Girl Power's Book Club Episode 2!
2026/10/14
Book Club is BACK for episode two, and things got a little out of hand!
This week, Sarah is joined by Timberline and Aleah to talk about everything from spicy romance and haunted houses to Stephen King, vampire lore, and books that have changed our lives.
Somehow, we also ended up discussing childhood trauma caused by vending machines, our survival skills in horror movies, Hallmark husbands, and Snoop Dogg as Santa Claus.
We promise this is a book club. We just get a little distracted!
The best part? We all read different books, so there’s always something new to discover.
Listen or watch the full episode, have a few laughs with us, and tell us in the comments: Which book would YOU want to read?
Welcome to Girls Club Book Club, where staying on topic is completely optional!

2026/10/14
Lebanon City Councilman Jaret Scharnhorst joins David Millsap for a candid discussion about some of the biggest issues facing Lebanon.
They discuss the city’s controversial $75,000 rebranding project, automated license plate readers, the Red Fox property, ongoing concerns surrounding the Ice Cream Factory, potential data center development, and the future of the Cowan Civic Center and YMCA.
Scharnhorst also reflects on his first six months on the City Council, recently passing the Missouri bar exam, and the challenges of making decisions that affect the community.
It’s an informative conversation about local government, public concerns, and the future of Lebanon on this episode of Millsap in the Morning.
Good Morning Lebanon: October 9, 2026
2026/10/09
It’s another fun Friday on Good Morning Lebanon!
Ashley Mahan and Brian Hash catch up on Chamber news and community events, then visit with Jodi Wilson from Phoenix Home Care and Hospice about upcoming fall events and Lori Blue from Out of the Blue Travel about the Chamber’s first group trip to Ireland in 2027.
Then things get weird.
Ashley and Brian battle it out in a BeanBoozled jelly bean challenge with $50 and a Good Morning Lebanon T-shirt on the line for one lucky viewer. Spoiler: there are tears, questionable flavors and some immediate regret.
Millsap in the Morning: Will Guthrie
2026/10/07
Will Guthrie spent 22 years in the U.S. Army, but his decision to serve started with stories from his grandfather.
The host of Vet Talk joined David Millsap on Millsap in the Morning to talk about why he chose the infantry, how his original four-year plan became a career, and the advice he gives young people considering military service today.
They also get into a bigger question: Could the United States benefit from some form of mandatory national service?
Watch the full conversation from Ozark Fiber Studios on Lebanon Now.
Ladies Night: Book Club Edition Episode 1
2026/10/01
Ladies Night is officially getting bookish!
In this Book Club Edition, the ladies sit down to talk about the books they love, the books that disturbed them, massive TBR lists, book hoarding, lending books, libraries, audiobooks and getting kids excited about reading.
From Frida McFadden and Stephen King to Ishmael, Tender Is the Flesh and plenty of unexpected recommendations, the conversation goes everywhere.
No assigned reading. No homework. Just women, books, laughs and a conversation that somehow ends with cannibalism.
Welcome to Ladies Night: Book Club Edition!
Millsap in the Morning: Melinda Fries and "Organization"
2026/09/23
David Millsap sits down with Lebanon Area Foundation Executive Director Melinda Fries for a conversation about the journey that brought her from the Pacific Northwest to Lebanon and how she eventually found her place in the community.
Melinda shares the story of a stranger helping her with a flat tire that changed her first impression of Lebanon, growing up with very little and finding a sense of belonging in public libraries, and how those experiences helped shape her work today.
The conversation also turns to the Lebanon Area Foundation, Community Cares and the upcoming Day of Giving on September 30, when volunteers will take to the streets across Lebanon to raise money supporting local needs.
It’s a conversation about Lebanon, getting involved, giving what you can and how small acts can make a big difference.
Vet Talk: Part 2- How the Outdoors is Bringing Veterans Together
2026/09/23
In Part Two of Vet Talk with Army veteran Mike Unruh, Adam Fries and William Guthrie talk with Mike about life after the Army, building Ridge to Rivers Outdoors and his work with The Fallen Outdoors.
Mike shares how the organization brings veterans together through free hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking and other outdoor experiences, creating opportunities to build friendships, find support and connect with other veterans. The conversation also covers resources available to veteran-owned businesses, veteran suicide prevention and The Fallen Outdoors’ 22 for the 22 program.
For Mike, the mission is simple: veterans helping veterans.
Vet Talk: Meet Army veteran Mike Unruh.
2026/09/22

Millsap in the Morning: Mike Morris and Merri Hess
2026/09/16
David Millsap is joined by longtime Lebanon radio personalities Mike Morris and Merri Hess for a trip through nearly 50 years of local broadcasting history.
From their early days at KLWT to high school radio, Yellowjacket sports, razor-blade tape editing, memorable on-air mistakes and the personalities who helped shape Lebanon radio, the three share stories from an era when local radio was truly local.
There are plenty of laughs, a little history, some stories that probably should have stayed off the air, and a look at how broadcasting has changed over the decades.
It’s three old friends, three familiar voices and a whole lot of Lebanon radio history on this episode of Millsap in the Morning.
Good Morning Lebanon: September 11, 2026
2026/09/11
It’s another packed Friday on Good Morning Lebanon!
Ashley Mahan and Brian Hash kick off the morning with Chamber updates, upcoming events and everything happening around Lebanon, including Optimist mum pickup, the Case Celebration in the Ozarks, Homecoming, Community Cares and more.
Angela Fries with L-Life Food Pantry joins the show to talk about the upcoming Party at the Park on September 19, the pantry’s current financial needs, volunteer opportunities and the work being done to continue serving families throughout the community.
Lebanon Police Chief Jerry Harrison stops by for an important conversation during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. He discusses the Lebanon Police Department’s co-responder program, how officers are responding to mental health crises, early results from the program and the importance of recognizing when someone may need help.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Good Morning Lebanon without a little chaos. Ashley and Brian wrap things up by taking on the “Rump Race,” a balloon-popping competition that gets just about as ridiculous as the name suggests.
Catch up on the community, meet the people making a difference and have a few laughs along the way on this week’s Good Morning Lebanon!
Millsap in the Morning: James & Evah from Project Z

This week on Millsap in the Morning, David welcomes Project Z hosts James Perrigo and Evah Ryan for a collision of generations.
From communication and social media to jobs, college, politics, AI and the future, James and Evah share how Gen Z sees the world and what they wish older generations understood about them. They also talk about the creation of Project Z, their recent discussion on the Lebanon R-3 school board levy decision, where they get their news and their plans after high school.
It’s a fun, thoughtful conversation that shows different generations may have more in common than they think.
