Finding Purpose When Life Doesn’t Go as Planned With Chris Norton
2026/10/26
In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with my friend Chris Norton for a powerful conversation about finding purpose when life doesn’t go as planned. After a devastating college football injury left him with a 3% chance of ever moving or feeling below his neck again, Chris discovered that his story was far from over. We talked about finding peace in God’s presence, holding on to hope when the future feels uncertain, and trusting God when His answers look different than we expected. Chris also shared why giving ourselves room to grieve can deepen our dependence on God, how focusing on today’s next step helps us move forward, and how God can use our hardest experiences to make a difference in someone else’s life. My hope is that this conversation reminds you that your limitations never limit what God can do in and through you. Whatever you’re facing today, you don’t have to have the future figured out to take your next faithful step. God is still at work, your story isn’t finished, and there is purpose ahead. Making Room for God When Life Feels Full With Charlotte Gambill
2026/10/12
In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with our dear friend Charlotte Gambill for a conversation about what it looks like to make room for more of what God has for us—even when our lives already feel full. We talked about how generosity begins in our thoughts and hearts, how our desire for control can keep us from embracing God’s invitations, and how making room for others can open the door to unexpected relationships and miracles. Charlotte also shared wisdom on leading with confidence, surrounding yourself with voices that keep you accountable, and refusing to let the sound of your past speak louder than your future. My hope is that this conversation challenges you to consider where God is inviting you to make room. Whether it’s making time for someone, loosening your grip on control, or responding to His voice, one small step of obedience can create space for something you never expected. How to Build a Life That Outlives You
2026/09/28
In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with one of our dynamic preachers here at Christ Fellowship, Pastor Tyler Gay. We had a conversation about what it really looks like to build a life that leaves a lasting legacy. We talked about how the small decisions we make today become the stories we tell tomorrow, and how a life of faithfulness is shaped long before we ever call it a legacy. This kind of faithfulness is found in the spiritual disciplines nobody applauds, in a genuine love for people, in the courage to share your faith, and in a commitment to the local church. My hope is that this conversation reminds you that you don’t build a legacy someday; you build it one small decision at a time, starting today. How to Lead Well and Live Whole With Lance Witt
2026/09/14
I had the opportunity to sit down with my dear friend and mentor, Lance Witt, and talk about what it looks like to lead well without losing your soul. After nearly 50 years in ministry, Lance shares why healthy leadership begins on the inside—with self-awareness, humility, and people who are willing to tell us the truth. We talked about the difference between holy and selfish ambition, taking responsibility for the pace of our lives, and building teams that value both health and high performance. Lance also shared how his definition of “more” has expanded beyond influence and impact to include his soul, family, relationships, and everyday life. My hope is that this conversation encourages you to care for what matters most, be faithful with what God has placed in your hands today, and lead well for the long haul. © 2024 Be Essential Songs (BMI) / Cashagamble Jet Music (BMI) (admin at EssentialMusicPublishing.com). Building a Legacy That Lasts With Coach Tom Mullins
2026/08/31
This conversation is a special one. I had the opportunity to sit down with my dad, Coach Tom Mullins, and ask him about the lessons he's learned after decades of leading, serving, and following Jesus. We talked about everything from family to legacy, and what it truly means to finish well. One thing that really stood out to me was how often Dad came back to what matters most. His life has given me a front row seat to the reality that success isn't measured by what we accomplish, but by the people we invest in, the faith we pass on, and the way we honor God through every season of life. This ended up being one of my favorite conversations we've had on the podcast—not just because it's full of wisdom, but because it was so personal. My hope is that it encourages you to treasure the people God has entrusted to you, live with greater intentionality, and build a legacy that lasts for generations. The Path to Your Potential
2026/08/17
Last episode, I started a conversation about the hidden traps that keep us from reaching our God-given potential. In this episode, I want to finish that conversation by sharing some practical steps we can take to become everything God created us to be. The truth is, potential isn't something you stumble into. It's something you steward. God has placed more inside of you than you may ever realize, but discovering it requires growth, faithfulness, and the willingness to keep taking the next step—even when progress feels slow. If you've ever wondered whether you're making the most of what God has entrusted to you, my hope is that this episode encourages you to keep growing, stay planted, and trust that God is still at work in your life.
The Hidden Traps Holding You Back
2026/08/03
In this episode, I wanted to talk about something we all wrestle with at some point: reaching our full, God-given potential. The truth is, most people don't fail to develop their potential because they lack talent or opportunity. More often than not, it's because they fall into traps that keep them from becoming everything God created them to be. In Part 1 of this conversation, I unpack three of the biggest obstacles I've seen hold people back—because before we can move forward, we first have to recognize what's keeping us stuck. If you've ever wondered whether you're becoming everything God created you to be, I hope this episode gives you the courage and perspective to take your next step. Don’t Give Up on the Dream With Chris Hodges
2026/07/20
In this episode, I sat down with my friend Chris Hodges, founding pastor of Church of the Highlands, for a conversation about faith, legacy, and why we should never stop dreaming. Drawing from his new book, Legacy Letters, Chris shared stories from his own journey and reminded me that God often develops our character long before He fulfills the dreams He's placed in our hearts. One thing he said during our conversation that really marked me was, “The dream is free, but the journey isn’t.” We talked about pursuing God-given dreams with intentionality, discipline, and trust. We also explored how the habits we build today become the legacy we leave tomorrow. If you've been tempted to give up on a dream, or if you've been wondering if God still has more for your life, I believe this conversation will inspire you to keep believing—and keep becoming. Stop Waiting Until You Feel Ready With Ryan Leak
2026/07/06
In this episode, I sat down with author, speaker, and leadership expert Ryan Leak for a conversation that reminded me of the power that comes from simply getting started. Ryan shared wisdom from his latest book, How to Work with Complicated People, but our conversation quickly turned to fear, faith, and what it looks like to take a step before you feel ready. We talked about stepping outside our comfort zones, the goal of difficult conversations, and how relationships change when we prioritize connection over agreement. One thing Ryan said that has stuck with me is this: “You can't get better if you don't get started.” If you've been waiting for the right time to take a step of faith, I think this conversation will give you the courage to move. The Most Important Voice in Your Life With Dr. John Maxwell
2026/06/22
In this continued conversation with Dr. John Maxwell, we talked about one of the most influential voices in your life — the one you hear every single day…your own. John shared why it's so important to learn how to talk to yourself, especially in seasons of failure, disappointment, or uncertainty. He also opened up about how his prayer life has changed over the years and how to grow through mistakes instead of being defined by them. One thing that really stayed with me was this: we have to stay with our failure long enough to learn from it. If we move on too quickly, we miss the lesson. This was such a rich conversation, and if you’ve been struggling in the wake of a failure, I believe it will help you see yourself — and your future — differently. How to Get a Return on Failure With Dr. John Maxwell
2026/06/08
In this episode, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with leadership expert and best-selling author, Dr. John Maxwell. We talked about one of life's most universal experiences: failure. John reminded me that failure isn't the problem — it's how we respond to it that matters. Too often, our tendency is to try to erase our mistakes, but when we erase the failure, we erase the lesson with it. We also talked about the power of taking action and then making adjustments along the way. If you've ever felt discouraged by a mistake, a missed opportunity, or a season that didn't go as planned, this conversation will help you see failure differently — and give you the courage to keep moving forward.
It Was Growing All Along With Andreas Nielsen
2026/05/25
In this episode, I sat down with my good friend Andreas Nielsen from Hillsong Sweden for a powerful and honest conversation about loss, identity, and belonging. We talked about how the strength we need for the mountain is often forged in the valley, and through a powerful illustration, Andreas shared what it really looks like to grow in God’s kingdom. If you’ve ever felt like you don’t belong or like life hasn’t gone the way you hoped, this conversation will remind you that God is still at work — we just need to keep watering what He’s doing beneath the surface.
Are You Ready for What You’re Praying for? With Charlotte Gambill
2026/05/11
In this episode, I sat down with Charlotte Gambill for an honest and challenging conversation about what it really means to pursue the “more” God has for our lives. We often talk about believing God for more, but Charlotte reminded me that more from God will always require more from us. It requires deeper commitment, stronger character, greater responsibility, and a willingness to say yes — even in the small, unseen moments. We talked about leadership, obedience, and how the yes you say today can shape the direction of your life tomorrow. If you’ve been praying for more, this conversation will challenge you to ask a different question — are you getting ready for what God is preparing for you? Getting Back in Tune With God
2026/04/27
In a world filled with endless distractions and constant noise, it’s easier than ever to drift. And I’ve learned that when our hearts get out of alignment, everything starts to feel harder than it should. But when we pause long enough to tune our hearts to truth, we begin to experience the clarity, energy, and peace that come from living in step with God. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or just a little off, I hope this episode helps you make some small adjustments so you can get back in tune with God.
When Your Soul Feels Out of Sync
2026/04/13
In this episode, I’m flying solo to talk about something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately — the pace of our lives and the impact it’s having on our souls.  It’s possible to be productive on the outside, but empty on the inside. I’ve learned that God doesn’t always bless busy — He blesses healthy rhythms. And yet, in today’s culture, we wear “busy” like a badge of honor.  But I believe many of the things we’re searching for are actually found when we learn to be still in God’s presence. In a world that celebrates speed, what if we were intentional about slowing down and creating space in our lives — for the good of our souls? If your life has felt rushed, noisy, crowded, or just a little off, my hope is that this episode will help you reset your rhythm and reconnect with your source of strength.  Resources mentioned in this episode:  Replenish: Leading from a Healthy Soul by Lance Witt (https://www.amazon.com/Replenish-Leading-Healthy-Lance-Witt/dp/0801013542) Learn More About Christ Fellowship (https://www.christfellowship.church/) Check Out More from Pastor Todd (https://toddmullins.org) Sign Up for the Made for Mondays Newsletter (https://toddmullins.org)
