart of the work I teach inside Power of Ease™. Because creating more ease isn’t about making your life smaller or avoiding stress. It’s about building a nervous system that can support the life you actually want to live. The more you learn to recognize when your capacity is being exceeded, respond with compassion, regulate your system, reduce unnecessary stressors and return toward center, the more resilience and capacity you can build over time. So the next time everything suddenly feels harder, pause before deciding that you’ve failed. You may not need a better plan. You may not need more discipline. You may simply need more support, more recovery, or permission to put something down. 🤍 If you’re ready to go deeper into this work, Power of Ease™ is my signature nervous system program designed to help you move out of chronic stress and survival mode and create more ease, self-trust, capacity and sustainable success. Episode 36 | What Do You Believe You Can’t Have?
2026/10/06
Send us Fan Mail What do you want that a part of you believes you can’t have? More ease and more success. A thriving business and time away from social media. More energy, strength and vitality as you get older. A life that feels spacious and expansive. In Episode 36 of Less Stress, More Magic, released on my birthday, I’m inviting you into one of the questions I’ve been asking myself as I step into another year of life: What do I believe I can’t have? Because sometimes the thing limiting what we create isn’t what’s actually possible—it’s a belief we’ve unconsciously accepted as true. In this episode, I share some of the beliefs I’ve uncovered in my own life, including a quiet belief I once held that maybe I had already reached my “peak,” and how dramatically that has shifted as I’ve learned to believe that I can actually keep getting better with age. We’ll explore: • How subconscious beliefs influence what we notice, choose and create • Why high achievers often believe more success requires more effort • Byron Katie’s four powerful questions for challenging a belief • How to ask, “How could the opposite be more true?” • Why nervous system safety matters when creating a new belief • How scripting and mental rehearsal can help make a new reality feel more familiar • A simple scripting practice you can begin using right away This isn’t about forcing yourself to “think positive” or pretending something feels true when it doesn’t. It’s about becoming curious about the beliefs shaping your life—and creating enough safety to consider: What if I don’t have to keep believing this? And even more importantly… What might become possible if I didn’t? 🎧 Episode 36 | What Do You Believe You Can’t Have? Episode 35 | The Life Audit: Are You Creating What You Actually Want?
2026/09/29
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 35 | The Life Audit: Are You Creating What You Actually Want? Welcome to Episode 35 of the Less Stress, More Magic Podcast ✨ Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do isn’t set another goal or push harder toward the next thing. It’s pause long enough to ask: Am I actually creating the life I want? With my birthday approaching, I’ve been thinking about this season as my own personal New Year—a chance to zoom out, reflect on what’s working, notice what might need a little more love, and intentionally choose where I want my energy to go next. In this short, practical episode, I’m walking you through two simple exercises you can actually do alongside me to audit your life, reconnect with what matters most, and make sure the way you’re pursuing your goals matches how you ultimately want to feel. In This Episode We’ll explore: • A simple Life Wheel exercise to assess eight areas of your life • How to identify the areas that may need more attention and intention • Why the thing you’re chasing may not be what you actually want • How to uncover the feeling or experience underneath your goals • Why the energy you use to create a result matters • A simple alignment exercise to look at your goals, actions, and the energy behind them • How to realign without judgment when you notice you’ve gotten off track Why This Matters We can spend so much time working toward the next goal—more money, more success, the vacation, the accomplishment—without realizing that what we really want is the feeling we believe it will give us. Connection. Freedom. Ease. Joy. Security. Presence. And sometimes, those things are available to us long before we reach the goal. This episode is an invitation to pause, get honest, and ask yourself: Am I keeping the most important thing the most important thing? Grab a piece of paper and do this one with me. 🤍 ✨ Free Resource Support your nervous system with my Daily Ease Reset Checklist—a simple, grounding tool to help you come back to yourself and create more ease in your everyday life. 👉 https://erinwallencoaching.myflodesk.com/dailyeasechecklist Reflection / Journal Prompts • Which area of my life is asking for a little more love and attention right now? • What do I believe my current goal will allow me to feel or experience? • How could I begin experiencing more of that feeling today? Episode 34 | How to Let Go of Control: Nervous System Regulation, Surrender & Self-Trust
2026/09/22
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 34 | How to Let Go of Control: Nervous System Regulation, Surrender & Self-Trust Welcome to Episode 34 of the Less Stress, More Magic Podcast ✨ What if letting go of control doesn’t mean giving up your power—but learning to trust yourself enough to know when to act, when to say no, and when to surrender? In this episode, we’re exploring the relationship between nervous system regulation, surrender, discernment, abundance, and self-trust—and why it can be so difficult to hear your intuition when your nervous system is operating from stress, urgency, or survival mode. I’m also sharing some of the conversation that came out of our first Abundance Book Club, inspired by The Surrender Experiment by Michael A. Singer, and inviting you into our next gathering. In This Episode We’ll talk about: • Why surrender doesn’t mean simply saying yes to everything • The connection between nervous system regulation and discernment • Why your intuition can be harder to hear when you’re stressed or dysregulated • How our brains naturally look for danger, lack, and “not enough” • Choosing to see life through a lens of abundance instead of scarcity • How surrender can help us loosen our grip on controlling the outcome • Why self-trust is essential for knowing when something is a true yes—or a true no • A simple five-senses grounding practice to help you move out of your busy mind and back into the present moment Why This Matters When your nervous system is activated, everything can feel louder and more urgent. It can be difficult to tell the difference between fear, intuition, protection, and genuine inner knowing. But as we learn to create more safety within ourselves, we create space to slow down, listen, and discern what is actually being asked of us. Sometimes the next step is action. Sometimes it’s a boundary. And sometimes it’s surrender. The goal isn’t to stop caring about what happens. It’s to build enough self-trust and nervous system capacity that you no longer have to grip so tightly to how it happens. ✨ Join the Abundance Book Club Want to be surrounded by other women intentionally choosing to see and experience life through the lens of abundance? Join us for the Abundance Book Club, a monthly virtual gathering where we use a book as a springboard for deeper conversations around abundance, trust, surrender, receiving, and creating more ease. You are welcome whether you finish the book, read one chapter, or don’t read it at all. 👉 https://erinwallencoaching.myflodesk.com/abundancebookclub 🤍 Ready to Go Deeper? You don’t have to force your way through life. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is create enough safety within yourself to hear what’s been quietly guiding you all along. 🤍
Episode 33 | Butterfly Soup: When You’re Between Who You Were and Who You’re Becoming
2026/09/15
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 33 | Butterfly Soup: When You’re Between Who You Were and Who You’re Becoming Welcome to Episode 33 of The Less Stress, More Magic Podcast ✨ I’m your host, Erin Wallen, and I’m so glad you’re here. Have you ever felt like you’re somewhere between the person you’ve been and the person you’re becoming? Maybe nothing is necessarily wrong. In fact, you may have created a life, career, or business you once dreamed about. And yet… something new is calling you forward. In this episode, I’m sharing vulnerably from a season where I feel very much in what I’m calling “butterfly soup”—that messy, uncertain space of transformation where the old is dissolving, but the new hasn’t fully taken shape yet. In This Episode We’ll talk about: 🦋 The “butterfly soup” analogy and what it can teach us about transformation✨ Why growth can feel uncomfortable even when you’re moving toward something you deeply desire🧠 Why your nervous system naturally prefers what’s familiar—and how to support yourself when you’re stepping into the unknown🤍 What I’m personally being called toward in this next season of my life and business🌿 Why you don’t need to know how your next chapter will unfold⚡ How urgency can be a sign that stress is driving your decisions🌎 What happens when you create enough internal safety to listen for your true desires and take the next aligned stepWhy This Matters Sometimes growth isn’t about leaving behind something bad. Sometimes it’s about being willing to loosen your grip on something good because you can feel yourself being called toward something new. And that can bring up a lot in the nervous system. You don’t need to force clarity. You don’t need to figure out the entire path. And you don’t need to rush your transformation. You can support your nervous system, stay curious about what’s emerging, and trust yourself to take the next step as it becomes clear. Maybe you’re not stuck. Maybe you’re just in the butterfly soup. 🦋✨ Reflection / Journal Prompts Take a moment to reflect: Where in my life might I be between who I was and who I’m becoming? Is there something good I’m holding onto because the next chapter feels unfamiliar? What is the next step I know right now—without needing to know the entire path?✨ Free Resource Support your nervous system with my Daily Ease Reset Checklist—a simple, grounding tool to help you bring more regulation and ease into your everyday life. 👉 https://erinwallencoaching.myflodesk.com/dailyeasechecklist If this episode resonates, I’d love for you to share it with someone who might be in their own butterfly soup right now. And if you’re listening while this episode is released, think of me soaking up Greece, leaning into my own next chapter, and practicing everything I’m sharing right alongside you. 🤍

In this episode, I coach Bridget, a breathwork facilitator and retreat host who finds herself navigating the pressure of filling an upcoming retreat. While it begins as a conversation about business, it quickly uncovers something much deeper: how easily we can tie our worth to outcomes we can't control. Whether you're launching a business, planning an event, working toward a personal goal, or simply hoping something works out, this episode will help you release the pressure of "getting it right" and reconnect with what truly matters. In This Episode We'll explore: ✨ Why we often tie our self-worth to external results ✨ The hidden fear beneath perfectionism and high achievement ✨ How to shift from being results-driven to mission-driven ✨ Why uncertainty doesn't mean you're doing something wrong ✨ A simple mindset shift that can create more peace while pursuing your goals ✨ How curiosity, trust, and purpose help you create with more ease Why This Matters When our identity becomes attached to outcomes, every setback can feel personal. You can stay rooted in your mission, trust the unfolding process, and believe that whatever the outcome... it can still be beautiful. Ready to Go Deeper? Episode 30: The Foundations of Ease (Part 3): Understanding Your Unique Nervous System
2026/08/25
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 30: The Foundations of Ease (Part 3): Understanding Your Unique Nervous System Welcome to Episode 30 of the Less Stress, More Magic Podcast—and the final episode in my Foundations of Ease series. We hear a lot about the importance of regulating your nervous system. But there’s another piece of the conversation that I believe is just as important: Understanding YOUR nervous system. Your nervous system is as unique as your fingerprint. It has been shaped by your experiences, patterns, relationships, and what has become familiar to you over time. And one of the most important things to understand is that your nervous system isn’t simply asking, “Am I safe?” It’s asking, “Does this feel safe?” That distinction matters because familiarity can feel safer to your nervous system—even when what’s familiar is stress, overworking, urgency, perfectionism, or overwhelm. In this episode, we explore how to begin recognizing your own nervous system patterns, why positive change and expansion can sometimes create unexpected dysregulation, and how slowly building your capacity for something new can help you experience more ease. In this episode, we’ll explore: ✨ Why your nervous system is as unique as your fingerprint ✨ The #1 question your nervous system is constantly asking ✨ Why familiar stress can feel “safer” than unfamiliar ease ✨ How your nervous system develops a familiar set point ✨ Why getting what you want can sometimes create MORE dysregulation ✨ The difference between Team Hyper, Team Hypo, and the “Magic Zone” ✨ How to identify the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connected to each nervous system state ✨ Why awareness alone can begin creating meaningful change ✨ How small, consistent practices help expand your capacity for more ease, opportunity, and growth You don’t need to understand everything about your nervous system overnight. Start small. Notice one thought. One feeling. One action. Because awareness changes everything—and the more you understand your unique nervous system, the more intentionally you can begin working with it instead of against it. 💛 Ready to Go Deeper? If you’re ready to truly understand your unique nervous system and build a personalized toolkit for creating more regulation, resilience, and ease, Power of Ease is now open. For a limited time, every new member will also receive 6 weeks of personalized WhatsApp coaching with me—giving you direct access for encouragement, guidance, customized nervous system tools, and support as you put this work into practice in your actual life. Because learning about your nervous system is powerful. But learning to recognize and support your own nervous system can change everything. Episode 29 | Foundations of Ease (Part 2): Self-Compassion for a Regulated Nervous System
2026/08/18
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 29: Foundations of Ease (Part 2): Self-Compassion for a Regulated Nervous SystemWelcome to Episode 29 of the Less Stress, More Magic Podcast—the second episode in my Foundations of Ease series. If you've ever believed that being hard on yourself would help you grow, achieve more, or finally "get it together," this episode is for you. The truth is, self-criticism doesn't create lasting change—it often keeps your nervous system stuck in survival mode. Real transformation begins when we learn to create safety within ourselves, and one of the most powerful ways to do that is through self-compassion. In this episode, I share why self-compassion isn't simply about being "nice" to yourself—it's a scientifically supported practice that helps regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and build resilience. You'll also learn a simple three-step framework from Dr. Kristin Neff that you can begin using today. In this episode, we'll explore: ✨ Why self-compassion is one of the most powerful nervous system regulation practices you can develop ✨ The difference between self-compassion and toxic positivity ✨ How self-criticism quietly keeps your brain and body in survival mode ✨ The concept of "clean pain" versus "dirty pain"—and why we often create more suffering than necessary ✨ Dr. Kristin Neff's simple three-step self-compassion framework ✨ Why slowing down and honoring your body's needs is often the most supportive choice ✨ A practical daily self-compassion practice you can begin using immediately ✨ Free Resource: Daily Ease Checklist If you're ready to strengthen the foundations of a more regulated nervous system, download my FREE Daily Ease Checklist—a simple 7-day guide designed to help you build sustainable habits that create more ease, resilience, and well-being. 👉 https://erinwallencoaching.myflodesk.com/dailyeasechecklist 💛 Ready to Go Deeper? 2026/08/11
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 28: The Foundations of Ease (Part 1) : Why Nervous System Resets Don't Last Welcome to Episode 28 of the Less Stress, More Magic Podcast—the first episode in my brand-new Foundations of Ease series. If you've ever searched for a way to "reset" your nervous system, this episode is for you. The truth is, there isn't a quick fix or one-time reset that permanently changes how your nervous system responds to life. Lasting transformation happens differently—and understanding how is one of the most empowering things you can learn. In this episode, I share why small, consistent practices create far more sustainable change than trying to overhaul your life overnight. We explore the science behind nervous system regulation, the "backdraft effect" that can happen when we push ourselves too hard, and the five foundational pillars that support a more regulated, resilient life. In this episode, we'll explore: ✨ Why there is no such thing as a permanent nervous system "reset" ✨ The surprising reason slow, consistent change creates the biggest transformation ✨ What the "backdraft effect" is—and why doing too much too quickly can actually increase stress ✨ How nervous system regulation works like compound interest over time ✨ The five foundational pillars that support a healthy, resilient nervous system ✨ Simple ways to begin creating lasting change without adding more to your already full life ✨ Free Resource: Daily Ease Checklist If you're ready to begin building these foundations, download my FREE Daily Ease Checklist—a simple 7-day guide designed to help you strengthen the habits that support nervous system regulation and create more ease in your everyday life. 👉 https://erinwallencoaching.myflodesk.com/dailyeasechecklist 💛 Ready to Go Deeper? Episode 27: How to Surrender Without Giving Up: The Nervous System Shift That Changes Everything
2026/08/04
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 27: How to Surrender Without Giving Up: The Nervous System Shift That Changes Everything Welcome to Episode 27 of the Less Stress, More Magic Podcast ✨ I'm your host, Erin Wallen, and I'm so glad you're here. What if surrender isn't giving up... but the very thing that's been missing? Many of us have been taught that if we want something, we have to work harder, control more, and figure everything out ourselves. But what if the greatest breakthroughs come when we loosen our grip instead? In this heartfelt episode, I share how understanding your nervous system can help you release the need to control every outcome, shift from scarcity to abundance, and create space for opportunities you never could have planned. In This Episode We'll explore: ✨ Why surrender requires courage—not weakness ✨ The surprising difference between surrendering and giving up ✨ How your nervous system influences your need for control ✨ The shift from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset ✨ Personal stories that transformed how I view trust, control, and life's unexpected gifts ✨ Why authenticity and surrender often go hand in hand Why This Matters When your nervous system feels safe, it's easier to release control, trust yourself, and stay open to possibilities beyond what your logical mind can imagine. Surrender isn't about settling for less—it's about making room for something greater than you could have planned on your own. If you've been feeling overwhelmed, exhausted from trying to hold everything together, or wondering how to trust life a little more, this episode is for you. 📚 Join the August Abundance Book Club This episode was inspired in part by The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer, and I'd love for you to continue the conversation with us. ✨ JOIN THE AUGUST ABUNDANCE BOOK CLUB HERE: https://erinwallencoaching.myflodesk.com/abundancebookclub Whether you've read the book or not, you're warmly invited to join us for this free virtual gathering as we explore surrender, abundance, and trusting the unfolding of our lives—together. Episode 26: The 4 Levels of Goal Setting: From Victim to Visionary
2026/07/28
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 26 Welcome to Episode 26 of The Less Stress, More Magic Podcast ✨ I’m your host, Erin Wallen, and I’m so glad you’re here. This podcast is for capable, caring women who are doing all the “right” things—yet still feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in stress. If you’ve ever tried to “think more positively” or reframe your mindset and wondered why it didn’t stick, this episode is for you. In This Episode What if the way you approach your goals matters just as much as the goals themselves? In this episode, we're exploring four different levels of seeing yourself, your dreams, and your ability to create change: Victim, Achiever, Co-Creator, and Visionary. Many high-achieving women spend years operating from the achiever level—creating incredible results while carrying stress, pressure, and the belief that everything depends on them. But there are other ways to create your life that feel more supportive, aligned, and ultimately more magical. We'll also explore how your nervous system influences the lens through which you see your circumstances and why awareness is the first step toward creating lasting change. We’ll talk about: ✨ The four levels of goal setting: Victim, Achiever, Co-Creator, and Visionary  ✨ Why high achievers often feel like everything depends on them  ✨ How your nervous system shapes the way you experience challenges and opportunities  ✨ The hidden costs of overworking and striving  ✨ What it means to trust that you're supported by something greater than yourself  ✨ Why releasing attachment to outcomes can actually help your dreams unfold with more ease Why This Matters The way we see our goals changes the way we experience our lives. When we're stuck in victimhood, life feels like it's happening to us. When we're operating solely from achievement, success can feel heavy and exhausting. But when we move toward co-creation and vision, we begin to trust, release some of the pressure, and create from a place of alignment instead of survival. The goal isn't perfection or living in one level all the time. It's simply becoming aware of where you are and gently inviting yourself into a new way of seeing. P.S. One last reminder! Episode 25: Being Magnetic: Authenticity, Nervous System Safety & Letting People Not Like You.
2026/07/21
Send us Fan Mail 🎙️ Episode 25: Being Magnetic: Authenticity, Nervous System Safety & Letting People Not Like You Welcome to Episode 25 of the Less Stress, More Magic Podcast ✨ I'm your host, Erin Wallen, and I'm so glad you're here. Have you ever worried that being fully yourself would cause people to judge you, misunderstand you, or even leave? What if the very thing you're afraid of is actually part of becoming more magnetic? In this episode, we're exploring the truth about magnetism, authenticity, and why nervous system safety matters when it comes to being seen and speaking your truth. Because like a magnet, there are two sides: as you become more aligned and authentic, you'll naturally attract what resonates and repel what doesn't. In This Episode, We Explore: ✨ What it really means to be magnetic ✨ Why authenticity naturally attracts and repels ✨ The connection between belonging, attachment, and self-expression ✨ Why letting people not like you can feel so vulnerable ✨ How nervous system safety supports authenticity and visibility ✨ Why people leaving or disagreeing with you doesn't mean you're doing something wrong ✨ How becoming more fully yourself can create more ease, alignment, and fulfillment Why This Matters So many capable, caring women spend years people pleasing, shape-shifting, and seeking approval without realizing how much energy it takes to abandon themselves in the process. The truth is that authenticity often requires tolerating discomfort and trusting that you don't need to be for everyone. As your nervous system learns that it's safe to be seen, heard, and fully yourself, you naturally become more magnetic to the people, opportunities, and experiences that are aligned for you. ✨ Special July Offer: Designed for Ease™ Human Design Guides This month only, my personalized Designed for Ease™ Human Design + Nervous System Guides are 50% off with code MAGIC.
