Find Joy in Something You've Been Conditioned to Dread
2026/10/23
If you're like so many people, I bet you dread the shorter days, colder weather, and darkness of winter. That's totally normal! But WHAT IF everything you've been wishing away is exactly where you can find magic this winter? Think about it... without the darkness, you'd never see the stars, the moon, the planets, or be able to wish on a shooting star. The shorter days give us a season to slow down, rest, rebuild, or just simply BE. You can flip your script on winter! You can embrace it as a season of beauty, peace, and restoration. You can discover more of the amazing night sky! Now THAT is special! In this episode, I'm sharing a simple shift in perspective that's changing how I approach the darker months. Because life is too short to spend an entire season wishing it away. Give this episode a listen. You might just discover a whole new way to find joy in the darkness. And please share it with someone you know who typically hates winter... hopefully they'll discover a little magic too! And when you're ready, download my free journal prompts HERE. It's a great way to get reacquainted with yourself, your goals, and gratitude during these slower months.
The 10 Commandments of Investing in Yourself!
2026/10/16
How do you invest in yourself when you don't even believe you're worth the investment? For years, that was ME! I heard people talk about personal growth and investing in themselves, but I didn't even know what the hell that actually meant! Now I know, and it's changed my life! Investing in yourself means getting into the right rooms, hiring a coach or mentor, reading the right books, listening to podcasts, and surrounding yourself with people who challenge your limiting beliefs and push you to grow. In this episode, I'm sharing my 10 Commandments of Investing in Yourself — powerful mindset shifts, personal growth habits, and lessons in accountability that can help you stop playing small and start becoming the confident, successful woman you KNOW you're capable of being. Because if you won't bet on yourself, why the hell should anyone else? Hit play! Let's talk about what it REALLY means to invest in yourself and how to start creating the future you've been dreaming about instead of spending another year wishing for it. And be sure to use these journal prompts to get you in the right headspace for growth!
Fed Up With the AI Crap & Pressure to Grow? Me Too.
2026/10/02
Y’all, I am so tired of being told all the things I have to do to grow online. Use this AI tool. Automate this. Take this course. Follow this strategy. Post this way. Do more, more, more. At some point, all of that “growth advice” starts pulling us further away from the very thing people are actually craving right now — real human connection. In this episode, I’m talking about why I’m done chasing every new AI trend and social media rules, why I believe authenticity matters more than ever, and why you do not need everybody to follow you. You need the right people to connect with you. AI absolutely has its place. But I don’t want it replacing the conversations, relationships and presence that make us human. Maybe growth doesn’t require more. Maybe it requires more of YOU. And if you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the noise too, this episode is for you. Don’t forget to grab my free journaling prompts HERE, and share this episode with someone who needs permission to stop chasing all the “shoulds.”
What I Give a Damn About
2026/09/18
I believe giving back should be about more than writing a check. In this episode, I’m sharing five local organizations I genuinely give a damn about: Guardian Heals, Neuse River Golden Rescue (Gears for Goldens), Angels Among Us at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, Taylor Family YMCA, and The Carying Place. Yes, I donate financially—but I also believe our time, our voices, our connections, and our willingness to actually get involved can be just as valuable. These organizations are making a real impact right here in our community, and I hope this episode inspires you to find a cause you care about and become part of the work. I’ve included links below so you can learn more, donate, volunteer, or find another way to get involved. You don’t have to change the whole world. Sometimes you just have to start in your own backyard.   Click on each name to learn more: Guardian Heals Neuse River Golden Rescue Angels Among Us (The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke) Taylor Family YMCA The Carying Place   And if you'd like the free journaling prompts, just click HERE.
What People Watching Taught Me About Life
2026/09/11
Maybe you're like me and you like people watching. Except for me, it's so much more than just watching. It's deep observation — and somehow, it gives me an even deeper appreciation for life. In today's episode, I reflect on how the things I observe during my morning walks have impacted the way I see life, and I hope it changes the way you see things on your next walk too. There is so much beauty happening in the life around us... I hope you don't miss it — or the impact simply noticing it can have on your own life. Share this with a friend who also loves to people watch. It might just change the way they see things too! And don't forget to download the free journal prompts HERE from my website. They are simply the best!
The Buzzard, The Death & The Rebirth
2026/09/04
Y’all, I cannot make this stuff up. Three times over the past few weeks, a turkey buzzard flew across my path so low I thought I was going to hit it with my car. And then the damn thing stopped… and looked at me. Three different times. Coincidence? Maybe. But when I started looking at what was happening in my life each time it showed up, things got a little weird. There was a pattern I hadn’t noticed before — and once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it. This episode is about the signs we miss, the shifts happening underneath the surface, and what can happen when you actually start paying attention to the woman you’re becoming. And yes… we’re talking about the buzzard. Listen to the episode, then download my FREE journaling prompts from my website and spend a little time looking at what might be shifting in your own life. And send this one to a friend who’s in the middle of becoming something new. She’ll get it. Get your FREE journal prompts HERE
Friend, You’re Not Moving Forward With Your Foot Still on the Brake!
2026/08/21
Babe… I get it. I’ve done it too. I tell myself I’m going for it. I “do” all the things that make it look like I’m going for it. And yet, somewhere underneath all of that, there’s still this little tinge of fear keeping one foot on the brake. And half the time, I don’t even realize I’m doing it to myself. But that foot on the brake is exactly what keeps us from going all in. So in this episode, we’re getting really honest about the thoughts, fears and behaviors that may be quietly holding us back—so we can uncover them, release them, and finally move forward the way we know we’re capable of. So my friend, grab that journal and get honest: Where are you still keeping one foot on the brake? Find it. Call it out. Rewrite the story. Then go ALL IN! Need some journal prompt? Grab my free ones HERE Share this with a friend that still has her foot on the break and help her move forward with clarity!
What If You Stopped Wasting Your Energy on Other Women? Babe, Use It for Yourself!
2026/08/14
What if you stopped using your imagination to build up everyone else’s life… and started using it to build your own? We create these incredible stories about other women—their success, money, confidence, careers, lives—while telling ourselves all the reasons we can’t have the same things. In this episode, I’m challenging you to flip that. Use your imagination for you. See the life YOU want. Start thinking, speaking, and showing up like the woman who is already creating it. Stop giving your power away and start using it to create what’s next. Send this to a friend who needs to stop imagining for others and instead start for herself! And take your visualization to the next level by grabbing your FREE journal prompts HERE They changed my life and they could do the same for you!
Trust The Pivot Season
2026/07/31
We all know about the build season, the run season, the scale season, and all the others. But how many of us actually acknowledge the pivot season? It’s a pretty significant season that often gets overlooked. A pivot could mean changing careers, changing the trajectory of a goal within the same career, or simply moving from a career season into a true season of rest. Pivot season requires patience, learning, grace, and a willingness to pause. And it deserves far more awareness than we tend to give it. What season are you currently in? Have you ever given much thought to your pivot season? Recognizing it could seriously help you understand your journey a little better. Ready to level up? Grab my free journaling prompts below. Journaling changed my mindset and my life in a major way. I’ve doubled my income many times by using it to shift my energy and step into my future self—and it could do the same for you. And send this to a friend that is in a pivot season but didn't see it for all it's glory! Get your FREE journal prompts HERE
Feel the Big Emotions. Don't Deny Them. Then Move Forward.
2026/07/17
Big emotions are part of life. Grief. Fear. Anxiety. Guilt. Joy. They all deserve to be acknowledged—not pushed aside or ignored. In this episode, I'm sharing one of the biggest mindset shifts I've ever had after my husband was given six months to live. It's the lesson that changed how I approach difficult seasons, life's biggest celebrations, and everything in between. You don't have to deny your emotions. In fact, I believe you should fully experience them. But there's a difference between feeling them and living in them. Giving yourself permission to have a "Feels Day" doesn't mean you're giving up—it means you're honoring where you are so you can find the strength to keep moving forward. If you're carrying a lot right now or facing a season of uncertainty, I hope this episode reminds you that it's okay to feel every emotion that comes your way... and then take the next step forward. Download my free journal prompts HERE to help you reconnect with gratitude, clarify your big WHY, and keep moving toward the life you're creating. If this episode resonated with you, I'd love for you to subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs this reminder today.
Heidi Koch: Reclaim The Woman In The Mirror
2026/07/10
What happens when you’ve spent years making accommodations, supporting everyone else, and building a life that looks successful… but somewhere along the way, you stop recognizing yourself? In this episode, I’m joined by Dr. Heidi Koch — aesthetic medicine physician, speaker, and the woman behind Reclaim Your Reflection — for a powerful conversation about identity, reinvention, limiting beliefs, and the courage it takes to pursue what is still calling you. Heidi shares how her divorce became a turning point that led her to pause, reflect, and begin reconnecting with who she really was and what she wanted her life to look like. We talk about career pivots, fear, the beliefs we accidentally carry for years, and why so many women need to stop long enough to ask: Who am I now, and what do I actually want? If you’ve been feeling the pull toward something more but fear, judgment, or old beliefs keep getting loud, this conversation will remind you that you are allowed to pivot, reclaim yourself, and keep going. You’re Not Confused. You’re Afraid.
2026/07/03
Be honest… are you really confused about your next step, or are you avoiding the decision? Because asking everyone for opinions, reading another book, listening to another podcast, and downloading one more freebie to help you “decide” may actually just be procrastination dressed up as preparation. In this episode, we’re talking about how to stop stalling, connect to the woman you say you want to become, and finally take action toward the life, career, or business you know you’re capable of creating. Female Realtors ready to break through to their next level can apply for my mastermind in the show notes. Stop Chasing Your Goals So Hard You Miss Your Life
2026/06/26
I’ve been doing an audit of my life lately, and I want to share something that’s been heavy on my heart. Y’all know I am ambitious. I’m a strong, independent woman, and I will always encourage other women to find their audacity, chase what they want, and create a life that feels powerful and free. But today’s episode is about something just as important: not missing the real moments while we’re pursuing our goals. This exact moment in your life will only happen once. Miss it, and it’s gone. So in this short episode, I’m encouraging you to pause. To audit where you need more breathing room. To enjoy the scenery. To create the moments before they pass you by… while still going for the goal. I hope this one speaks to you, and I hope you share it with someone who needs the reminder. It’s a short and beautiful life. Don’t forget to pause long enough to actually live it.   Get your FREE life changing journal prompts HERE
Stop Listening to People Who Don’t Understand Your Vision
2026/06/19
If you’ve ever been called too much, too intense, too ambitious, or a little crazy for wanting more out of your life… this episode is for you. There will always be people who don’t understand your fire, your drive, or the vision you have for your future. But their lack of vision does not get to become the reason you shrink your dreams. Listen now if you’re ready to stop explaining yourself and start trusting the music only you can hear. And if this episode lights something up in you, download the free journal prompt to help ignite the fire and start going after the dreams you keep pushing aside. Get your FREE journal prompts HERE
4 Massive Questions to Wake You Up and Light That Fire
2026/06/12
Are you actually living the life you want… or are you still performing the version of yourself that keeps everyone else comfortable? In this episode, I’m asking four massive questions that are not fluffy, surface-level journal prompts. These are the questions that make you stop scrolling, grab a pen, and get honest with yourself. Do you really know who you are? Do you actually like yourself? Do you trust yourself enough to take the next step? And do you know why the hell this next version of your life matters so much? Because here’s the truth: a lot of women are exhausted. Exhausted from shrinking. Exhausted from playing nice. Exhausted from living by rules they didn’t even write. And at some point, you have to decide: am I going to keep making myself smaller so other people feel safe… or am I finally going to take control of my own life? You are the writer, director, and producer of your life. Start with these four journal prompts. Be brutally honest with yourself. Then share this episode with the friend who is tired of playing small and needs the reminder that she gets to write a bigger story, too. This one may hit a nerve. Good. That probably means it’s exactly what you needed.   Get your FREE journal prompts HERE
