Mike and his songwriting/production partner, Jerry Leiber, known professionally as Leiber & Stoller wrote hits like “Hound Dog” (Elvis Presley fame), wrote and produced “Stand By Me”, “Yakety Yak” and “Poison Ivy” to name a few... While Jerry is no longer with us, Mike has remained a dear family friend and was gracious enough to sit down with us for a few hours to discuss his life, inspirations and how our fathers intertwined into his rich musical legacy.
