Mich was around 25 weeks pregnant when she found out her beautiful mum, Vicky, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, an aggressive type of brain cancer. Living with the fear that her mum might not meet her baby, and then losing Vicky just months after giving birth, profoundly shaped Mich's relationship with motherhood, healthy anxiety, and grief. Professor Leah Ruppanner is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Melbourne and author of the book ‘Drained: Reduce Your Mental Load to Do Less and Be More’. You might recognise Leah’s name from when we had her on the podcast last year speaking about traditional gender roles and the manosphere (link below if you missed it!). Mathew Carter hosts the podcast ‘The Secret Life of Dads’ alongside his co-host Lawrence. Alice Bleathman is a dietitian and creator based near Byron Bay.
