Dead of Night: The Haunting of Lake Shawnee Amusement Park
2026/10/12
An abandoned Ferris wheel. Rusting swings. And a history that refuses to stay buried. Hidden in the mountains of West Virginia, Lake Shawnee Amusement Park was once a place filled with laughter, excitement, and childhood memories. Today, its abandoned rides stand as eerie reminders of a much darker past. Long before the amusement park opened, the surrounding land was associated with violence and tragedy. Decades later, fatal accidents at the park would add another haunting chapter to its history. And according to visitors and paranormal investigators, some of those who lost their lives may have never truly left. In this episode of What’s Done in the Dark with Tierra: Dead of Night, we’re uncovering the history of Lake Shawnee, the tragedies that shaped its reputation, and the chilling reports of unexplained activity that continue to surround the abandoned amusement park. Are the spirits of Lake Shawnee still wandering among the rusted rides, or has the park’s tragic history given rise to a legend that refuses to die? Some places close their gates. Others never let go. 💚 What’s Done in the Dark with Tierra — where the truth always comes to light. The 8-Block Walk: The Disappearance of Jason Jolkowski
2026/10/01
On the morning of June 13, 2001, 19-year-old Jason Jolkowski was called into work early. His car was in the shop, so Jason made a simple plan: walk about eight blocks from his Omaha home to Benson High School, where a coworker would be waiting to give him a ride. At approximately 10:45 a.m., Jason was seen outside his home helping his younger brother bring in the trash cans. Less than an hour later, his coworker was calling to ask why he hadn’t shown up. Jason never made it to the school. He never made it to work. And more than 25 years later, no one has been able to explain what happened during that short walk. In this episode of What’s Done in the Dark: Missing Mysteries, we’re looking at Jason’s final known movements, the early investigation, what he left behind, and some of the theories that have surrounded his disappearance. Did Jason encounter someone he knew? Did something happen closer to home? Or is the answer something investigators haven’t considered? One thing remains certain: Jason Jolkowski is still missing. 🎙️ What’s Done in the Dark with Tierra

2026/09/19
In September 2004, 22-year-old college student Rebekah Gould spent the weekend near the tiny town of Guion, Arkansas. Her belongings were left behind. Her dog was still at the house. But when investigators went inside, they discovered evidence that changed everything. What followed was a murder investigation filled with rumors, suspicion, unanswered questions, and a mystery that would remain unresolved for 16 years. Then, someone connected to the house began talking about Rebekah’s case online. And eventually, investigators started listening. Jorden Nebling: She Never Walked Away | Behind Closed Doors
2026/09/10
19-year-old Jorden Nebling disappeared from Travelers Rest, South Carolina, on October 10, 2020. After the car she was driving broke down, Jorden called her former boyfriend, Tyler Wilkins, for a ride. He would later tell investigators that the two argued and Jorden simply walked away. She was never seen again. For years, Jorden’s family searched for answers. Then, in 2022, another young woman connected to Tyler — 22-year-old Clarrissa Winchester — was killed. Suddenly, Jorden’s disappearance was viewed through a very different lens. In this episode of What’s Done in the Dark: Behind Closed Doors, we follow Jorden’s disappearance, Clarrissa’s story, the investigation that connected the two cases, and the major development that came nearly five years after Jorden vanished. Two Women. Two CVS Trips. Two Very Different Outcomes | Case Files #3
2026/08/27
Two women in two different states leave after seemingly ordinary trips connected to CVS—and then both disappear. At first glance, the similarities between the cases of Alisa Goods and Chantel “Cici” Brooks are hard to ignore. But as new information emerges, their stories take very different turns. In Case Files #3, we’re also discussing the heartbreaking case of 18-year-old college soccer player Karoline Heintz, whose boyfriend has been charged in connection with her death—and the disturbing allegations involving his mother afterward. And finally, we’re reopening a previous Case File. New information has been released about the death of Melissa Casias, giving us part of an answer while leaving one major question unresolved. Four cases. New developments. And stories we’ll continue following as more information becomes available. 🎙️ What’s Done in the Dark with Tierra

Hollywood Horrors: Who Killed Juliana Redding?
2026/08/20
She was 21 years old, living in Southern California, attending college, modeling, and exploring a future in acting. Then, in March 2008, Juliana Redding was found murdered inside her Santa Monica apartment. What investigators uncovered would turn her case into a complicated Hollywood mystery involving a former boyfriend, a failed business deal, an unidentified woman’s DNA—and eventually, a suspect. Investigators had DNA. A fingerprint. Blood. There was an arrest. There was a trial. And still… No one has ever been convicted of Juliana Redding’s murder. In the first installment of Hollywood Horrors, we’re stepping behind the bright lights of Southern California and into the story of Juliana Redding—the young woman at the center of the case, the evidence investigators believed pointed toward an answer, and the trial that left her family with even more questions. 🎬 This is Hollywood Horrors: Who Killed Juliana Redding? Listen to the story. Consider the evidence. And tell me what you think happened. 💚 What’s Done in the Dark with Tierra — where the truth always comes to light. #JulianaRedding #HollywoodHorrors #UnsolvedMurder #TrueCrimePodcast #WhatsDoneInTheDark
They Surrounded the Farmhouse | The Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter.
2026/08/13
Dead of Night: The Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter For Spotify, I actually prefer the straightforward title. People searching specifically for the case are more likely to recognize it immediately. Spotify Description Something was outside the farmhouse. But more than 70 years later, no one can definitively say what it was. On August 21, 1955, a group of people gathered at a rural Kentucky farmhouse when the night took a bizarre turn. After Billy Ray Taylor reported seeing a strange light streak across the sky, the witnesses claimed small, glowing-eyed figures began appearing around the property. What followed was hours of fear, gunfire and an eventual trip to the police station for help. The encounter would become one of America’s most famous UFO stories—the Kelly-Hopkinsville Encounter. But there’s another side to the story. Could a meteor explain the light in the sky? Could great horned owls explain the strange figures? Was fear responsible for what the witnesses believed they saw? Or did something unexplained really visit that Kentucky farmhouse? In this episode of Dead of Night, we’re going through the story, the investigation and the theories surrounding one very strange night in 1955. Listen to the story. Consider the evidence. And decide what you believe. 💚 What’s Done in the Dark with Tierra #KellyHopkinsvilleEncounter #DeadOfNight #UFOStories #ParanormalPodcast #WhatsDoneInTheDark
